Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard welcomed a new baby girl, Gloria Ray, when she gave birth in New York on April 19, US Weekly reports.

The couple has been married for three years and have been together since 2002. The mom-of-two and her hubby, 41, already have a five-year-old daughter Ramona.

The 34-year-old mommy kept her second pregnancy under wraps until her second trimester.

“I find it difficult to pretend you’re not pregnant, which I had to do. I didn’t let anyone know until three and a half months this time. I went to film festivals. I’m throwing up in the bathroom and having to keep pretzels in my purse, and having to fit into dresses,” she told USA Today.

Congratulations, Maggie & Peter! We can’t wait to meet your little one!

Actress Maggie Gyllenhaal and her husband, actor Peter Sarsgaard, are having their second daughter in late spring, according to People.

The newcomer will join big sister Ramona, 5. Although she’s far along now, Maggie was able to keep her pregnancy under wraps for many months.

“I find it difficult to pretend you’re not pregnant, which I had to do,” she admits. “I didn’t let anyone know until three and a half months this time. I went to film festivals. I’m throwing up in the bathroom and having to keep pretzels in my purse, and having to fit into dresses.”

Maggie and Peter plan to keep other details — including her due date — quiet until the birth.

What a rare treat to see these two ladies out and about! Despite the frigid temperatures in the Big Apple, both Maggie Gyllenhaal and her 4-year-old daughter with Peters Sarsgaard, Ramona, were all smiles and all bundled up for a stroll through their Brooklyn neighborhood yesterday (December 9).

The Broderick boys braved the chilly NYC weather too — on bikes!

It’s nice to see that the chilly weather doesn’t stop Maggie and Ramona from flashing big smiles at the camera! Well, it is the most wonderful time of the year! Especially now that Ramona has a new friend — her uncle Jake‘s love interest, Taylor Swift! What little girl wouldn’t love a buddy like Taylor? We hope to see a lot more of Maggie and her pretty little lady out and about soon!

With Maggie Gyllenhaal as her mother, actor Peter Sarsgaard as her dad and Jake Gyllenhaal as her uncle, it’s no shocker three-year-old Ramona Sarsgaard understands the ins and outs of the film industry. Ramona even gets that her mom is nominated for a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her role as a journalist who falls for a musician in Crazy Heart. Kudos, kid!

“Well, she’s three,” Maggie, 32, explained exclusively to HollywoodLife.com Feb. 16 at the AARP the Magazine’s Movies For Grownups Awards Gala in Beverly Hills. “She understands some of it…Because people come up and say they’ve seen it and they like it and she just keeps saying, ‘Mom, what’s Crazy Heart?’ So she knows a little bit.”

But it isn’t only Ramona that’s supportive of Maggie. Although hubby Peter, 38, didn’t get an Oscar nod for his role in An Education, Maggie said he’s her biggest champion, telling her, “I feel like I was nominated when you were nominated.” Naturally, she feels the same way. “I really understand what he means, I would have felt that way were it the other way around.”
