Season finales are always bittersweet occasions. While I’m sad to see some of my favorite shows say goodbye for the summer, I’m also excited to see the epic cliffhangers they all have in store for us. And since this week is bringing us some of the season’s most intense finales — The Vampire Diaries, Once Upon A Time, Smash and the very last episode of Make It Or Break It – I couldn’t resist sharing some scoop with you.

The Vampire Diaries

Evil Alaric is out for blood on tomorrow night’s season finale, and because desperate times call for desperate measures, fans can expect to see unlikely characters teaming up for battle. “Bonnie’s a little too busy to help Elena make her big decision,” Kat Graham tells me. “She’s off making her down decisions, teaming up with people, and doing other things on the side. There are surprise alliances, a lot of them. You’re going to be shocked. It’s the biggest finale we’ve ever had.” (Check back tomorrow morning for my full interview with Kat about the season finale!)

Smash

The crux of the May 14 season finale may be the ever-important decision of which girl will play Marilyn Monroe in Bombshell, but that’s not what’s going to have the Twitterverse buzzing when the curtain drops. Regardless of which girl is bestowed Marilyn’s golden wig, Ivy has an even more jaw-dropping moment towards the end of the episode. ”Those were the last scenes we shot of the entire season, and it was really intense,” Megan Hilty tells me. “I do a lot of looking in the mirror, and it’s much more emotionally taxing than I thought it would be.”

Once Upon A Time

We all know happy endings are a rarity in Storybrooke. In fact, some would say they’re nonexistent. But on the May 13 season finale of Once Upon A Time, there’s a very good possibility that two fan-favorite characters might actually reach their happily ever after. That is, if this on-set photo taken during the filming of the finale is any indication: Click here if you dare! (And don’t say I didn’t warn you!)

Make It Or Break It

ABC Family’s high-flying drama may be coming to an end May 14, but don’t expect the series to go out with a whimper. “A huge, catastrophic secret is going to be revealed,” Josie Loren tells me. “It’s an issue that’s really important, and I think they do a great job of dealing with it. It’s pretty powerful and serious.”

The L.A. Complex

Fans of Tariq (Benjamin Charles Watson) and Kaldrick’s (Andra Fuller) relationship will especially love the May 14 episode of The L.A. Complex, which finds the down-low lovebirds escaping the pressures of Los Angeles for a romantic weekend in the country. Kaldrick will finally start to understand what it means to be in a relationship — but will his new perspective stick when the couple heads back to the city? Uh… good luck with that.

Kaylie (Josie Loren) and Kelly (Nicole Anderson) haven’t always seen eye-to-eye on ABC Family’s Make It Or Break It, but on the April 23 episode, they’ll find themselves standing by each other’s side when a terrifying presence returns: Kelly’s mom (Kathy Najimy)! “Kelly’s mom is crazy,” Josie reminds HollywoodLife.com. “Kaylie sees that now, and she and sees why Kelly did some of the things she did.”

And while the presence of Kelly’s mom is a little terrifying for all parties involved, it sounds like her visit might end on a positive note.

“It actually strengthens their relationship,” Josie reveals. “As a friend, you don’t want to see your friends hurt, so she definitely stands up for Kelly. … There are actually a couple of really lovely scenes between Kaylie and Kelly. I think people will enjoy the friendship that’s forming between those two.”

It’s refreshing to see new friendships being formed on MIOBI, especially with so many new frenemies popping up. (I’m look at you, Jordan!)

Congratulations go out to Make It Or Break It star, Chelsea Hobbs! Someone in Chelsea’s camp has confirmed to HollyBaby.com that the actress, 26, and her photographer husband Teren Oddo recently added a new baby to their brood!

“Proud to announce that yesterday @terenoddo, our daughter and I welcomed a beautiful baby boy into the world,” Chelsea tweeted on April 28. “Life is amazing.”

Chelsea and Teren, who have been married since 2004, have a daughter, Wylie.

Chelsea’s pregnancy has been written into the ABC Family show, in which she plays gymnast Emily Kmetko.

Congrats to the Hobbs-Oddo family!

Everyone knows Candace Cameron Bure as D.J. Tanner on Full House, but recently she has been a star on the ABC Family show, Make It Or Break It, along mom-to-be, Chelsea Hobbs!

Candace was introduced to her husband, NHL player Valeri Bure, 36, by her Full House co-star and friend Dave Coulier! Candace and Valeri have three kids, Natasha, 12, Lev, 11, and Maksim, 9.

“I think the biggest reason [for taking time off to raise my kids] was that one of us always wants to be with the kids,” Candace explains. “We don’t have a nanny or anything, except on occasion when we have a babysitter.”

It’s safe to say Make It or Break It star Chelsea Hobbs will be steering clear of the balance beam when ABC Family’s gymnastics drama returns this spring.

A rep for the 25-year-old actress confirms exclusively to HollyBaby.com that Chelsea Hobbs is expecting her second child with photographer husband Teren Oddo this spring.

Breaking News: Chelsea Hobbs welcomes a baby boy!

According to a Make It or Break It source, producers learned of Chelsea’s pregnancy during production of the second half the show’s 20-episode second season (slated to premiere in the spring) and tweaked the story accordingly. It’s unclear whether one of those tweaks included making Hobbs’ character, teen Olympian Emily Kmetko, pregnant as well.

Carrie Underwood: ‘No babies for now!’

Should the show opt to write the pregnancy in? It won’t be the first ABC Family show to tackle such a delicate—yet relevant—issue. The Secret Life of the American Teenager, which hit the airwaves in 2008 and is now one of the network’s most popular programs, tells the story of 15-year-old Amy, a good student who becomes pregnant the first time she has sex.

Hobbs and Oddo, who have been married since 2004, already have a young daughter named Wylie.

We thought Doug was enjoying his single life, but it sounds like he’s found love with a blonde –and it’s not his ex-GF Paris Hilton!

Doug Reinhardt might have been hit with Cupid’s arrow! The 25-year-old reality star, famous for his on-and-off relationship with Paris Hilton, is back OFF the market! A source very close to the former Hills star, reveals that Doug has been spending a lot of time with Cassie Scerbo, 20, star of the ABC Family series Make It Or Break It!
