Marisa Tomei is walking down the aisle! The 48-year-old actress is going to marry her longtime boyfriend Logan Marshall Green, 36, who is best known for starring in the movie Prometheus.

How Marisa & Logan Met

Marisa and Logan have been dating on-and-off since 2008 after working on a New York theater project together. Marisa has always said that she doesn’t see a reason to have kids but it seems that she just could contain herself when he popped the question to her over the holidays.

A source tells InTouch: “He popped the question over the holidays. She is very happy about the engagement.”

They Will Have A Busy Engagement

Marisa is working on a romantic comedy which co-star’s Hugh Grant. It’s about an Englishman who was a well-known screenwriter and now he’s broke, unemployed and starts working at a small college to make some money.

Meanwhile, Logan is starring in the movie As I Lay Dying opposite James Franco. He just wrapped Black Dog, Red Dog and Eve of Winter. He’s also set to play Tennessee Williams in the movie Lonely Hunter and star in I Fought The Law.

Wow, let’s hope they have time to plan a wedding!

Learn how to lengthen and thicken your lashes to match Julianne Moore and Marisa Tomei‘s lush lash looks in three simple steps.

• Choose the right mascara for the look you’re going for. If you want length, pick a lengthening mascara. If you want volume, go for a volumizing formula. If you want both, apply two coats — one of each! A big, thick bristled wand will give you volume while a small bristled wand will give you more length.

• Once you’ve chosen your mascara, you need to apply! Start at the base of the lashes and wiggle the brush up through the lashes all the way to the tip. Take the pointed end of the wand and get any small stray lashes that your once-over couldn’t catch.

• Don’t be afraid to use multiple coats! If you want a natural lash look, just go with one, but if you want to add some serious drama, go for two or three coats.

While we saw a slew of gorgeous gowns on the red carpet at the 2011 Academy Awards, there were also a few looks that left us wondering, ‘What were they thinking?!’

After watching Martha Stewart do it (and do it well – HollyWho-Knew, Martha?!) I’m trying out S-Factor — Hollywood’s sexiest stripping workout!

When I hear the words ‘lap dance,’ I immediately think of dark rooms in the sketchiest strip clubs in town. So when I walked into my second lesson at S-Factor and my instructor, Christina, informed me it was “Lap Dance week” I was a nervous wreck.

After watching Christina demonstrate the dance I was about to learn, I felt about as confident as Alice when she first opens the door into Wonderland. Yeah, that good.

First things first, stripping is tough work. Holy cow. (Rather, sexy cow.) I was sweating like a beast trying to squat down, shake my hips, hold in my stomach and look sexy at the same time.

But you know, after practicing the moves a few times, I started to let go and actually have fun. I named my invisible client, George (S-Factor asks you to do it for a man you love. I don’t have one, so ‘George’ it is), and chided him for looking at my butt. Oh, the fun.

But seriously, even though S-Factor creator Sheila Kelley had explained it to me countless time before, it wasn’t until I was crawling on the floor, seducing my invisible friend that I realized how empowering it is to really know my body. I felt sexy – and had a blast!

To top it all off, two days later, I can still barely move. My entire body feels like I spent hours in the gym, when in actuality I was just having fun in a totally comfortable setting and getting to know another side of myself.

But it doesn’t stop here, friends. Watch out for me next week — I’m going to conquer the pole!

Who wore Kai Kuhne better?

Black and white unite on these two starlets! Marisa Tomei first stepped out in this Kai Kuhne frock in LA on March 26, where the actress accessorized with a pair of black pumps, while Jennifer Nettles opted for the same exact number and a pair of strappy sandals in Washington D.C. on Dec. 6! Who do you think looks best in this origami-like dress? I don’t know if it’s their heights or the length of the frock, but I think Marisa’s version is a bit too long. What do you think?

I’m facing my pole-dancing fears and learning to strip at S-Factor — the same place where Teri Hatcher, Kate Hudson and Marisa Tomei got their sexy moves and dropped some serious weight

The last thing I ever thought I’d be doing was learning how to strip, especially for a job. Showgirls I’m not. But S-Factor founder Sheila Kelley convinced me to give the pole idea one final shot. After telling me about all of the benefits of Hollywood’s hottest stripping workout — namely confidence and weight loss — I realized if Martha Stewart could do it, then I had nothing to be afraid of.

I walked into S-Factor’s Los Angeles location feeling like it was my first day of kindergarten and I was the only girl without a Lisa Frank Trapper Keeper. Sad face.

The first thing I saw upon entering the studio through an ultra-private alley entryway? Dominatrix stripper heels (thankfully not of the Lucite variety) and sexy undies. Oh, boy.

The butterflies didn’t last long, though. My super-friendly (and beautiful) instructor, Janel, couldn’t have been more patient with a first-timer like myself. Plus, all of the studios have hardwood floors, low lighting and no windows or mirrors, making it easy (ish) to let go and have a sexy, good time. And, since I’m a total stripper newbie, Janel kept it simple and focused on floor work for our first lesson. No poles yet! Sigh of relief.

Get Teri Hatcher’s Ultimate Core:

Teri, 45, started S-Factor four-and-a-half years ago, and “has improved her core so much,” Sheila tells us. One move you can try at home to improve your stomach is the cat pounce, which is a move Teri did on a recent episode of Desperate Housewives.

Cat Pounce Instructions: The key to the Cat Pounce is to let your entire body be pulled up by your butt, as though you’re being airlifted by a helicopter connected to a rope around your hips. Lie on your belly on the floor. Engage your quadriceps and your obliques. Push your butt up in the air by using your arms. Do it for a minimum of eight seconds at a time.

Get Marisa Tomei’s Toned Back:

“Marisa built a strong core and lean muscles, while at the same time building her self-confidence,” Sheila says, explaining the process behind S-Factor instructor Rie Katagiri‘s training Marisa, 45, for her role as – what else – a stripper in the critically-acclaimed 2008 film, The Wrestler. “Her back muscles were beautiful.” But how can you get Marisa’s long, lean muscles? Try body circles!

Upper Body Circle Instructions: Sit cross legged and circle your body slowly in one direction, all the way around. Switch directions and really focus on your core.

Get Kate Hudson’s Feminine (Yet Toned) Curves:

“Kate Hudson took to S-Factor like a fish to water,” raves Sheila about Goldie Hawn‘s daughter, who’s been taking classes for about four years. “She is a natural mover. S-Factor gave Kate this beautiful curve from the chest to the indentation of her hips. It also helped with her legs and quads.”

One thing Sheila focused on with Kate was the Standing Hip Series, which helped emphasize her feminine, toned curves by loosening, opening and unlocking her hips.

(Standing or kneeling) Hip Circle Instructions: Begin with slow, exaggerated, clockwise Hip Circles. As your hips com around to the back, and your upper body comes forward, whip your head from left to right, then immediately slow down to your former speed and complete the sweep. Try whipping your head from left to right, then immediately following it with a toss in the other direction.
