Johnny’s tied up! Romance is in the air for Captain Jack Sparrow! Mermaids kiss sailors — and so much more!

Looking for an action-packed movie that’s good for the whole family? Johnny Depp is back — this time with Penélope Cruz — in the fourth installment of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. And it’s the best one yet!

While the first three were fab, but maybe a tad bit too long, On Stranger Tides is cut to the perfect amount of time — and it keeps you wondering what’s going to happen next. From fairytale magic and romance to betrayal and battles, this movie has it all!

Here are my five reasons why you MUST go see Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides when it drops in theaters on May 20:

1. Johnny Depp’s physically tied up! He’s simply dreamy — there’s no other way to put it. If you haven’t fanaticized about him before, you definitely will after seeing Johnny’s arms bound.

2. Taste of romance. Johnny’s character Captain Jack Sparrow finally falls in love. Who would have thought it possible? But he does — only you’ll have to watch to find out if the object of his affection returns the feelings.

3. Magic is everywhere. Can a mermaid walk on land? Can she save a sailor’s life? Is her tear the special ingredient needed to activate a potion? All these questions are answered.

4. Battles are fought. Pirates stage a mutiny against Captain Blackbeard, but his ghost ship retaliates to protect him. Does Blackbeard save his title as captain of the Queen Anne’s Revenge?

5. Lies and deception. Blackbeard has a daughter named Angelica who loves him unconditionally, but does he feel the same in respect to his daughter? When it comes to a life or death, who will Blackbeard pick, himself or his daughter, to live?

Make sure you have your tickets to opening night because this is a flick that you just can’t miss!

Penelope Cruz is soaking up the spotlight while promoting her latest flick, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides — and considering she has a fabulous post-baby bod and a slew of stylish get-ups, who can blame her?

While we’ve seen her in edgy gowns and conservative chic get-ups, the star opted for an elegant Armani Prive gown, complete with floral lace sleeves for the Madrid premiere on May 18 — and she put her ample cleavage on full display! Considering the long black gown had sleeves, she was showing off just the right amount.

With all of the gorgeous gowns we’ve seen on Penelope, it’s hard to pick a favorite — although this is definitely a top contender! Do you agree?

The new mom was game to sword fight — even with a baby on board!

Penélope Cruz has been looking glamorous at screenings of her new blockbuster Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, but she almost didn’t get a chance to make the movie when she found out she was pregnant!

Penélope, 37, told director Rob Marshall she was expecting just a week before filming started, Parade reports.

“We were like, uhhhhh,” he said. “I said, ‘Are you going to be okay sword fighting with a baby in your stomach?’ But she was up for it. She said she’d understand if we had to replace her, but she didn’t want to be replaced. It took more time, ultimately, but she was worth it.”

We’re glad she muscled through the production — she’s such a strong woman. And we’re sure her husband Javier Bardem and her newborn Leo Encinas will be thrilled to watch Penélope in action!

Yup, there were some “strange tides” on the high seas of the Pirates of the Caribbean set. Penelope Cruz, 36, might not be pregnant anymore, but when she was, she faced a bit of a potty problem. Hey, when you gotta go, you gotta go! Especially when you have a baby pressing up against your bladder!

“Rob [Marshall] and Johnny [Depp] and Jerry Bruckheimer all really took care of me and made all the changes that were necessary to have total safety,” Penélope explains to Entertainment Weekly. “But they left Johnny and I on a deserted island with no bathrooms to do a helicopter shot. That for a pregnant woman can be a little bit of a problem.”

“So for those few hours I had to keep going into the water every 15 minutes,” Penelope says with a laugh. “That was one of those things that you remember forever.”

Penelope Cruz looks like she’s ready to pop, but that didn’t stop her from doing a little holiday shopping in rainy West Hollywood yesterday (Dec. 22). The expectant mom, beautifully dressed in a blush-colored blouse and black pants, browsed around the Ed Hardy boutique on Melrose Ave. Perhaps she was picking out something for her husband, actor Javier Bardem, whom she married in the Bahamas in July.

The 36-year-old Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides star is due to give birth to her first child this winter. And it seems that she and Javier, 41, are planning to have a big family. “I want to have my own kids, but also adopt. For a while I’ve had the feeling that my life won’t be complete if I don’t adopt. I think I would be a perfect mother. I love babies,” she says. “Maybe I’ll adopt about 20 children.”

Penelope Cruz, 36, and Javier Bardem, 41, cuddled up close while roaming the London streets for a place to grab some lunch. The six-months pregnant mom-to-be was being carefully watched over by her doting hubby, and of course she didn’t mind! She held tightly onto his hand and bundled up next to him as they strolled on the sidewalk. How romantic! The actress looked maternity chic in her all-black ensemble — including a trench and comfy Ugg boots!

The newlyweds, who married in a private Caribbean ceremony in July, announced in September that Penelope was expecting their first child. They are currently in London as Penelope shoots scenes for the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie On Stranger Tides. But there has been some trouble on the set, considering Penelope’s rapidly expanding bump is preventing her from fitting into her tight pirate costumes!

The costume crew is having trouble hiding the actress’ bump, so they have enlisted her sister, Monica — who looks almost identical — to shoot the long-distance scenes while Penelope shoots the close-ups! Ah, nothing like trying to squeeze yourself into a wardrobe that cuts off your circulation! At least Penelope gets to star alongside the hunky Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow– she gets to spend time with two gorgeous men each day — one at work and one at home! Lucky girl!
