Taylor Swift’s fans were outraged when Michael J. Fox said it’d be a really bad idea for his son, Sam, 23, to date Taylor, also 23, telling her to “back off.” Now, Taylor is finally speaking out about the diss!

“Hey everybody, Michael J. Fox got in touch with me today and we are good,” Taylor told her 23 million Twitter followers. “Thank you for having my back.”

Michael J. Fox Disses Taylor Swift — How It All Started

At the Jan. 13 Golden Globes award ceremony, host Tina Fey hilariously poked fun at Taylor, and told her to “stay away from Michael J. Fox‘s son,” while Michael sat and laughed nervously in the audience.

Michael’s diss to Taylor came when he was at a book party for Ann Leary‘s The Good House on Jan. 16. While there, he admitted his horror at the prospect of Taylor dating his son Sam.

When asked if he would approve of a romance between his son and the country cutie, the Back To The Future actor said, “No. No … Just back off,” to Vulture. “I don’t keep up with it all. But Taylor Swift writes songs about everybody she goes out with, right? What a way to build a career.”

Michael was then asked what he would do if Taylor showed up to a family dinner. “I wouldn’t even know who she was,” he said. But he would probably figure it out when he heard the song she would inevitably write about his son post break up? “Yeah, exactly,” he said. He even went as far as to suggest a name for the song: “‘Sam, You Piece of S**t.’”

Michael fears are not unfounded, as Taylor is quick to jump to guitar the minute one of her relationships goes pear shaped. Her song “Should’ve Said No” is about her high school boyfriend, “Forever and Always” is about Joe Jonas, “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” is about Jake Gyllenhaal, “Dear John” is about John Mayer, and finally her most recent hit “I Knew You Were Trouble” is about her most recent ex Harry Styles.

It’s quite a list! It looks like Taylor will “never ever ever” be dating Sam!

“Welcome back, Michael J. Fox!” That’s what all of our televisions will be saying when the primetime icon returns to our living rooms with a brand-new series. And Michael isn’t messing around, as Vulture reports the actor is teaming up with Easy A producer Will Gluck and Cougar Town/Arrested Development writer Sam Laybourne. Networks are, understandably, in a “bidding war” to host Michael’s epic return.

Michael’s Parkinson’s disease — he was diagnosed with the condition in 1991, but didn’t announce it until 1998 — caused him to take a step back from the acting world for a while. He left the series in 2000 to spend time with his family and do more research into his crippling condition. But in a May 2012 interview with ABC News, he announced a new drug regimen was keeping his tics under control.

Of course, Michael hasn’t been totally absent from our TVs. In recent years, he’s appeared on some major hits like Boston Legal, Rescue Me, Curb Your Enthusiasm and The Good Wife. (He even has two Emmys pending for his work on the latter two series.)

MTV is re-making the teen classic Teen Wolf. Will you watch?

After years of vampire oppression, the werewolves are reclaiming their title as most popular onscreen supernatural creatures. Now that Taylor Lautner has single-handedly made the hairy beasts sexy again as Twilight’s teen were Jacob Black, MTV is jumping on the bandwagon to remake the 1985 classic Teen Wolf.

For those of you who don’t remember this kitschy flick, the story centers around high-school student Scott McCall (played by Michael J. Fox) who discovers his otherwordly powers out of the blue, including the pretty killer ability to attract girls after attacking. (Pheromones, who can live without ‘em?)

But who is capable of filling Michael’s Converse high tops? Ladies, we present the adorable (and legal!) Tyler Posey, whom you might recognize from Lincoln Heights and Brothers & Sisters. We’re super jealous of his lucky leading lady, newcomer Crystal Reed.

Congratulations, Team Jacob! Even if it’s only a TV movie, you’ve successfully growled loud enough to make some progress in bringing weres back to the bigscreen. Just so long as Tyler looks as good as Taylor shirtless, we’re fully onboard!
