What began as an argument over a seat almost cost this woman her baby!

On New York’s L train July 19, a simple argument between two women escalated to a full-on brawl as one’s baby carriage rolled forward off the train and onto the platform! In the video you hear fellow passengers shouting “take care of the baby!” — but they chose to still go at it! What is this mom crazy!?

It appears the mother (in blue) sprayed mace at her opponent (in white). One passenger stayed behind to grab the runaway baby while others fled the train.

When the fight finally breaks up the mother takes her child and leaves, but her opponent wasn’t ready to stop. She tried following her off the train, but was held back and told the police were coming. She continued to say she didn’t care and that she was sprayed with mace.

According to The Daily Mail no police action has been taken. They are looking into the video before investigation.

The baby boy laid amongst rotting trash for TEN HOURS after his mom sent him plummeting several stories into a deadly garbage compactor.

He was eventually saved when maintenance workers on a Brooklyn, New York housing complex heard his cries and pulled him to safety.

Amazingly the infant only survived a grisly death because the compactor was jammed with garbage.

The unnamed boy is in stable condition at Brooklyn Hospital. His 18-year-old mom Laquasia Wright was quickly found and arrested and has been charged with attempted murder.

It happened on May 21, just weeks after another New York mom dumped her newborn in a hospital trash can. That story ended in tragedy — 23-year-old Dawa Lama‘s baby daughter died and the runaway mom is now facing possible murder charges.

Is it a horrible coincidence HollyMoms — or the start of a worrying trend?

Dawa Lama abandoned her baby daughter at a New York hospital, just minutes after she was born.

The tragic tot lost her brave fight for life on May 18. Now prosecutors are considering charging her 23 year old mom with murder.

Dawa Lama claims she ditched her baby after keeping her pregnancy a secret, because she feared her mother would be mad. Now she’s facing far worse consequences.

Dawa was charged with assault by cops who found her sleeping at her Queens home shortly after her daughter was discovered. A grand jury will now have to decide if they can upgrade the charge to murder.

The two-year-old boy is in critical condition following his terrifying tumble from an apartment building in the Bronx, New York.

The unnamed child hit an air conditioning unit and then the awning of a deli, before falling through a tree and landing on the sidewalk below. Amazingly he survived — but how did his parents allow this to happen?

The accident was all captured on film by surveillance video.

Neighbors say the window the toddler fell from DIDN’T have a window guard — a legal requirement in New York — and that the parents were seen arguing about who was to blame while paramedics treated their son. Can you believe it?

Officers are investigating, but charges have yet to be filed.

Broadway has its newest star — a bouncing baby boy who was born in the back of a cab in the heart of the theater district!

Even Sweeney gave birth to little Finn Murray Sweeney in front a of a cheering crowd on the corner of West 51st Street and Seventh Avenue when her speeding cab couldn’t make it from her Brooklyn home to Manhattan’s Roosevelt Hospital in time!

Even’s mad dash began when her contractions started at her Prospect Heights home at 5pm April 20. Her partner Inez Sweeney called a taxi to take them into Manhattan, but Even was already ready to deliver when driver Juan Hernandez arrived.

Inez tells the New York Post, “I looked, and there he was,” referring to little Finn’s crowning head!

Juan put his foot down and called emergency services, who set off to intercept the cab, while Even tried hard to keep little Finn from arriving too soon.

“I was just thinking, ‘How do I keep this baby inside me,’ but you can’t do that,” she says.

“I told the driver to make sure he locked the doors, because I knew I would be kicking them.”

A convoy of cops and paramedics eventually caught up with the maternity ward-on-wheels as Juan steered his cab through Midtown and paramedics Sylvia Farrell and Scott Strong sprang into action, delivering Finn and scooping mother and child into their waiting ambulance.

Mommy and son are now recovering from their dramatic introduction, and they didn’t even have to pay for the taxi — Juan waived the charge!

Katie Holmes and Suri caught a performance of the Broadway musical Wicked before hopping on late-night flight back home. Exhausting!

This is a lot of running around for a growing toddler! Katie Holmes, 32, and her soon-to-be 5-year-old daughter Suri, had another late mommy-daughter date last night, March 16, to catch a performance of Wicked in New York City. Does Suri even sleep?

Although the show started at 8:00 p.m. which is nothing for nocturnal Suri, the duo didn’t leave the theater until around 11:30 p.m. AND THEN hopped a flight out of New York later that evening/morning. We’re hoping Suri got some shut-eye on the plane or she’s going to be one cranky kid!

And aside from lack of sleep, Suri was wearing a lack of warm clothes last night as well. It was a little too chilly in New York for open-toed shoes and bare legs, don’t you think?

How cute! It’s a father and son day in NYC on Thursday (Jan. 20) for Liev Schreiber, 43, and his boys Alexander “Sasha,” 3, and Samuel Kai, 2! The threesome was spotted walking down the streets with Sam on his daddy’s shoulders and little Sasha tagging along beside them. We love that Liev is such a hands-on dad!

While most wealthy New Yorkers travel the city in cabs, cars or limos, Catherine Zeta-Jones and her daughter Carys, 7,  slipped underground yesterday to speed to school on public transport. The Chicago star didn’t even need to worry about being spotted by fellow strap hangers, she was so wrapped up in a long coat, hood, scarf and sunglasses, only an eagle-eyed paparazzo could recognize her.
