Not only does she have a knack for putting together the perfect combo, but she also isn’t afraid to mix her designer duds with affordable and attainable finds — and considering everything she wears looks so luxe she’s obviously doing a fantastic job!

When the star stepped out over the weekend, she kept it casual but still seized the opportunity to flaunt one of the season’s hottest trends — the midi skirt! She paired her pleated metallic Topshop skirt with a tank and added a pop of color to her ensemble with a purple jacket. She finished off the get-up with statement gold jewelry and flats.

Olivia Palermo stepped out for the opening of Talent Store in Italy on Oct. 20, where she sported this boho look. Olivia wore Tibi’s ‘Easy’ blouse from the Fall 2011 collection with a Markus Lupfer midi-skirt.

There are definitely a lot of different colors and prints mixed together in this look, but we’re not exactly sure if this is boho-chic or just too much. Mixing patterns is one thing, but the fur vest then calls the proportions into question! All in all, it’s just too busy for my taste, but what do you think?

Want spectacular views of NYC on the ultimate rooftop? You’re in luck because HollywoodLife.com attended the Cinema Society & Grey Goose premiere of Liv Tyler‘s new film The Ledge on June 21 and the after party was held at PH-D inside the Dream Downtown. Trust us when we say the name really says it all!

PH-D is on the rooftop of the hotel and the 360 degree views of Manhattan’s skyline are breathtaking. The hotel is located right above NYC’s Meatpacking District which is known for its constant nightlife and party atmosphere. This little gem is tucked right next to The Maritime Hotel and is luxury hotel owner Vikram Chatwal‘s vision.

The hotel boasts a gorgeous and very modern interior. The pool has a glass-bottom and its own mini beach — the perfect way to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. We told you about the roof-top nightclub but did we mention it’s open until 4 AM!

We spent the evening mingling with Liv, her co-star Patrick Wilson, Kellan Lutz, Stephen Baldwin, Olivia Palermo, and David Schwimmer among many other A-listers. But a party isn’t complete without the ultimate cocktail in hand! We enjoyed Grey Goose cocktails and there was even an official Grey Goose mixologist on-hand to create delicious concoctions for everyone!

This is the ultimate venue for a quick drink, night on the town or just a spectacular view!
