New York City got a little taste of Mystic Falls this past weekend when The Vampire Diaries stars Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev touched down in the Big Apple, but the two had bigger fish to fry than Klaus. Nina made an appearance at the Puma store in NYC’s Union Square to support the company’s breast cancer campaign Project Pink, while Ian — of course — had planet-saving on the brain.

“What a perfect weekend!” Nina tweeted Oct. 2, once all was said and done. “Fun. Spontaneous. Yummy. Inspiring. It could not have been better. Not a single complaint!”

And it sounds like Ian also enjoyed his brief stint in the city. “Brilliant day in NY,” he tweeted. “Great brunch with a brother,evening with close friends talking, art, commerce and sustainability-love this place.Miss it.”

Sheryl Crow and her adopted sons Wyatt, 4, and Levi, 1, were spotted out and about in New York’s East Village yesterday, July 12, trying to hail a cab. Luckily though, Wyatt came to his country crooning mommy‘s rescue!

Sheryl, 49, has her tiny tots in tow as she tours the country with Kid Rock for the summer!

“It’s great!” Sheryl says of taking Wyatt and Levi road trippin’. “It’s just fun for me to have them around all the time. They are the people I love most and they’re teaching me everyday what life really is all about.”

AW! Could Sheryl be the most amazing single mom ever? We think so.

It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s Super Seal! The musician daddy, his wife Heidi Klum and Heidi’s mom Ema took the four Samuel kiddies — Leni, 7, Henry, 5, Johan, 4, and Lou, 1 — to a Manhattan park today, June 23, despite the rainy, muggy weather. Now that’s play time dedication!

Henry and Leni grabbed on tight and went for a swing on their dad’s buff arms! Wow, that’s strength.

The Klum-Samuels have been chilling in the Big Apple over the past week while Heidi works on her Summer Run program with AOL and films Project Runway. The family will be heading to Italy soon for a nice summer vacation!

Jennifer Aniston walked around NYC June 21 wearing a sheer Michael Kors sarong that looked a little more beach-goer than city-stroller! But with a pilates-toned body like that, we don’t think there were any complaints, especially from boyfriend Justin Theroux!
The lovebirds took their romance to the Big Apple last week, where they were seen wearing matching gold rings! Could Jen have finally found the right guy for her after her string of bad-boy bachelors since her divorce from Brad Pitt in 2005?  She thinks so!

The Wanderlust co-stars are now living together in Jen’s LA pad after only a few months of dating. Even though Jen just bought some real estate of her own in NYC, the couple is staying at the apartment Justin shared with his former girlfriend of 14 years, Heidi Bivens. The two broke up when Justin finished filming Wanderlust, but Heidi apparently only moved out a few weeks ago.

From the looks of it, Jen is so in love, she doesn’t care if her skirt is see-through!

The Brooklyn Diner which has two locations in NYC currently, one in Midtown and the other in Times Square, is by far the best diner around! The look is of an authentic 50s era diner with a lot of playfulness, with the waiters dressed in formal wear and the walls being covered with gold nameplates of their customers.

From their famous Chicken Noodle Soup, to the 15 Bite Brooklyn Diner Hot Dog, all of the dishes are classic American food with a great twist! Don’t you love the idea of taking something so simple and making it into something much more? I’m not the only one who loves this idea, celebs like Jerry Seinfeld, Adam Sandler, and Sir Paul McCarteney are HUGE fans too!

Overall, it’s great spot to cool down after a long week with friends, and you might even run into one of their celebrity regulars!

We’ve heard rumblings of Jennifer Aniston apartment-hunting in New York City for months, and now we finally have photos of what just might be her new east coast digs! According to E! Online, Jen is close to plunking down $5.9 million on a 1,200-square foot apartment in NYC’s West Village — and funnily enough, it’s only a few blocks away from the building used for exterior shots on Friends.

The apartment, reportedly on the 18th floor of a pre-war building, also has an 800-square foot terrace with a 360-degree view of the New York Harbor and Empire State Building.

E! Online recalls an interview Jen did with Good Morning America‘s Robin Roberts, in which she said, “I’ve been looking and looking and looking [for the right apartment.] I grew up here. I miss it. There’s nothing like being in the city of Everyman.

Her rep will neither confirm nor deny whether Jen has purchased the pricey new pad.

After everything you’ve been through – a stint in jail, 5 trips to rehab, and now a new trial for alleged necklace -stealing — has absolutely NOTHING gotten through your stubborn head? Why don’t you realize that if you EVER want a career as an actress again, you have to finally clean up your act for good! That means no more late night clubbing and no more falling down outside of clubs at 2:30 in the am, like you did March 31st, outside of NYC’s Motor City Bar.

Lindsay Lohan, you looked more than a little worse for wear after tumbling on the sidewalk outside of this divey Lower East Side haunt. According to a local bar owner, the Motor City Bar is known as a joint where ” the only exit is a fall.” In other words, even if you weren’t by chance drinking there, virtually every other patron was!

Why would someone who says they are committed to their sobriety, like you claim to be, even put themselves at risk of  falling off the wagon, by hanging out in the midst of  heavy drinkers at a bar. Every addiction specialist, says this is a BIG no no ! And this isn’t the first time you’ve been out clubbing recently. You’ve been doing a full tour of NYC bars and clubs in the past couple of weeks. You were spotted at NYC hotspots Riff Raff’s and Top of the Standard on Mar. 1, according to Page Six , though club-goers said they only saw you clutching your trademark Red Bull those times.

Lindsay, it doesn’t matter that you were dressed in a gorgeous leopard-print coat, the image that will resonate in the minds of Hollywood casting directors is of you  sloppily falling down on the pavement with your cigarettes clutched in your hand — oh, that’s a habit you also have claimed to have given up. Even though you tweeted  ” funny how making a joke can turn into … well, me falling and a story…” that’s one H of a career-killing joke.

Can’t imagine how this sort of behavior is also going to impress the judge who presides over your upcoming trial for allegedly stealing a $2,500 necklace.

It’s amazing that you and those close to you don’t realize that you are out of chances for a comeback. And that you don’t understand the power of a picture. All your efforts to convince us that you were a whole new mature Lindsay, soberly focused on becoming insurable for film roles, have gone poof along with your dignity, on a dirty sidewalk at 2:30 am.

That’s because, after all that, you don’t seem to have learned anything at all!
