Peaches Geldof, 25, has likely died of a heroin overdose, according to a new report from police on May 1. This tragedy is eerily similar to her own mother’s accidental death just 14 years earlier.
After Peaches Geldof died suddenly on April 6, many people were quick to speculate that she died of a drug overdose, as her mother, Paula Yates, did in 2000. But a family friend, Gerry Agar, says that Peaches actually had another troubling thing in common with her late mother: eating issues. “I was worried about [Peaches’] weight loss,” Gerry says in a revealing new interview.
This tragedy continues to get more and more sad. The last photo that Peaches Geldof posted on Instagram before her death was a throwback of her as a little girl with her mother, broadcaster and writer Paula Yates. Paula passed away when Peaches was only 11 after depression had taken over her and she had turned to drugs.
Haven’t heard of Peaches Geldof yet? Oh, you will. 20-year-old Peaches, the daughter of British music producer Bob Geldof and deceased TV personality Paula Yates, has been a very, very bad girl this month.
Peaches (born with the mouthful of a moniker Peaches Honeyblossom Michelle Charlotte Angel Vanessa Geldof) is trying to one up Lindsay Lohan’s infamous 2007 photo scandal, where she held a knife up to Vanessa Minnillo’s throat, by posting photos of herself holding a toy gun to a friend’s head on Twitter.
