Now that the 10th anniversary of Wet Hot American Summer is upon us, talk of a sequel to the 2001 cult classic comedy is hotter than ever. But rather than wait for the movie to happen (or not), HollywoodLife.com went straight to Paul Rudd to find out what he thinks his character, the ever-faithful Andy, would be up to today. “We did a thing in Wet Hot where they interviewed us ’10 years from now,’ and … I remember saying my character worked for the city,” he told us Aug. 23 at the NYC premiere of The Weinstein Company’s Our Idiot Brother, hosted by The Cinema Society and Altoids.

“I’d had a mishap where I cut off part of my toe, but it was very cryptic,” Paul continued. “[Andy] probably got some money from that.”

So there you have it. Andy may be missing a piece of his foot, but why would he need to walk correctly when he can spend all his time rolling around in piles of money?

Paul doesn’t leave the slapstick humor on set, he definitely brings it home and it sounds like his kids have a blast!

Picture this: Paul Rudd running around his NYC digs doing silly dances in his underwear. No that’s not his idea of a fun Saturday night it’s what he does to entertain his son Jack, 6, and daughter Darby, 1. The Cinema Society & Altoids hosted a screening of The Weinstein Company’s new film Our Idiot Brother and HollyBaby.com got a chance to find out what Paul does that’s truly hysterical!

“I do a lot of dancing, silly dances,” Paul laughs. “If I can walk around in my underwear and pull it up super high so it’s just gross looking and then try and be very serious with them. I like to do that … pretend to be very mad and have my underwear hiked up … really high.”

Paul and his wife Julie split their time between NYC’s Greenwich Village and a house in upstate New York’s countryside. Check out the film when it hits theaters Aug. 26 — trust us when we say it’ll have you thinking maybe your baby sibling isn’t as absent-minded as you thought!

And HollywoodLife.com‘s snagged the recipe for the cocktail, which had party-goers humming all night long!

Paul Rudd, Rashida Jones, Elizabeth Banks, and Olivia Munn were among the 400 party-goers who attended the blowout bash, held at the Mondrian Hotel’s SkyBar in West Hollywood on Aug. 16.

One of the specialty cocktails served was “Ned’s Juice”, a delicious combination of Purity Vodka, fresh lemon juice, agave nectar and muddled strawberries. Another cocktail, “The Idealist”, was acombination of Purity Vodka, fresh lemon juice and sparkling soda water. And then there’s the “Purity Southside,” ablend of Purity Vodka, fresh lime juice and cucumber infused with mint leaves.

These drinks are delicious!  Check out the recipes below so YOU can try them yourself HollywoodLifers!

Ned’s Juice:

• 2 oz Purity VodkaE

• 1 oz lemon juice

• .5 oz agave nectar

• 4-5 fresh strawberries

• Muddle strawberries with lemon juice and agave , add Purity and ice,
  shake and strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass. Garnish with a strawberry

Purity Southside:

• 2 oz Purity Vodka

• 1 oz lime juice

• .75 simple sugar

• 4-5 mint leaves

• Muddle cucumber (or infuse it in the vodka with the mint) add remaining ingredients and shake. Garnish with cucumber slice skewered with mint

The Idealist:

• 2 oz Purity

• 1 oz fresh lemon juice
• .75 oz simple syrup
• 2 oz soda water
• Add all ingredients except soda water into a shaker with ice and shake until cold. Strain over fresh ice in a Collins glass and top with soda. Garnish with a lemon (twist, wheel, or wedge).

Elizabeth Banks often plays a comedic character, but she looked like an Oscar-worthy star with her beautiful 40′s side-swept hair at the premiere of her latest film, Our Idiot Brother, on August 16 in LA. While the star looked stunning, pinning her hair back as to not interfere with the dress, there’s no denying the fact that it definitely isn’t an easy look to pull off! Do you think she did?

While I wouldn’t advise anyone to run out and purchase this get-up, I think it actually works really well on the star, and Zooey managed to pull it off. I commend her for taking such a bold risk! She finished off the look with a pair of YSL Trib Too’s.
