During a romantic Parisian vacation, New York Knicks captain, Amar’e Stoudemire, asked his girlfriend and mother of his three children, Alexis Welch, for her hand in marriage June 2.

The two were standing on the private penthouse at the Le Meurice Hotel admiring the view of Eiffel Tower, when Amar’e popped the question, reports Page Six.

“Having Amar’e ask me to marry him while overlooking the Paris skyline seemed like some sort of romantic fantasy,” Alexis gushed. “Amar’e put so much care and thought into every detail to make it special for us. We are truly blessed!”

Celebrity jeweler Shayan Afshar designed Alexis’ giant diamond ring. “I have been planning my proposal for a while, and [Paris] … seemed like a perfect place,” Amar’e revealed. “I am so happy she said yes, and now we can continue to build our life together as husband and wife.”

Kim’s ready to move from LA to NYC to be with Kris — but Kim’s BFF LaLa warns, ‘Don’t think it’s all going to be perfect!’

Kim Kardashian is getting pretty serious about her NBA beau of six months, Kris Humphries! So serious in fact that she was spotted looking at engagement rings in NYC and has been talking about moving to the city so that she can be close to Kris. They’re on the fast track to be newlyweds quite soon — and Kim’s good friend LaLa Vazquez thinks they are the perfect couple!

“I think that they’re an amazing match,” LaLa tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively at Starburst’s VH1 Save The Music Foundation’s Songwriter Music Series in NYC at the Hard Rock Cafe on May 16. “She’s in a relationship where she’s happy. I think Chris is a great guy, and that’s what’s important to me. If my friend is happy, I’m happy.”

LaLa, who is married to a New York Knicks player Carmelo Anthony, just made the move from Los Angeles to NYC just like Kim is planning to do. Because of this, LaLa shares some advice with us that may help Kim adjust to her soon-to-be new home.

“Just know that it’s tough,” warns LaLa. “Anytime you pick up and move from one coast to another, it’s tough.”

“But everything in NYC is accessible to you so, you’ll make it happen,” says LaLa. “What I’m learning is you have to allow yourself time for the transition and not think that it’s all going to be perfect in like a week. Like my apartment — we just moved so we’re getting settled in — and I want it done now! These things take time. I’m learning patience and slowly things are starting to come together.”

LaLa couldn’t be happier that Kim and Kris are so serious. “She’s got it all figured out,” says LaLa “They’re amazing. They’re happy. They seem content.”

Biebs receives a less-than-warm welcome at Madison Square Garden.

The on-court rivalry at Madison Square Garden on Feb. 2 was between the Dallas Mavericks and the New York Knicks, but for a minute it seemed like it was the crowd vs. Justin Bieber!

The 16-year-old was put on the jumbotron during the game, and was almost immediately greeted with a chorus of boos and jeers! Justin looked thrilled to be noticed at first, but his face quickly drops as he hears all of the heckling!

Ed and Jessica both enjoyed the New York Knicks play the Boston Celtics in NYC Dec. 15, but they sat separately and did not leave together!

It appears that the Upper East Side’s most notorious on-again, off-again couple my have called it quits again! Gossip Girl stars and real life couple Jessica Szohr and Ed Westwick were both out on the town Dec. 15, but seemed to be avoiding one another at all costs! Page Six reports, “The Gossip Girl co-stars were seated separately at the Knicks game Wednesday night and then left separately. He sat under the basket with a guy friend and she sat center-court with a girlfriend.” That seems odd for a couple!

Ed was also spotted out after the game, but not with Jessica. “Later in the evening, Westwick was seen at SL sharing a table with a mystery blonde. After whispers and deep eye contact, the two left the table together and didn’t return.”

From the sound of it, Ed and Jessica may be done again — and Ed may have already found a new lady!
