At a scale-busting 600 pounds, Donna Simpson holds the Guinness World Record for ‘World’s Heaviest Mother’ and makes an impressive living from her supersized physique — but she’s about to give it all up.

World’s Heaviest Mom Donna Simpson is ditching her artery-clogging 15,000 calorie-a-day diet after splitting with her long-time fiancé who helped her balloon in size — because she can’t look after her kids Jacqueline and Devin alone.Donna made the announcement on her website, where she earned $90,000 a year charging fans to watch her stuff her face with food.

“I ask that you take your last look at the old Donna,” her statement reads, adding, “I recently split with my fiancé of five years and moved with my two children back to my home town in Ohio.”

“It’s fine to gain weight when you have a partner who will help feed you and take care of everything around you.”

“Now that I have sole responsibility of taking care of my children, I must drastically change my lifesyle.”

“I realize this statement will be met with mixed emotions. The people that admired me as a ‘super-sized big beautiful web model’ probably will be disappointed in this decision.”

No one should be disappointed by her decision to get healthy! It’s great that Donna’s decided to lose the lard, just a shame she didn’t do it before fiancé Philippe Gouamba – who she met on a dating website — walked out on her, forcing her to discover how little she could do for herself.

She has set a target weight of 370 pounds and has already shed 60. Keep up the good work, Donna!

Attention, new moms! You don’t have to give up being a Fashionista just because you are breastfeeding! One mom has solved the problem for you!

From Liz Lange at Target to the various designer denim options like Citizens of Humanity and True Religion at A Pea in the Pod, pregnant women can stay fabulous and fashionable as their baby bump grows!  But, what is out there for those new moms who are looking for style and comfort while breastfeeding? Jamie Rubin, a former news producer for Yahoo and MSNBC, loves her fashion.  And she felt like she had her pick of pretty frocks while she was pregnant, but once her daughter Julian was born, the fabulous options came to a screeching halt.

Nursing a little one left Jamie with no desire to get dressed due to the lack of stylish options. That’s when she came up with her own solution.

“I started Milkstars because I couldn’t find anything to wear after my daughter was born,” Jamie tells HollyBaby.com. “I had really adorable maternity clothes but almost no one was designing for the fashionable new mom. I kept looking at all my clothes and couldn’t figure out why no one had taken the cute and comfortable t-shirts I wore before I was pregnant and made them nursing-accessible.”

A friend of a friend introduced me to a technical designer who worked with bras who gave me a few good ideas, ” says Jamie.  “In about two months I had samples of five styles. Everything took off right then and there. We are now, two years later, in about 100 stores around the globe.”  Wow, that’s one smart mommy!

The line already has a celeb following.  Stars like Kourtney Kardashian, Bethenny Frankel, and Kelly Rutherford have all used Milkstars!

Jessica Ockman of Metairie, Lousiana has been charged with child desertion and other drug-related charges after allegedly leaving her 20-month-old son alone in her car while she went to get high in the gas station’s bathroom. The lifeless body of her best friend, 22-year-old Shelby Fleming, was found in the car next to the toddler, but Ockman is not being charged in connection with her death. How terrible is this?

According to the Daily Mail, Jessica was found unconscious in the restroom by employees at 9am, lying next to a lighter and a spoon. Investigators also found a white plastic box containing marijuana that Ockman had tossed into a nearby garbage.

Ockman was booked at the Jefferson Parish Correctional Centre with child desertion, obstruction of justice, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The toddler was taken to a local hospital for evaluation and neighbors say he is now living with relatives. The death of Ockman’s friend is still under investigation although authorities say it was not the result of a criminal act.

Why was this two months pregnant mom in gang territory in the first place?

Yarelis Carrillo, 20, from Lawrence, Massachusetts is in critical condition after being shot at 1:30 AM on Saturday, May 28, according to the Daily Mail.  The single mother, who is two-months pregnant with her second child, was caught in a serious gang crossfire that resulted in this sole injury. Carrillo was shot above the heart and stopped breathing before being admitted to Massachusetts General Hospital. Terrifying!

Police say the mom was standing in a dark alleyway between two houses at the late hours of the morning when the bullet was fired from a car parked across the street.

Although the situation seems very questionable, police believe that the mother has no connections with the gang and was swept up in the situation by being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

“We believe she was out there, and at some point just got caught in the commotion, and we don’t believe she was an active member in this incident at all,”  Lawrence Police chief, John Romero, told a local news station.

Ms. Carillo’s mother Elizabeth Mercada is hopeful that her daughter and soon-to-be grandchild will make a full recovery. “I have all the church people praying for her. I got people from Puerto Rico, Florida, everywhere praying for her,” she adds.

We hope both mother and unborn baby are being well cared for and pray they make a full recovery!

Shantaniqua Scott confessed to cops she wanted her ‘carefree’ life back. How horrifying!

Thankfully doctors disturbed the grisly scene in time to save four-month-old Raymond. Shantaniqua is now on trial.  Should she be locked up for life?

Medics suspected Shantaniqua Scott, 18, was abusing her baby after the pair made a number of visits to the hospital following Raymond’s birth — so they installed a hidden camera and caught her in the act!

The horrifying video, recorded in July 2010, has been played to jurors in Fort Worth, Texas. It shows her placing a blanket over Raymond’s mouth and clamping down as he struggles and fights for air.

As soon after he stops breathing, alarms ring out and a team of doctors and nurses rush to resuscitate him.

In an emotional testimony, heart and lung specialist Dr. Sami Heed told the court the baby would have died if medics had taken any longer to get to him.

He said, “I still get emotional. I get night sweats when I think about it. I take care of the sickest of the sick. His life was being put in danger by someone who was supposed to take care of him.”

Police officers who questioned Shantaniqua after her arrest have also given evidence, revealing she confessed to smothering her tot because she found it hard being a teenage mom.

Sgt. Pedro Criado told the court, “She just basically stated that she just wanted to go back to that carefree attitude she had before she had the child.”

Raymond, thankfully, recovered and is being cared for by social workers — but doctors admit it’s too soon to know if he has suffered any lasting damage from his mom’s attack.

Shantaniqua, meanwhile, is facing a life sentence if convicted on two counts of causing serious bodily injury to a child.

Ever since Elton John announced that he and his husband, David Furnish,48, had welcomed a son, Zachary, on Christmas Day, there has been speculation as to who could be the biological father of the little boy. Now we know, that it was indeed Elton’s DNA that went into creating the child, who was born via an anonymous surrogate mother in California on Dec. 25. “Elton really wanted the child to have his genes,” a friend of the Candle in the Wind singer tells Popeater.com.

Apparently, Elton, 62, was hoping to pass his singing ability on to their son. “He has a god-given talent and wanted to pass that on to a child. And after years of discussion and thought, Elton and David decided together that Elton’s sperm would be used,” explains the friend.

And this kid is going to grow up in grand fashion, according to the friend. “Elton has already purchased a $2 million adjoining apartment in Los Angeles to turn into the perfect nursery. Elton’s son already has four round-the-clock nannies and his own chef. This little boy is going to want for nothing except a mom.” And as we told you on Monday (Jan. 3) he’s already spent over $50,000 on the nursery! But why does a newborn need a chef? Maybe to warm his bottles?

Alexandra V. Tobias is awaiting trial after pleading guilty to shaking her 3-month-old son to death. Can you believe that the Florida woman committed this senseless act of violence because her infant’s cries were distracting her while she was playing Farmville on Facebook? How could this happen?

If there is any justice Alexandra V. Tobias will spend the rest of her life behind bars. The 22-year-old Jacksonville, Florida resident recently plead guilty to killing her 3-month-old son over an online game. She admits that Dylan Lee Edmonson had been crying for a while as she played the popular Facebook game Farmville.

Alexandra told police that when the infant wouldn’t stop crying, last January, she stepped away from the game long enough to shake the boy, smoke a cigarette and then shake the boy again. The unfit mother suggested that little Dylan “may have hit his head during the shaking.”

Disgusting. I can’t stomach this kind of abuse. Considering that so many of my friends and family are struggling to conceive, it really enrages me that mothers can be so careless with the kids they were blessed to have.

Dylan’s death has been classified as second-degree murder, so if convicted, Alexandra faces the possibility of life in prison. The Farmville craze  — it has more than 75 million users who earn virtual money by growing and harvesting crops — is becoming a big cause for concern because there are so many reports of players, like Alexandra, have become addicted to the game.

Dr. Phil even featured a Farmville-addicted mother on his talk show in January. Playing Farmville online became an obsession for this woman. She admits to being on the computer playing from the moment she wakes up until late into the night, while her kids were eating microwaveable meals and living in filth.

If you find yourself spending way too much time taking care of your cyber crops, Dr. Phil suggests deleting the game to ensure that it doesn’t become a bigger problem.

I’m going to share this story with every single one of my Facebook friends that like to boast about how well their corn crop and avocado harvests are doing. I suggest you do the same thing!
