In this clip from this week’s episode of ‘Sister Wives,’ Kody Brown’s children all feel differently about continuing the polygamist tradition in their own families!

Kody Brown‘s kids are split when it comes to plural marriage like their own parents. On this Sunday’s episode of Sister Wives, the teens explain where they sit on being polygamists when they grow up — and only one girl is 100% convinced it’s her path.

“I just prayed about where I want to go with my life and I see all these good things that come from a plural marriage,” Mariah, Meri‘s daughter says. “It seems corny but I honestly can’t wait until I can have sister wives. So it’s just been one of those things that I’ve just decided to do with my life.”

Meanwhile, her half-sister, Madison feels differently about the issue. “I won’t,” she says, confidently.

Kody Brown and Lady Gaga may have more in common than one would ever think — they are both campaigning for equal rights when it comes to marriage! Kody’s lawyer Jonathan Turley wrote on his blog, “I will be traveling to Salt Lake City today to file (on Wednesday) a challenge to the Utah statute criminalizing bigamy and cohabitation. The lawsuit will be filed on behalf of my clients, the Brown family.” Go Kody!

The Brown family may seem like the nation’s most unlikely civil rights fighters, but they make a completely valid point. Just as homosexuals are (slowly) being granted equal treatment with heterosexuals in the marriage arena, polygamists too should be given equal rights.

To that end, the Browns are even invoking Lawrence V. Texas, the now famous overturning of Texas’ anti-sodomy law, which stated the government had no control over the intimate and private acts of consenting adults.

Now some will of course think this will lead to child brides and cite the all-to-frequent problems of women held against their will in some polygamous faiths but, to be honest, it seems like far less of a worry once it is being monitored. As much as this is about the government not being involved in the personal lives of the Brown family, it also means the government will have an official record of these unions should they occur — and no 14-year-old girl is going to be able to sing a marriage certificate to a 50-year-old man.

It remains to be seen how the Browns will fair, but as anyone on the show has seen, Kody and his wives appear to have a completely healthy and upstanding relationship. Just because it may not be your choice does not mean others should not have the option. And don’t forget that this would be a two-way street — a woman could take a couple of husbands for herself.

Sadly, we will not get to hear the famous gay quip that the Bible says polygamy is against God’s will should this become a national argument. Jacob, Esau, Gideon, and our old pal Solomon collected wives like Carrie Bradshaw did heels.

It’s rough enough to be the children of polygamist parents. And what could make it any harder? When your family of 16 kids moves to Sin City!

The Sister Wives kids miss their home state of Utah, where their parents’ multiple-partner marriage may have raised fewer eyebrows. Now a bunch of the 16 kids are going to high school in Las Vegas, where big daddy Kody Brown decided to  move his brood. It’s not been a smooth start, an insider tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively!

Logan, Aspyn, Madison, Mykelti and Mariah are attending a Vegas high school, where, our source says, “everyone was making a huge deal about it the first week but now everyone is treating them like regular people! Everyone is pretty used to it now!”

But the Brown kids aren’t feeling comfortable yet: “They do miss Utah!”

One problem: It doesn’t sound like they’ve made too many close friends who they see after classes because they live pretty far away from the school.

See how the whole giant family is doing March 20 when the next episode airs on TLC, and the four wives and their kids take a walk on the wild and dangerous side.

The arrival of my baby son made my life so complicated (and sleepless!). I can’t imagine what it must be like looking after nearly 100!

Meet Ziona Chana, the proud patriarch of the world’s largest family! He has 94 kids and 33 grandchildren. That’s insane!

And Ziona has had a little help accumulating this bumper brood, he claims he’s “blessed” with 39 wives!

Suddenly Sister Wives star Kody Brown looks like an amateur. And the Duggars‘ 19 kids look like a small soccer team.

“I feel like God’s special child. He’s given me so many people to look after,” Ziona says. “I consider myself a lucky man to be the husband of 39 women and head of the world’s largest family.”

Add including grandchildren and in-laws and Ziona’s extended family numbers 181 – all of whom share a four-story, 100-room mansion in the Indian state of Mizoram.

If it sounds a little cramped, it is for the wives, who have to share communal dormitories — while Ziona relaxes in his own private room.

Ziona’s ladies have to wait their turn to spend the night with him – a complicated rotation organizes his love life, with preferential treatment given to the youngest of his spouses.

Ziona’s allowed to practice polygamy because he’s the head of a sect that encourages multiple marriages.

And you’d better lock up your daughters, wives and mothers — he’s on the lookout for more ladies, and he’s prepared to take his search to American shores.

Ziona says, ‘To expand my sect, I am willing to go even to the U.S. to marry.”

Kody sure got over his wife-hunting distaste, cause sitting on ‘the couch’ with his four wives on the Oct. 31 Sister Wives special, he couldn’t wipe his s**t-eating grin off his face.

My guess is that despite the revelation that he didn’t originally want to hunt for a fourth wife — his new marriage to Robyn has brought the tiger out in Kody.

It’s also brought the glam out in wives number 1 to 3 — Meri, Janelle and Christine, who have all gotten a lot blonder, a little slimmer and more dolled up in mascara, since the end of season 2.

The family may be facing prosecution for polygamy since the show launched, but they are clearly enjoying their new found fame.

Outspoken wife, Christine admits that she’s the biggest attention hog of the family and seems to have reconciled herself to having wife #4 as part of the family. She admitted last night, that she had ( rightly) felt abandoned when Kody courted Robyn, and was especially disturbed when Kody helped Robyn choose her wedding dress.

“He didn’t care what my wedding dress was,” she groused. Not that I blame her. In fact, I totally felt Christine and other jealous wife, Meri’s, pain. Why wouldn’t ANY wife not be bugged by having to share their husband with another woman. Why shouldn’t Christine, who was pregnant with her sixth child by Kody, not be put out that he spent her pregnancy courting, younger, slimmer Robyn — Ye – ahh!

Apparently there are 35,000 polygamist families in Utah which makes you wonder why the murder rate isn’t higher there, but clearly these sister wives are really good at anger management and could teach us non-polygs a thing or two.

While the Browns didn’t make any major revelations, what was just as interesting as the Halloween special, were the previews for next weeks’ Kate and 8 ( take Alaska) special AND a new trailer for Sarah Palin’s Alaska, where Sarah practically challenged a mama bear attack her!

Between Kody and Sarah, the theme of the night was we are sooo happy being Manned-Up!

Dealing with a teenage daughter isn’t exactly smooth sailing, but when you’ve got 18 kids? Forget about it! The stars of the TLC reality show Sister Wives – Kody Brown and his four wives (Meri, 39, Janelle, 40, Christine, 37, and Robyn, 31) — have got to be stretched to their limits keeping up with so many kids, but their problems with their rebellious teens have reportedly gotten a lot worse since the show’s premiere on TLC last month. “The daughters seem messed up from this situation,” a neighbor who lives near the Brown’s Lehi, Utah, home tells In Touch. “It is no wonder that the teenagers of the Sister Wives family are rebelling. They are living in a surreal world where they are being told that it’s natural and wonderful for a man to have several wives,” Beverly Hills celebrity psychiatrist Dr. Carole Lieberman tells HollyBaby.com.

Other locals agree that the teenage members of the Brown brood have a tendency to rebel. Madison, a pretty brunette, has began running with a rough crowd of kids. “Her group of friends was caught popping pills in school,” says a source, adding that the 14-year-old tends to hang out with “Goths” and “druggies.” “Some nights she sneaks out to smoke cigarettes and drink alcohol, and her sisters Mykelti and Aspyn have covered for her.” HollyMoms, what would you do if your daughter started sneaking out and developing unhealthy habits?

Dr. Lieberman tells HollyBaby.com that she isn’t surprised that the kids are behaving badly and she’s placing blame on the parents. “The wives are in denial and are extremely damaging role-models for their daughters. They are teaching their daughters that they are not worth much, either — and that no man will love them,” she explains. “The daughters are being self-destructive because their mothers have thrust them into a soul-damaging lifestyle. Each additional wife stirs up jealousies and resentments, plunging them into darker despair.”

It looks like Mykelti, 13, is also following in her big sister’s footsteps. “She dyed her hair bright red a few weeks ago. It looks absolutely ridiculous,” says the neighbor, who is quick to point out that the teen goes out in public in short-shorts and sexy clothing, even in cold weather!

Are Kody and his wives hurting their kids?

Dr. Lieberman says this is a classic cry for attention. “The daughters’ rebellion is a cry for help, a plea to be noticed and recognized for their own feelings — which are really at odds with their family. They are being forced to pretend for the cameras that they love — or at least accept – living in a polygamous family. But, deep down they know that it is very sick.”

We suggest the Brown’s forget about another season of their reality show, kick the cameras out of their house and put the spotlight back on parenting. Do you agree?

Kody & Robyn’s wedding might not be the last we see of the Browns! Would YOU watch a second season of Sister Wives?

We hope you’re a fan of Kody Brown and his polygamist brood, because we’ve learned that TLC has been in talks with the stars of Sister Wives regarding a second season renewal! “A second season has been discussed, but nothing has been decided,” a source close to the Brown family tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “There have always been discussions for a second part to the series.”

The source points out that, while a second season is likely, a formal sit-down between the network executives and the family has yet to take place.

As for whether or not the ongoing bigamy investigation could affect TLC’s decision to renew the series, our source tells us: “I think TLC is concerned for the family. It would be up to how TLC would feel about it.”

The wives #1 Meri, #2 Janelle. #3 Christine and #4 Robyn, relentlessly kept to their script — that they love the companionship of three other wives and 16 kids.

“It’s wanting the sisterhood, the companionship. It’s more than just a life with one guy,” wife #3 Christine asserted, explaining their life / love choice.

“This makes you stronger, it rubs off your rough spots,” insisted another wife.

While wife #3 Christine was the most aggressive about defending their decision to live in a polygamist family, you couldn’t help feeling a little like” the lady doth protest too much.”

Somehow the prospect that you wouldn’t have to make the entire Christmas dinner yourself — “it’s fun to do it all together” — and that there’s always someone to babysit the kids, didn’t really sound like a convincing enough reason to only have a quarter of your husbands’ time.

The Browns revealed that  husband Kody has a sleep schedule. Inside their giant house, the wives each have their own individual apartment for themselves and their own kids.

“We each have one bedroom and Kody is welcome in each one- ALONE !’ one wife insisted.

Each wife has one on one monogamous sex with Kody. Some key questions that Oprah didn’t ask: What if he is tired one night and can’t perform- does the wife of that night get upset? Can she get a ‘do IT -over?’

What if one wife is ovulating and wants to get pregnant, but it’s not her night with Kody?- Can she switch nights? What if she isn’t in the mood and it’s her night- can she switch?

Does Kody ever get tired of satisfying four women? How does he cope when his four wives are all PMSing at once? Do the wives NEVER fight? Doesn’t that seem abnormal? Does no one ever take “sides?

Oprah didn’t touch ANY of these biggies. What we did find out is that all the existing wives have to like an incoming wife and sign off on her joining the marriage. If they didn’t agree “it wouldn’t just be difficult,” Kody wisely pointed out, “It would be HELL!”

I came away from Oprah’s interview with the impression that wife #1, Meri,  is a long-suffering masochist. She introduced Kody to wife #2 Janelle and INITIATED the relationship with wife #4, Robyn. She actually gave Kody the idea that he should MARRY Robyn. “When we left that night (the one Kody met Robyn at Meri’s cousin’s house) I said ‘we might be thinking about it.”

Is she nuts? Maybe, she is.

She’s also the only one to sincerely admit to jealousies and the only one to lose her job since her polygamist lifestyle has become public.

“I worked in the mental health community and losing my job actually made me really sad because I loved my job,” Meri admitted and started to cry on the show.

I had to wonder if she somehow had some weird guilt because she suffered from infertility and has produced only one daughter for Kody. Is she like Abraham’s first infertile wife Sarah, who gave Abraham her handmaidens to produce children for him?

It wouldn’t surprise me since so much is weird about this clan.

But one thing that all the Browns admit to – they sincerely believe in a double standard. One woman having four husbands is NOT acceptable to them- “That’s not something we believe in,”  they said. Though Oprah didn’t press them on why.

My jury is still out on whether Kody actually has a good deal. He doesn’t seem to be a super hands-on dad to his 13 children and 3 step-children. Each mother appears to substantially raise her own kids.

He certainly gets to have sex with four different women. But these women, especially wife #3, are pretty assertive.

Even if he’s horny, I think he’s still henpecked!
