Co-founder and designer of Marchesa, Georgina Chapman, 36, is bringing her gorgeous red carpet glamour to JC Penney. You’ve seen the high-fashion brand on everyone from Kristen Stewart to Diane Kruger and now YOU can scoop up one of the designer’s glam looks — and all without having to splurge! Georgina has teamed up with JC Penney to create Pearl by Georgina Chapman. Although the collection doesn’t officially launch in stores until Mar. 1, you can get a sneak peek right here!

Pearl mainly features dresses that would be great for a cocktail party or prom, but the line definitely doesn’t stop there. From less formal attire to lace jumpsuits, peplum tops and sequin gowns the collection is seriously versatile. So far, we’re seeing a lot of bows, tulle, peplum, and lace… something for everyone! Luckily, Georgina plans on releasing at least 15 new pieces per month. It’s definitely going to be hard to resist this one!

Our favorite part about this up-and-coming collection is that it’s absolutely affordable. There’s nothing more heartbreaking than finding the prom dress of your dreams…with a nightmare of a price tag. “It’s amazing what Penney’s can achieve at a price point. There’s corsetry involved, beautiful laces, beautiful prints,” explains the designer. Adorable tops and bottoms start at an impressive $50 while cocktail dresses average at about $70. Some of the dressier evening gowns can reach $250 which is definitely a steal if we’re talking prom! Not only can this look be found at it’s collaborating store, J.C. Penney, but the retailer plans on opening 500 boutiques to feature the items.

From hanging out with your friends to dressing up for a memorable evening out, there’s a look for every occasion and for buyers of all ages. While you can’t shop the look in stores until Mar. 1, the items are currently being sold on the JC Penney website, giving online shoppers a special advance shop option!

The First Lady, Michelle Obama, is preparing for the 57th Presidential Inauguration on Jan. 21, and we are sure she will look stunning in a gorgeous ensemble for the big night. Fashion is one of her favorite things, and it shows in every piece that she wears.

With all of the fame that Michelle brought designer Jason Wu at the last inauguration in 2009. when she wore one of his beautiful gowns, we are at the edge of our seats waiting for what she will pull out of her closet next! Will she wear a new designer, or will she wear one of her faves?

According to Women’s Wear Daily, Michelle will most likely wear one of these eight contenders: Michael Kors, Derek Lam, Naeem Khan, Marchesa, Prabal Gurung, Jason Wu, Bibhu Mohapatra, and Thakoon Panichgul. Of course, no one can ever be certain. She may choose an up-and-coming designer to skyrocket him or her into fame, just as she did for Wu. A few other possibilities are Barbara Tfank, Narcisco Rodriguez, and Tracy Reese because she has donned some flowing frocks by them in the past.

There’s no denying the fact that the latest Naeem Khan collection had gorgeous gowns that are perfect for the First Lady. In fact, when they came down the runway we were convinced they were made for her! The same could be said about many of the other designers as well.

There are also predictions being made about who her two adorable gals, Natasha Obama and Malia Obama, and what they will wear for their dad’s big moment. In the past, they have sported cute pieces by Chris Benz, Anthropologie, ASOS and Zara. With Michelle as their mom, we are expecting big things — and we’ll be watching!

Once again, Eva Longoria stuns at the AMPAS Samuel Goldwyn Theatre in Beverly Hills, where she attended the premiere, ‘For Greater Glory’ in another Marchesa dress. While she looked so feminine — it was definitely an interesting edgy dress! Do you think she pulled it off?

This Marchesa from the Fall 2012 collection is a bit on the edgier side, with a laser-cut funnel-neck flare and intricate shoulder detail. While I am always a huge Eva fan, I can’t say this feminine frock is one of my absolute favorites on her. The star finished the look with Brian Atwood ‘Maniac’ pumps and a slicked back ponytail.

While it certainly won’t outdo the backless Marchesa gown she wore for her last debut at Cannes for the Moonrise Kingdom, premiere, her natural beauty shines on the red carpet and she still manages to look as adorable as ever.

Former Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen, 18, sat front row at the Marchesa Fall 2012 fashion show at The Plaza in NYC on Feb. 15 looking almost unrecognizable. She finally cleaned up her trashy act and looked just like Bridget Bardot in her delicate lace Marchesa frock!

It’s about time that she steps out in public with some clothes on, especially because her rebellious rockstar ways have her looking more like a stripper most of the time. Taylor, you may love performing on stage, but there’s no need to walk the streets without pants! I was absolutely shocked to see Taylor turn up in such a conservative, feminine dress — it was such a refreshing change!

Taylor paired her beautiful lace Marchesa with nude heels and an up-do. While she didn’t completely abandon her grunge look — she wore her trademark heavy black eyeliner — I’ll take it! I think she looks absolutely beautiful and I hope we see this side of Taylor more often. Do you agree?

While most people are excited that the list of nominees for the 83rd annual Academy Awards were revealed on Jan. 25, I can’t wait to see what the glam gals in attendance will wear on the red carpet! With stylish stars like Natalie Portman, Michelle Williams, Hailee Steinfeld, and Jennifer Lawrence up for awards, it’s definitely going to be a big year for glam gowns and interesting get-ups! So, what do we think they should wear?

• For Natalie, I’m assuming the star will turn up in a custom-made Rodarte — considering she’s super close to the Mulleavy sisters and they did the costumes for Black Swan it’s only fitting for the mom-to-be. If not, my back-up guess would be Dior — although when it comes to a red carpet, I never rule out Marchesa.
• Hailee always looks so stylish and age appropriate — I think something like this blue Elie Saab gown would be perfect for the star, especially since it has a conservative neckline.
• Michelle always opts for interesting frocks, which is why I could see the star in a silhouette similar to the Oscar de la Renta we chose — although definitely not in black!
• Helena Bonham Carter is known for her eccentric get-ups, which is why the most recent Armani Prive collection is perfect for her!
• Nicole Kidman often opts for L’wren Scott, although I think the dress we chose would look great on her figure!
• I thought Amy Adams looked stunning in the structured Marchesa she wore to the Golden Globes, which is why this soft Valentino would be perfect for the star.
  I loved the Ports 1961 gowns in the spring 2011 collection, and I think this silhouette would be so flattering on Jacki Weaver
