Kanye West totally has Kim Kardashian‘s back. She went on the Today show on April 6 to defend her decision to wear fur, and her new guy is right there with her!

In Kanye’s new song, he disses the animal rights organization with the lyrics, “Tell PETA my mink is dragging on the floor.” He’s totally being flagrant about his fur-wearing, and he’s attacking PETA for lashing out at Kim!

On the Today show, Kim said she thinks it’s “odd” that an organization whose message is non-violence toward animals would assault a person. Kanye obviously thinks PETA is being hypocritical too!

The fact that Kanye is publicly standing up for Kim — like a real man should! —  is a sure sign these two are more serious than Kim is letting on.

Kim Kardashian always looks good in white — even when she doesn’t mean to wear it! While walking the red carpet at West Hollywood’s London Hotel on March 22, a crazed woman approached her and doused her in flour. But did Kim totally freak out?

No! Eyewitnesses tell TMZ she simply left the red carpet, removed her jacket, cleaned herself up, and rejoined the guests at her event.

Though the attacker reportedly called Kim a “fur hag,” PETA tells the site they had nothing to do with the incident. They are, however, glad it happened.

“PETA has tried everything from polite letters to public protests, but Kim Kardashian has not been moved by the news that animals are beaten, electrocuted, and even skinned alive for real fur garments,” the company said in a statement. “Whoever threw that flour may reach her when our polite appeals did not.”

Kim tweeted, “Thx everyone who came last nite 2 support my new perfume True Reflection & the amazing women from Dress 4 Success! Last nite was eventful.”

Her mom also responded to the flour bomb, writing, “”I am so proud of my daughter for handling the situation last night so professionally and with such poise!”

We have to say we’re really proud of Kim for keeping her cool in this situation. Even though it was only flour, she easily could have gotten scared and flipped out — we sure would have! This incident just goes to show that, no matter what the world throws at Kim, she’s got it all under control.

Olivia Munn is wicked hot, and we’re so glad she decided to go nude in her latest campaign for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals!

Olivia, 31, debuted a new billboard — featuring all of her curves alongside a super-cute bunny — which reads, “Who Needs Fur To Feel Beautiful?”

“When you think about even that little tiny trim of fur on your gloves or on your collar, that is still coming from an animal that had to endure so much pain just for you,” she said in a press release. “There’s nothing good about pretending like you don’t know.”

About a year ago PETA zeroed in on Janet Jackson after she designed a fur collection for Blackglama — and now they’re back to slamming the star, ‘awarding’ her the first-ever ‘PETA Grinch of the Year‘ title stating, “When Janet Jackson had her infamous “wardrobe malfunction” during the Super Bowl, at least the flesh that popped into view was her own—unlike the stolen animal skins that she drapes herself with, which are as dead as her taste in fashion (not to mention her career). Ms. Jackson, you’re just plain nasty.” While the organization means well, does slamming and shaming stars really work?

Also on the list was Kim Kardashian, who recently came under attack a few months ago. PETA stated, “Some have speculated that Kim Kardashian’s wedding to NBA forward Kris Humphries was fake. Too bad the socialite princess doesn’t have the same enthusiasm for faking her fur. Unlike her sweet sister Khloe, who starred in her own PETA anti-fur ad, Kim just can’t seem to divorce herself from fur and say “I do” to a kind and kompassionate wardrobe.”

While I definitely understand where PETA is coming from,the fact that they’re blatantly attacking stars with harsh comments doesn’t seem like an effective method for the cause they’re fighting. I don’t know about you, but I think their time, energy and resources are better spent educating individuals, not slamming stars — simply because it doesn’t look like it’s leading to any change, and that’s the ultimate goal. For those of you who watch Keeping Up With the Kardashians, I’m sure you remember when Khloe Kardashian famously stripped down for PETA. Khloe was horrified after watching a video expose filmed inside of fur farms — but it looks like her big sis Kim Kardashian didn’t have the same reaction, and PETA has definitely singled her out! Fur was a huge trend on the fall 2011 runways, and we’re seeing the trend on a slew of celebs, including Kim — but I doubt she expected to find herself on PETA’s latest billboard.

The sign, which features the reality star and foxes, reads “Kim: These Babies Miss Their Mother. Is She on Your Back?” PETA Senior Vice President Lisa Lange defended the message saying,”Kim knows that animals on fur farms are beaten, electrocuted, and often skinned alive. We’ve explained it to her, and she’s watched a video exposé that was filmed inside fur farms.”

By posting the billboard, PETA is hoping Kim plans to “divorce herself from fur and say “I do” to a more compassionate wardrobe,” but do you think they’re going about it in the right way?

Fur is definitely a controversial topic, especially right now when it’s so popular, but do you think it’s right for the organization to point a finger at Kim when she isn’t the only celeb wearing fur? It looks like Kim is dealing with a bunch of backlash and has certainly fallen from her reality star-pedestal, due to her personal life and decisions — but do you think she deserves to have a big billboard dedicated to her wardrobe choices?

Pink is pissed! The singer took to Twitter to speak out against two horses being painted for what appears to be a Selena Gomez music video!

“If there are any animal activists around Malibu- at Leo Cabrillo State Beach, there are horses being painted for a stupid music video,” Pink tweeted yesterday, “Shame.”

Could the ‘stupid music video’ be referring to Selena Gomez and her crew filming on the beach yesterday with two lavender-colored horses?!

What will PETA-supporter boy-toy Justin Bieber think of this?! Not much, if Selena’s people played by the rules. According to E! Online, the American Humane Society’s guidelines okay the painting of animals, as long as nontoxic paint is used and the animal is checked for allergic reactions before production.

Apparently that’s not enough for animal-rights supporter Pink who went on to tweet, “Artists should be more aware and responsible for their actions.”

The “Raise Your Glass” singer is a vegetarian and even named her child after a vegan whiskey!

Apparently Pink didn’t even know it was Selena’s music video when she first tweeted about it, but learned quickly once Selena’s Twitter fans started defending the Disney starlet. Pink’s response? “oh lord, THAT’S whose video it was? Disney fans unite. here we go.”

The feud has sparked a Twitter war between fans of the two singers, but Pink’s not backing down. “whether u r a fan of mine or whomEVER’S, i won’t stop speaking out about animal cruelty.,” Pink tweeted today,”i’ve taken responsibility in the past,so should she.” You tell ‘em, sister!

Justin Bieber’s calling all pet lovers to ‘adopt from your local shelter!’ He doesn’t want any more pups, like his own precious Sam, to have to be put down!

Don’t you just love cuddly puppies? Well so does Justin Bieber! Justin has partnered up with PETA for the second time to help encourage animal lovers to adopt their pets from shelters instead of buying them from breeders or pet stores.

“It’s really important that people adopt,” Justin says. “I really encourage going out to an animal shelter or a place where you can get a dog who has been abandoned or doesn’t have a home.”

“Every year, 6 to 8 million abandoned or stray dogs and cats enter animal shelters—and half of them must be euthanized because of a lack of good homes,” says PETA . “Justin wants his fans to know that buying a dog or a cat from a pet store or a breeder takes a home away from a deserving animal waiting in a shelter for a loving family.”

Justin even has pup himself! “I have a dog named Sam — a papillon,” Justin shares. “We moved to a city where I didn’t really know anybody and I wanted a friend around. Sam was kind of like that friend.”

Lea says carriage horses in NYC are treated unfairly! Here are the facts from the other side of the story!

Lea Michele may be leading a PETA campaign against the unfair treatment of carriage horses in NYC, but the Horse and Carriage Association of NYC says the 24-year-old Glee star doesn’t have a clue what she’s talking about! “Come see us,” a representative for the association tells HollywoodLife.com. “She doesn’t even know. Her recent video that she put up is just filled with lies!”

Horses are limited to nine hours of work per day, the rep explains. There are two shifts each day and a horse is only allowed to work for one of those shifts.

Horses also get a five-week break during the year at which time they’re turned out to pasture in the country. If these regulations aren’t met, carriage drivers face up to $2,000 in fines enforced by five organizations — the NYC Department of Health, NYC Department of Consumer Affairs, ASPCA, NYPD, and NYC Department of Parks & Recreation.

Despite what Lea claims, the rep says horses aren’t tied to their troughs in their stalls when they’re off-duty.

“The fact is that there’s no tie-end stalls, there’s box stalls,” the rep clarifies.

The rep says the stables provide adequate comfort for the horses: “My stable, which houses 76 horses, has automatic drinkers,  oscillating fans, and sprinkler systems on them for the summer time.” He also says barns are equipped with sprinkler systems in case of a fire — and they’re NOT run-down tenement buildings like Lea claims.

“Every stable in this city has been built as a stable at one point or another,” the rep assures us.
