Marisa Miller, 34, gave birth to son Gavin Lee Guess on Dec. 13 in Santa Cruz, Calif. Baby Gavin weighed in at 8 lbs!

New Baby Boy

Marisa and her music producer husband, Griffin Guess, must be so excited to welcome their first child. The adorable couple dated for a year before marrying in 2006.

“I’m completely overjoyed by the birth of our son,” Marissa told People. ”I feel so blessed to be a mom and am so excited to experience this next part of life.”

After confirming she was pregnant in June, Marisa announced she was welcoming a boy in July!

Marisa Miller’s Weight Gain During Pregnancy

During her pregnancy, Marissa said she was more concentrated on maintaining her health than worrying about her weight.

“Gaining weight is part of charting your progress,” the model turned actress told Allure.com. “Yes, I was seeing numbers I had never seen before, but I let go of that because I had a new goal and focus.” What a positive attitude about pregnancy! You go, Marisa!

But even with her growing belly, Marisa looked stunning. The model mom posed nude for Allure and showed off her awesome pregnant curves in some beautiful black and white photos!

She told Allure, “Obviously you can’t suck it in, but it’s important to really show off the belly.” And boy did she show off her baby bump!

Marissa’s Next Career Moves

Other than being a mom, Marisa will next show off her acting chops in R.I.P.D. opposite Ryan Reynolds. Between acting and caring for new baby Gavin, Marisa is sure to have her plate full!

Marisa Miller revealed in June that she is expecting a baby with her husband Griffin Guess. The Sports Illustrated cover girl recently took to her blog to officially announce the gender of her new bundle of joy.

It’s a boy!

She and her husband found out during a recent appointment, and couldn’t be more thrilled.

“We would be excited either way, but it was amazing to know for sure,” she wrote. This is the couple’s first child together.

A PEOPLE report says Marisa is due in late fall. Marisa is said to be enjoying her pregnancy and embracing her changing body.

“Even though I’m exhausted, gaining weight and breaking out from all the hormones, I’m really enjoying my pregnancy. It’s all for the baby so I couldn’t care less!”

She adds: “My husband and I have always looked forward to starting a family, but also wanted to enjoy just being married. After six years together, the time feels right. My sisters and I will all have babies in 2012 so it’s such an exciting time.”

Marisa Miller has been the face of many brands, but most famously strutted her stuff as a Victoria’s Secret Angel from 2007 to 2010. Now she has some free time to focus on something she’s truly passionate about — besides being hot.

We’d do pretty much anything to look like Marisa Miller — and now we have the tools to make it happen!

Supermodel Marisa Miller has a rocking body and a killer career and now we know how she does it! The 32-year-old Sports Illustrated swim suit model opened up in the February issue of Shape about how she preps for shoots and stays in tip top shape — and she’s not afraid to get down and dirty!

“I’ve tried Pilates and yoga, but they’re a little too meditative for me. I need to really go for it, and do it hard!” Marisa said. “For me, it’s about focusing for an hour and a half on my work out.”

Three to four times a week, Marisa goes boxing with her trainer and does the following workout:
1. Jump rope for 15-20 minutes
2. 3-minute rounds hitting the heavy bag or trainer’s mitts with 1-minute breaks
3. Five sets of 30-40 squats

“That’s my butt workout right there,” she explains. “It’s pretty simple, but extremely effective.”
