When Tina Fey walked the red carpet Jan. 27 at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, she discussed four words I never thought I would ever hear in this order: Mean Girls, The Musical! “I would love to,” Tina told E! when asked about bringing the Plastics to Broadway. “I’m trying to develop it … with my husband, who does all the music for 30 Rock. I think Paramount’s on board.”

As crazy as it may sound, I think Mean Girls could make a great musical, especially with Tina and husband Jeff Richmond at the helm. Did anyone think Legally Blonde would be a great musical? Or Bring It On? Of course not, but they both turned out to be huge hits!

That’s right. They were both HUGE. HITS.

Potential Songs For ‘Mean Girls: The Musical’

Because Mean Girls: The Musical is still being developed, we don’t know anything about the show’s sure-to-be-crowd-pleasing musical numbers, but that’s not stopping me from making a few suggestions. Here are five songs I’d like to see make their way to the stage:

1. “You Go Glen Coco,” one boy’s triumphant song-and-dance number about getting multiple valentines — while Gretchen Wieners got none.

2. “I’m A Cool Mom,” an upbeat number introducing the beautiful creature that is Regina George’s mother.

3. “Projection Room Blues,” Shane Oman’s surprisingly poignant ballad about getting caught in his undies — all alone.

4. “I Want My Pink Shirt Back,” Damian’s big moment, where he demands Cady return his over-sized garment. (This could be a major highlight of act two.)

5. “So Fetch!,” Gretchen Wieners’ desperate (musical) attempt to make “fetch” happen.

Even though Lindsay’ is back in jail yet again, LA-based addiction expert, Dr. Gregory A. Smith, tells HollywoodLife.com she’s not likely to recover until she loses her money, her friends AND her family…how sad!

Poor Lindsay! We keep holding out hope that she’ll bounce back to her former Mean Girl glory days, but even another stint in jail isn’t going to clean up her act, predicts leading Los Angeles-based addiction expert Dr. Gregory A. Smith.

“After jail, I think she should be in a medical rehab where she’s medically detoxed, but she needs to be confronted by a psychologist to see if she’s really at a point that she wants to get clean,” the doctor — who founded the Comprehensive Pain Relief Group – tells us. “If she’s not wanting to stop partying, then she really needs to hit rock bottom first.”

Isn’t a two-time trip to jail and four times in rehab rock bottom enough? We’d say so!

“Jail would be rock bottom for ME, but look what’s happened,” Dr. Smith explained. “She went to jail, but it was almost like a publicity stunt. It’s not like she was doing hard time. I think rock bottom for her is losing friends, money and fame. If she had no movies, she’d have no money — money doesn’t last forever, no matter how much you have.”

Regardless, if the 24-year-old actress doesn’t actually WANT to change, the court is still required to help her.

“When I have patients who aren’t ready, I tell them all the negative things that could happen and that have already happened,” he said, adding, “We still try to help them, but the success rate is low.”

Judge Elden Fox could put Lindsay Lohan in custody without bail for up to 30 days before her probation violation hearing…and this time she won’t be so lucky and get out early for good behavior!

Lindsay Lohan only had to do 13 of her 90 day jail sentence this summer thanks to overcrowding at the Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood, Calif. — but now that she’s failed not one, but TWO drug tests, LA-based criminal attorney Steve Cron says there’s zero chance she’s going to get off so easily again!

In fact, when the 24-year-old actress shows up to her court hearing tomorrow morning, Cron predicts that Judge Elden Fox will hold her in custody without bail while deciding when her probation hearing will be…and she could be held for up to 30 days before her hearing even begins!

“If he thinks she’s violating her probation (which she is), one option would be that she be held in custody before her hearing. It’s not a sentencing, but it’s a way that Judge Fox could use to make sure she stays in longer,” Cron says.

He adds, “[Fox] could put her in custody with no bail. She remains in custody and then he could say, ‘Have you learned your lesson?’ Or he can just say, ‘You’re going into custody and I’m sentencing you for 30 days,’ but he knows she’ll only do four or five because of overcrowding.”

Luckily for Lindsay, Cron doesn’t think Judge Fox will actually put off her sentencing for 30 days because the case is so cut and dried.

“He could draw out the hearing, but I can’t imagine they need a really long time to prepare for this,” he says. “I’d be surprised if he puts it over for a really long time. I can imagine he’ll hold her for a week or two.”

Unfortunately for Lindsay, there’s very little doubt she’ll end up behind bars again. “My prediction is she’ll definitely do jail time, either before the sentencing, after the hearing or both,” Cron says.

Sorry Lindsay, but you made your bed and now you’re going to sleep in it –- or should we say jail cell cot?

Director M. Night Shymalan isn’t afraid to work with Hollywood’s hottest messes and says he loves Lilo! Who knew?

Lindsay Lohan may just have scored her next role! Weirdly enough, Sixth Sense director M. Night Shymalan tells us he thinks the hard-partying starlet is an awesome actress.

“I am not fluent with all the personal stuff that has gone on [with Lindsay],” M. Night told HollywoodLife.com exclusively at the LA premiere of his newest sci-fi film, Devil, Sept. 15. “All I know about her is that I love her movies. I think she has a great energy onscreen – she has that big star thing about her.” He added, “I am certain she’ll be back.”

We know this — M. Night, who bowed out of directing Devil and simply wrote the story – gave another Hollywood hot mess, Mischa Barton, her start in the movie biz in his spooky 1999 flick, The Sixth Sense. Why not work with one more?

Lindsay Lohan has served her minimal amount of jail and rehab time and is now adamant that she should make her big Hollywood comeback ASAP – but does the industry elite agree that she deserves a second chance?

“I don’t care what anyone says. I know that I’m a damn good actress. … And I know that in my past I was young and irresponsible—but that’s what growing up is. You learn from your mistakes,” the 24-year-old starlet says in the Oct. issue of Vanity Fair.

She adds, “I’ve admitted to the things that I’ve done—to, you know, dabbling in certain things and trying things ’cause I was young and curious and thought it was like, O.K., ’cause other people were doing it and other people put it in front of me. And I see what happened in my life because of it.”

Sure, Lindsay claims she’s ready to get back to work and redeem herself for the mistakes she’s made – but is Hollywood ready to take a chance on her again?

When HollywoodLife.com consulted with movie industry insiders — including a director, two casting directors, a producer/writer and a celebrity expert — all say Lindsay will be welcomed back with open arms…but only if she proves her worth.

“She’s not done. Hollywood loves a comeback story — and so does the public. One of the hardest things as a child actor is to grow up — and she’s proven she can do that,” Lauren Lloyd, producer, casting director and creator of BigIsGood.tv, tells us. “She has the chops as an actor. She’s proven she can go from a child actress to a grown up actress — she has the looks and the chops to do it.”

Writer and producer Dawn Ritchie agrees — but reiterates that Lindsay’s second chance will only come after she shows she’s actually serious about her craft for real.

“Lindsay’s success depends only on her dedication to pursue her career,” she explains. “The industry understands the delicacy of the artistic personality. It forgives transgressions. In the end, talent will [win] out.”

Celebrity expert and author of Cult of Celebrity, Cooper Lawrence, points out that Lindsay’s fans will also forgive her for going off the deep end because her issues weren’t 100% her fault…she was the victim of bad parenting.

“It’s the celebrities who do harm to others like Chris Brown that we have a harder time accepting back into the limelight,” Lawrence says. “We have always taken pity on the child stars who were mistreated or taken advantage of by their seemingly greedy parents and the industry.”

Although she hasn’t had a box office hit since Mean Girls in 2004, Lindsay DOES have a pretty fierce supporting role in the artistic drama Machete, which hits theaters Sept. 3 (she plays gun-toting socialite April). Plus, she’s also starring as famed porn star Linda Lovelace in the drama, Inferno, which starts shooting in Nov. She could very well be on her road to redemption already!

Lindsay Lohan began her 90-day rehab stint at UCLA’s Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital…and it’s so strict that she’ll FINALLY get the help she needs!

Lindsay Lohan was meant to check in to the easygoing Morningside Recovery rehab facility in Newport Beach, Calif. this week – but at the last minute, Judge Marsha Revel changed her mind and placed the young actress at UCLA’s hardcore Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital instead. One insider tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively why Lindsay has a shot at actually beating her addiction now that she’s being placed in a seriously strict facility.

“UCLA is not going to take Lindsay’s bullshit,” LA-based addiction expert Marty Brenner — who’s worked with the Lohan family in the past — says, explaining, “During her other times, she RAN drug rehabs because of her celebrity status. This facility is a hospital. It’s much more medically based.”

According to the hospital’s website, laptops and cell phones are not allowed for privacy purposes and phone calls can’t go over ten minutes. Although iPods ARE allowed, they must be locked up and have to be checked out from the nurses. Additionally, visiting hours are stricter and there are no field trips from the facility…a far cry from Lindsay’s first assigned rehab facility, Morningside Recovery, where she was allowed shopping trips and weekend visits with friends.

“This is strictly therapeutic. At the other place there were no boundaries,” Brenner says. “People keep asking if Lindsay’s bi-polar, but the truth is, we won’t know until she gets off all the meds she’s on. Nothing can be diagnosed until she’s completely off everything, which will probably take a couple of weeks.”

As far as allegations that the Mean Girls actress is addicted to methamphetamine, Brenner has his doubts.

“If Lindsay was really addicted to meth, she would have been broken out. She would have lost a ton of weight quickly. The symptoms of meth show up right away,” he explains. “People are basing all that off her behavior, but I don’t think she actually showed the physical signs of meth addiction. I can’t really answer that. It’s all hearsay.”

Lindsay will remain in the court-ordered rehab for the next 90 days. Upon being released she’ll be under probation with random drug testing for a year.

And that’s not all-she’s still in denial that she has a problem!

Even though Lindsay’s mom, Dina Lohan, says her daughter’s is “doing well” and “in good hands,” a source claims the 24-year-old actress is pouting about having to go to rehab.
After all she’s been through, you’d think Lindsay Lohan would be happy to have spent 13 days in jail instead of her scheduled 90 AND about being sent to one of the best rehab facilities in the country, but an insider says the actress has yet to accept her fate.

“Lindsay is very upset that the judge ordered her to go straight to rehab,” the source told People. “[She] is having a difficult time accepting that she will be in rehab for the next three months. She still doesn’t think that she needs any help.”

Seriously?! Even after serving 13 full days in jail, the Mean Girls actress is still in denial. What will it take for her to wake up and smell the roses?

Her mom, Dina Lohan, thinks UCLA’s Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital is just the place for her daughter.

“Lindsay is doing well, and is appreciative of the hundreds of well-wishes she has received,” Dina told RadarOnline. “Lindsay is with the utmost professionals and is in very good hands.”

Meaghan is taking over the role that made Lindsay famous. Will a similar fate befall her?

Should we offer you our congratulations or our condolences, Meaghan Jette Martin? You ARE the next Lindsay Lohan!

The 18-year-old starlet is playing Jo, the lead role in Mean Girls 2, a made-for-TV follow-up to the 2004 film that made Lindsay a household name; the sequel began filming in Atlanta, Georgia July 7.

The similarities between the two girls are eerie: Lindsay, now 24, was also 18 when she shot the original flick. Both girls are also former Disney darlings: Lilo starred in Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen and Herbie: Fully Loaded, while Las Vegas native Meaghan starred in Camp Rock 1 & 2 and the recently canceled (and utterly awesome) ABC Family series 10 Things I Hate About You.

Lindsay’s Mean Girls cast members included some pretty huge names – including Amanda Seyfried and Rachel McAdams – while Meaghan’s co-stars Jennifer Stone and Nicole Anderson are also established Disney stars themselves. Both girls also have barely-there careers as pop stars.

Unfortunately Mean Girls 2 isn’t going to the movie theater – it will only air on TV (but at least it’s saved from its anticipated straight-to-DVD fate) so maybe the lack of notoriety will keep Meaghan on the straight and narrow. We don’t want another hard-partying, SCRAM-wearing jailbird on our hands, now do we?
