Diva Mariah Carey, 42, had no urge to stick around after filming American Idol on Mar. 20 because all she wanted to do was get home to “dem babies.” She didn’t even stop to change out of her glam gown or sky-high stilettos before sitting down to play with her almost-two-year-old beautiful babies, Monroe Cannon and Moroccan Cannon!

Mariah Makes Time For Her Kids

The following day, on Mar. 21, Mariah tweeted out a picture of her all smiles just hanging out with the twins, along with the caption:

“after the show last night: ) rushed home to put #dembabies to sleep!”

A gorgeous, but tight black maxidress wasn’t going to stop this loving mother from being with her kids before they went to bed for the night! Mariah and husband Nick Cannon, 32, love spending time with their children and always make time for them first and foremost.

Mariah & Family Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day

Earlier in the week, Mariah and Nick celebrated St. Patrick’s Day by getting super festive with their son and daughter. Monroe was outfitted with a green headband that read “QUEEN O’ THE GREEN,” while Moroccan wore a lime green shirt and a dark green hat! Mariah posted a photo of the twins on her Twitter account, but not without her favorite hashtag for her kids!

Mariah Takes A Break From Work

Family time is a nice break from the American Idol set where the singing diva spends a lot of her time, which includes both filming and fighting! The show this season has been filled with a lot of cat-fights, eye-rolls, accents and banter between Mariah and Nicki Minaj, 30, which must make for exhausting work for the mother of two. But at the end of the day she has her loving kids and husband to come home to!

Mariah Carey‘s twins Monroe and Moroccan sure are growing up fast! The twins, who will celebrate their 2nd birthday in April, are starting to look and act more like their famous parents every day! With kids as cute as hers, Mariah couldn’t help but gush about her twins during her appearance on LIVE with Kelly and Michael on March 1.

When asked about who her kids are most like, Mariah was torn. “It’s tough ’cause they change as the grow up,” she told hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan.

Although it was difficult for Mariah to choose, one thing’s for sure — Monroe is shaping up to be a mini me of her fashion savvy mom!

“[Monroe] tries to put my shoes on,” Mariah gushed. “She always chooses the most sparkly ones.”

It sounds like Monroe has definitely inherited her mom’s love of fashion — hopefully she will also inherit her mom’s killer voice too! While Monroe has fashion in common with Mariah, Moroccan has his own special tradition with his mom.

The pop star added, “Moroccan always watches movies with me.”

Nick Cannon Doesn’t Want His Twins To Go Into Show Business

Although these adorable twins have the genes to be super stars, Nick Cannon has different plans for his children.

“I don’t really want them to be entertainers. I’m not for it. That’s just me though,” Nick told Hollywoodlife.com. “(Their) mom is into it. I think as a hobby maybe, but not as a career,” he added.

Mariah Carey sure has passed on some of her diva ways to her only daughter, Monroe Cannon, 17 months. The American Idol judge snapped a pic of her baby girl wrapped up in strands of her mom’s pearls!

“Ms. Monroe seems to think sometimes pearls can be your best friends too,” she wrote along with the adorable pic on Dec. 17.

A few days later, she shared another precious photo of Monroe. “Merry Christmas!!! – From MC & MC” she wrote on Instagram with a photo of Monroe in her dressing room and special chair.

Getting Ready for the Holidays

If Mariah’s hit 1996 Christmas album is any indication, the singer loves the holidays, and has been sharing photos of her family all week!

She snapped a pic of her goofy husband Nick Cannon by their Christmas tree, doing a silly dance and even wearing his wife’s footwear!

“Nick sneaks a peek by the tree in MY Lamb slippers” she tweeted on Dec. 20. She has also been posting pics of lots and lots of snow, which means the A-list couple went on a wintery getaway for the holidays — they are staying at an exclusive ski resort in Aspen!

Mariah was also spotted out and about looking flawless in a pair of snow boots and a white vest. Even for the holidays, the diva still has to keep her style!

We just hope she shares more photos of “dem babiez” — her adorable twins!

Mariah Carey lived up to her diva image on Oct. 22 when she strutted the streets of Tribeca in NYC wearing huge dark sunglasses — but daughter Monroe Cannon, 18 months, looked as cute as ever in her pink frames!

The adorable toddler, who is twin sister to brother Moroccan Scott Cannon, also carried her cute stuffed bunny with mom, and stayed bundled up in a white sweater and tights.

Mariah, on the other hand, looked chic and very New York in black patterned tights, a black dress, and black dress.

How precious! We love seeing mother-daughter bonding time with these two.

As much as Nick Cannon loves fashion, he loves talking about his family even more. The former Nickelodeon star spoke to us exclusively during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, where he talked about his wife Mariah Carey, who was also in NYC for the 2012 NFL Kick-Off concert, and their adorable twins Moroccan Scott and Monroe!

HollywoodLife.com caught up with Nick at the Richard Chai show on Sept. 6, and he gushed about his wife of four years.

“She looks outstanding,” he said. “Most people can’t bounce back from twins like that.”

The proud papa also updated us on how dem babies are doing. “They’re good, they’re really good,” he said.

“Roc” and “Roe,” who are 16 months old, are already growing up so fast! Nick said they’re “dancing, singing, talking, fighting.” But as much as they love to sing and dance, which Nick said they do “a lot,” he doesn’t think it’s the right career choice for his kids.

“I don’t really want them to be entertainers,” he said. “I’m not for it. That’s just me though.”

His wife Mariah, however, has other plans.

“(Their) mom is into it,” he said, and added “I think as a hobby maybe, but not as a career.”

Dem babies still have a lot of growing up to do, but hopefully Nick, Mariah, and the twins can all agree on what’s best!

If publications choose to buy the photos, proceeds go to The Fresh Air Fund’s Camp Mariah, which hosts inner-city adolescents for a summer camp where they enjoy a combination educational classes and fun outdoor activities.

Lucky for us, Mariah and Nick update their site a lot, which means tons of cute new pics! They’re growing up so fast!

Mariah Carey is a proud mom of two, and wasn’t afraid to show off her adorable twins, Moroccan Scott Cannon and Monroe Cannon on Twitter — and show off her toned body!

The best-selling singer and songwriter shared a photo of son Moroccan while the two relaxed in bed.

To appease her fans, she also sent a photo of daughter Monroe sitting in a pool floaty and hanging out in the water, while Mariah was close by showing off her toned legs in a black bikini and white cover-up.

We expected nothing less from Mariah Carey and hubby Nick Cannon. They celebrated her twins Moroccon Scott and Monroe‘s first birthday all decked out in angelic white!

Lavish from beginning to end, Mariah, 42, and Nick, 31, had their hotel suite decorated with blue and pink star-shaped balloons and gave out champagne to their guests…well, we’re assuming their guests of age. There were also custom-made French pastries and plenty of gifts inside the Plaza Athenee where the bash was held, according to the Daily Mail.

Mariah was in a form-fitting gown (of course) and Monroe was adorable in a white party dress with floral details and a tiny bow for her hair. Moroccan looked as handsome as his daddy, both in ivory suits.

This trip to France was also to commemorate the lovebirds’ fourth wedding anniversary, where they renewed their vows in front of The Eiffel Tower on April 30.
