It looks like Rachel Uchitel‘s divorce from Matt Hahn won’t be an easy one! After being married for a year-and-a-half, Rachel, one of Tiger Woods‘ infamous mistresses, and her husband decided to call it quits, and it appears the pair might have a major custody battle on their hands!

On June 10, Matt filed for divorce from Rachel, citing “cruel and inhuman treatment  … such that the conduct of the defendant [Rachel] so endangers the physical or mental well being of the plaintiff as renders it unsafe or improper for the plaintiff to cohabit with the defendant.”

In the filing, Matt asks for custody of the couple’s one-year-old daughter, spousal support and child support.

After Matt filed for divorce, Rachel’s rep, Howard Bragman released a statement explaining the situation:

Rachel Uchitel is ending her marriage of less than two years to insurance executive and former Penn State fullback Matt Hahn.  The couple have a one-year-old daughter, Wyatt Lily, together. It is Ms. Uchitel’s goal to resolve this action amicably, quickly and quietly and not in the media.  No further details of the action are being released at this time by Ms. Uchitel.

It looks like Rachel and Matt may have a long road ahead of them before they are officially divorced!

Rachel Uchitel never wanted to get divorced, again. Rachel, 38, and Matt Hahn, 27, married in 2011 and together they have a one-year-old daughter Wyatt Hahn. But despite Matt filing for divorce on June 10 citing “cruel and inhumane” treatment while married to Rachel, HollywoodLife.com can tell you that Rachel didn’t want to throw in the towel.

Rachel & Matt Went Through Marriage Counseling

HollywoodLife.com spoke with an insider close to the couple who tells us that Rachel wanted to save their marriage.

“Rachel and Matt had marriage counseling in the past,” a source tells us. “Rachel tried to work it out, she didn’t want to be divorced. She truly believes in love and marriage.”

The insider also told us that Rachel had no idea that Matt would accuse her of inhumane treatment. We can also tell you that Rachel was just at our VH1 Gossip Table party in NYC and she and Matt seemed very happy together.

Rachel’s statement to the press definitely left everyone shocked!

Rachel Uchitel, 38, and Matt Hahn, 27, who were married in October 2011, are calling it quits — Matt reportedly filed for divorce on June 10, citing “cruel and inhumane treatment,” according to TMZ.

In the divorce proceedings, Rachel will be represented by Peter R. Stambleck of Aronson Mayefsky & Sloan; Matt will be represented by Doug  Kepanis. Rachel’s rep, Howard Bragman released a statement explaining the situation:

Rachel and Matt’s relationship reportedly exploded in May of this year when the former Celebrity Rehab star called 911, asking for help removing Matt from their house after a bad argument, according to TMZ. The site also alleges that the incident was just one of many explosive fights between the couple. TMZ claims that one fight got so bad that Rachel slapped her husband after he repeatedly called her names.

Rachel Uchitel & Matt Hahn’s Shocking Split

This comes as a total surprise to us. Rachel and Matt were together at our premiere party for VH1′s The Gossip Table on May 30 — and they seemed happy! They had just returned from an eight-day trip in Hawaii. “Headed to Maui for 8 days with @mattyhahn and family. Should be so fun!” she tweeted on May 18. Three days later she tweeted an adorable picture of herself and Matt with the caption, “Hawaii lovin..”

A source tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that Rachel is very upset about the split. And to give a better idea of just how sudden the divorce is, another source tells us that Rachel and Matt were recently even talking about trying to have a second child in the near future.

We feel so sorry for Rachel — Matt’s divorce filing was clearly a heartbreaking surprise. We think she and her beautiful daughter, Wyatt, totally deserve happiness and stability going forward. We wish them well and who knows, maybe there’s still room for Rachel and Matt to reconcile.

Rachel confirmed the big news to HollyBaby.com and also reveals that she and her husband Matt Hahn are also almost ‘finished’ making the nursery!

Rachel Uchitel and her husband Matt Hahn tied the knot in October, and now they’ve got a baby on the way! ”Matt and I couldn’t be happier about having a baby together,” she tells HollyBaby.com. “We have already finished most of the nursery and are just waiting for the baby to arrive!”

Rachel tells us that although she knows the sex of the baby, they’re keeping it a secret!

“Expecting big things for 2012,” she tweeted. “Five down, four months to go.”

The 36-year-old and Matt eloped in Las Vegas after she moved from NYC to San Francisco over the summer.

The couple allegedly discovered her pregnancy while auditioning for The Amazing Race. “They were going to try out to be a couple on the show, and when she had a drug test, it came back positive that she’s pregnant!” a source revealed.

Rachel made headlines for her affair with Tiger Woods and a stint on VH1′s Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew.

While Rachel is infamous as the #1 other woman in Tiger Woods‘ life, she also suffered terrible heartbreak after tragically losing her fiancé Andy O’Grady on Sept 11, 2001.

O’Grady, an investment banker, died after a terrorist-hijacked plane hit the World Trade Center’s South Tower, where he worked.

Rachel told us exclusively at Hollywoodlife.com about how much she loved Andy. “Andy was amazing, he was too good to be true.”

It wasn’t until Rachel met former Penn State football player turned insurance broker Matt Hahn, that she found true love again. And how they’re hitched for life!

“Matt and I were married in front of 12 friends at 11pm on Sunday night at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, where everyone from Michael Jordan to Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, to Britney Spears were married,” Rachel told us exclusively. “We are really happy and feel extremely fortunate to have one another.” The couple married “on the spur of the moment and it was very romantic”, Rachel added.

The pair had attended the wedding of other friends that day and “were inspired.” They danced in to the chapel to the song “Single Ladies”, according to TMZ.com and danced out to, “That’s What You Get for Waking Up in Vegas.”

After the wedding, the happy couple skipped partying and instead went back to Rachel’s grandmother’s house where they were staying, by midnight, says TMZ.com.

As for the wedding rings — the couple settled with what the chapel had to offer for the time being.

“We just got the wedding bands they sell at the chapel. We will be getting real bands here in San Francisco,” Rachel told Hollywoodlife.com.

Rachel moved with Matt to San Francisco to have a fresh start and “give a chance to start a new life with him, ” she said in our interview.

We’re so glad Rachel, that it’s worked out and that you got a marriage license Sunday night in Clark County, Nevada, It was filed with the court on Monday, according to TMZ.
