We are used to seeing sexy hot tub scenes on The Bachelor, but not ones with Matt Damon and Michael Douglas! Michael, 68, stars as the famous American pianist Liberace in HBO’s highly anticipated new film Behind The Candelabra, and there is glitter, champagne and sweet, sweet music. Watch the teaser here!

‘Behind The Candelabra’ Teaser — New Video

Michael plays the famous entertainer in the new film which will air on HBO on May 26, and Matt, 42, plays his younger lover Scott Thorson. While focusing on his career as America’s best pianist, the film also highlights Liberace’s controversial personal life, including his penchant for younger men and his fascination with plastic surgery.

“He was the biggest act in the world, and the whole time, petrified of his secret coming out,” Matt told EW about the film. “You see him in the movie going to a sex store — nowadays, he’d be [exposed] on Twitter so fast.”

Michael weighed in about playing such an iconic character and said “Of course, you’re never gonna be as good as he was.”

Michael’s face had to be digitally grafted onto a professional piano player’s for the movie because he does not play to that standard, but he sure rehearsed a lot!

“The moment I knew we were fine was the Sunday before we started shooting,” said Matt. “Michael had a brunch at his house, and his son [Dylan] sat up in front of everybody and did the entire monologue with the [piano-playing] hand movements and everything. And I thought, ‘Oh my God. I can’t imagine how much Michael has been rehearsing for his 11-year-old son to be able to actually do the thing!’”

Catherine Zeta-Jones was promoting her upcoming film Playing For Keeps on Good Morning America on Dec. 7 when the interview went sour. Although she brought it up first, she didn’t seemed thrilled to answer the question of how she is feeling now after it was revealed she was battling Bipolar disorder in April 2011.

Interviewer Elizabeth Vargas asked Catherine about her busy year, as she filmed multiple moves including Playing for Keeps and Rock of Ages.

“After Michael [Douglas] had his cancer, I had my issues. I had to stop for a moment. And then, I’ve just been doing smaller roles in great, fun movies with great directors and that’s been fun for me. It sounds like a whole bunch but it wasn’t that much, really.”

When Elizabeth asks how she is feeling now, Catherine responded,

“You know what? I’m sick of talking about it because I never wanted to be the poster child for this. I never wanted this to come out publicly. It came out,” she said.

“I dealt with it the best way I could. It was just saying, hey, I’m Bipolar. Everyone has things going on and we deal with them the best we can. We can’t jump from the rooftop shouting, ‘I have this, look at me, victim’ — we all have issues in life. I’m really happy that I have great friends, great support and that’s all you can do.”

We still think she’s so brave for facing her fears!

Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones‘ son Dylan was born with a form of dyslexia, but since 2010 has been attending a special school in Bermuda, where his family moved to from New York  – and he’s making amazing progress!

The brave actress says she couldn’t escape the ‘dark cloud’ of depression — even when her husband Michael Douglas was declared cancer-free!

Catherine Zeta-Jones says the way her deep sadness lingered after doctors told Michael Douglas his throat cancer was gone made her realize she had to get treatment. And now she wants the world to know “there is no shame in seeking help” for bipolar disorder.

“This is a disorder that affects millions of people, and I am one of them,” Catherine, 41, tells People magazine. “If my revelation of having bipolar II has encouraged one person to seek help, then it is worth it. There is no need to suffer silently.”

The Oscar-winning actress, now filming the romantic comedy Playing The Field, has the courage to speak out about checking into Sillver Hill Hospital in New Canaan, Conn., after being unable to shake her depression.

“I think she looked at Michael and went, ‘You know what? He’s getting a second chance. We’re getting a second chance. I have every reason to celebrate, and I’m going to give myself a second chance, too,’” a friend tells People.

Catherine had battled anxiety shooting 2004′s Ocean’s Twelve, when a stalker was threatening her. She found her sadness inescapable for years. Therapy and medication failed to help. Then her five days in Silver Hill gave her an answer: a diagnosis of bipolar II disorder, the mental illness whose sufferers face long bouts of depression that alternate with manic periods.

“It takes a lof courage to seek help, and I am very proud of Catherine for doing something positive about her situation,” Michael, 66, tells People. “It’s onwards and upwards for both of us.”

We all hope so! Catherine is very brave to reveal the details of her illness and how it has affected her life with Michael, their son Dylan, 10, and daughter, Carys, 8. She certainly sounds like she is on a better path now.

Happy Birthday Carys! After a rough year dealing with dad Michael‘s cancer treatments, Carys and her brother Dylan, 10, had to support their mom Catherine as she headed off to seek treatment for her bipolar disorder. But now, the whole family is back together again and everyone is doing well — and we are so glad to hear it!

“I see a lot of myself in both of them to the point where, with my daughter, I can read her like a book. She’s a mini me,” Catherine says of Carys. “I think they’re both a real mix between me and Michael. I think Dylan looks more like me and Carys is a mix of both.”

Carys got an early birthday gift from dad when he took her to see the Ranger game on Sunday, April 17, at Madison Square Garden! Awesome, she’s a sports lover!

The couple ‘looked very happy together’ returning to life as normal!

Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas are trying to get their routine back, and they looked very comfortable at a cozy pizza place in Connecticut on April 14, just days after her release from bipolar II disorder treatment.

The pair was spotted having a very casual dinner date at Pizza Post in Greenwich, Conn.

“They seemed great,” a source at the restaurant tells People. ”They looked very happy together.”

The couple were apparently super-nice and normal as they ate, and the other customers were apparently “thrilled” to see the power couple out-and-about.

We’re so glad Catherine’s able to resume some normalcy before she begins work again.

Doctors say she’s ‘overwhelmed’ by her bipolar disorder and needs to re-energize before her next projects!

Catherine Zeta-Jones shocked her fans when it was revealed she spent five days in a Connecticut mental health facility, after admitting herself on April 6 to manage her Bipolar II Disorder. But perhaps most shocking was that her stay in treatment was so short. HollywoodLife.com spoke exclusively with a mental health specialist to understand why her stay was so brief, and what treatment likely focused on.

“She most likely went in for only five days because of time constraints for her in her career,” says Dr. Jeff Gardere, a psychologist who has worked with bipolar patients and is a chief contributor to Healthguru.com. “She has to give the impression she’s not incapacitated so it doesn’t affect her being insurable in Hollywood and I appreciate and respect that she’s so open about it.”

Dr. Gardere speculated her fatigue from worrying about husband Michael Douglas and his illness may have lead her to seek medical attention.

“She’s going in for a tune up,” he said. “She’s overwhelmed and she’s exhausted. Maybe she is really depressed right now and doing this and sending her home says she’s not as bad as someone must be to go away for much longer.”

He gets essentials in NYC after she sought help in Connecticut.

Michael Douglas looked fraught with concern while out shopping for groceries on April 13 in New York City, days after his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones was released from a Connecticut mental health facility.

INFPhoto.com is reporting Catherine, 41, checked into Silver Hill Hospital — which specializes in treating mental illness and substance abuse — in New Canaan, Conn., April 6.

“After dealing with the stress of the past year, Catherine made the decision to check into a mental health facility for a brief stay to treat her Bipolar II Disorder. She’s feeling great and looking forward to starting work this week on her two upcoming films,” Catherine’s rep told HollywoodLife.com.

Catherine timed her treatment very strategically, as she’s preparing to film Playing the Field in Louisiana with Gerard Butler, Dennis Quaid, Jessica Biel and Uma Thurman. Then she is to work on a movie set in Las Vegas, Lay the Favorite, with Bruce Willis and Justin Timberlake.

We’re so happy Catherine got help — she’s been through so much over the past year.
