Mackenzie Douthit, 18, isn’t going to be a single mom for much longer — she’s engaged to her long-term boyfriend and baby daddy Josh McKee!

Mackenzie announced the good news on Jan. 8 via Twitter when she shared an Instagram photo of her new engagement ring and wrote simply, “I said yes.” This is the second time Josh popped the question — the couple were previously engaged last year, but called things off in October 2012.

Mackenzie & Josh Featured On ’16 & Pregnant’

The high school senior was selected as part of MTV’s new cast of moms for the brand-new series Teen Mom 3. Mackenzie, a popular Oklahoma cheerleader was a fan favorite during the fourth season of 16 & Pregnant.

Mackenzie is still a high school student — back on the cheerleading team — who is also enrolled in cosmetology school. Josh was featured on 16 & Pregnant riding horses in the rodeo for extra cash, but he is currently a member of the Marine Corps. The couple will move to San Diego, Calif. where he is being stationed.

Mackenzie’s Dream Wedding

Even though they haven’t set a date yet, Mackenzie revealed to Us Weekly the details of her dream wedding in the spring when she was engaged the first time.

“We want like hay bales for people to sit on, and we want it in a barn, and we want to ride up on horses. We’re very country people,” she said. “We went to prom in camouflage last year. And we took pictures with like guns, holding them. I was four months pregnant, but…”

It might be Teen Mom‘s last season — we’re crossing our fingers for a spinoff with Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra — but Mackenzie Douthit and Alexandria Sekella from 16 & Pregnant will be among the four girls featured on the third and final season of MTV’s hit reality show.

MTV sources confirmed to RadarOnline that Mackenzie and Alexandria will join the show.

Fan favorite Mackenzie is an Oklahoma cheerleader who posed in uniform with her very noticeable bump on this season’s 16 & Pregnant. Mackenzie is mom to baby Gannon and is currently engaged to Gannon’s daddy, Josh McKee.

The source from MTV told the website they wanted someone who “comes from a stable family and seems to have her life in order.”

Alexandria is a Pennsylvania native who considered giving up her baby Arabella for adoption in her very emotional episode of the show. Her baby daddy, Matt McCann, had entered rehab for his drug addiction and have since called off their engagement. Alex is now raising her baby as a single mom.

Even though his dad is a rodeo star, Mackenzie’s not too keen on letting baby Gannon join!

On the most recent episode of 16 & Pregnant, Mackenzie Douthit and baby daddy, Josh, fought over him staying on the rodeo circuit because it’s very dangerous.

In this bonus video, Mackenzie consults with her two best friends about Josh riding again and baby Gannon one day taking hold of the reins. If Mackenzie has her way, Gannon will be getting nowhere near a bull.

After her boyfriend gets seriously hurt in a dangerous car accident, cheerleader Mackenzie doesn’t know how they can afford diapers or daycare!

The new season of 16 & Pregnant is back! In the season premiere, meet cute-as-a-button Oklahoma cheerleader Mackenzie and her baby daddy — bull riding, rodeo cowboy Josh.

After finding out her daughter is pregnant, Mackenzie’s mom says dropping out of high school is not an option. The couple need to pay for daycare so Mackenzie can go to school, but neither has a job.

Mackenzie tries calling around for a job, but nobody is interested in hiring someone who is 7 months pregnant. After her failed attempt to find employment, she goes to a sonogram and learns she’s expecting a baby boy! The couple want to name him Gannon, but that’s about all they can agree on at the moment.

They’re fighting because Mackenzie wants Josh to stop doing rodeos. It’s dangerous, but it’s also the only way the two are getting any income. But then disaster strikes: Josh gets into a terrible car accident and ends up in the hospital with a concussion and neck injury. He can’t work, and now they’re even worse off than before. “I have a newborn with no hope,” Mackenzie cries.

But she does get some swag at the Oklahoma-style baby shower — which included gifts of baby cowboy boots, camo T-shirts and diapers wrapped in bandanas.

Next, Mackenzie starts her junior year, but the long days and constant stares from students wear her down. Going to be bed early, she wakes up late one night and realizes it’s time for the baby!

Little Gannon arrives, and Mackenzie and Josh quickly have to figure out how to change poo-loaded diapers. They make a plan that he’ll stay with the baby during the day, and she’ll take care of him at night.

Josh still wants to get back into rodeos despite his injuries, but Mackenzie gives him an ultimatum. Apparently picked her because the two are reportedly still together and engaged!

The season premiere of the hit MTV reality show stars a teen who has to put her cheerleader dreams on hold because she’s pregnant!

The fourth season of 16 & Pregnant kicks off with Mackenzie Douthit, a pregnant Oklahoma cheerleader with a rodeo star boyfriend, Josh. She dreams of cheering in college when she graduates in two years, but will she have to put them on hold when she has her baby?

“Although we’re both really busy, we’re going to have to spend a lot of time together soon because… I’m pregnant,” Mackenzie says.
