Not only is the star conscious of what she wears, but she can also appreciate a good buy — after all, her Old Navy faux-shearling vest retails for just $29.

While Olivia may be showing off a bargain buy, she still manages to look casual and chic — would you have ever thought her vest was under $50? If you want to work the trend, I recommend taking a cue from Olivia. Pairing it with high boots and a roomy shoulder bag is the best way to rock the look during the day — you’ll look effortless while still staying warm and comfortable! If you’re going out and dressing casual, it would also work well with a pair of jeans, a blouse, and boots or pumps — just make sure to tuck in your top and add a belt so that the look doesn’t seem too baggy!

Olivia Munn turned up for the QVC runway show on Sept. 10 and we got the chance to exclusively chat with the talented star, where she shared the best style advice she was ever given. While most people consult their girlfriends, sister, or mother, the star is lucky to site designer Carolina Herrera!

“Carolina Herrera was dressing me for an event and she said, ‘Never wear something just because everyone else is telling you to wear it. If you don’t feel comfortable, you’ll never look good — no matter how pretty is it, no matter how many times people tell you you’re pretty if you don’t feel comfortable. Your face and your body are a part of the wardrobe,’” she said.

Olivia, who said she pays attention to tailored detailing, admitted that she wasn’t always a red carpet pro — she had her own personal fashion blunder growing up, just like us! “I hated becoming a woman. For a long time I would wear these long t-shirts because I just wanted to look like a kid but after a while my mom was like, ‘Ok,’ and dragged me to a department store and said, ‘You’re wearing a bra!’”

We think it’s so refreshing to see Olivia open up about the awkward time in her life — and we’re loving her current red carpet style!
