Soulful singer Michael Buble, 37, and his actress wife Luisana Lopilato, 25, are expecting a baby boy! They got the exciting news when Luisana went to the doctor’s office for a sonogram.

Michael Buble’s Baby Gender Too Exciting To Keep A Secret

The couple were quick to share the news, not being able to keep all the excitement to themselves!

“We are so excited,” Michael told The New York Post. “We have just come from the hospital, and the sonogram was pretty clear, it’s a boy! We are thrilled.”

Michael Buble: Wife’s Pregnancy Announced By Video

A video was posted back in January by the married duo that announced Luisana’s pregnancy. Since then the pair have been keeping pretty low-key and working on projects. This video also contained a sonogram of the baby with the text: “Mini Buble!”

Luisana Wants A Big Family

Michael and his wife got engaged in 2009 and married in 2011 and have been going strong since then! This is going to be their first child, but Luisana wants to have quite a few more.

“I want to have four or five,” Luisana told Entertainment Tonight Canada in a November 2010 interview.

Luisana knew she wanted to have kids, but wasn’t sure when she wanted them exactly. After her wedding with Michael, he gave quite the speech about children.

“I’ve said to Luisana a million times I’d love to have kids,” Michael said after their wedding. “But I always say to her when you’re ready — when you feel like you’ve lived and you’ve partied and done all the things you want to do. When you’ve worked your butt off, then tell me.”

Michael Buble, 37, and his wife Luisana Lopilato, 25, are going to be first-time parents! The Grammy-award winning singer and his Argentine actress wife announced the good news in a cute video message posted to Luisana’s YouTube account on Jan. 24.

In the video, Michael’s hit song Haven’t Met You Yet – the song he wrote for Luisana, who appears in his music video — is playing in the background, and the informative message pops up.

“Mike, Lu and … ” then the video cuts to another image. “Mini Buble!” the message reads over a pic of their baby’s ultrasound image.

Then a pic of Michael kissing his beautiful wife appears, with cheers in the background. “We’re having a baby Bublé!” the final message reads.

The clip is only 22 seconds long, but it definitely shows how excited the couple is to be parents!

Michael Buble & Wife Luisana Lopilato Want ’4 or 5′ Kids

The couple, who got engaged in 2009, tied the knot in spring 2011 in two ceremonies — one in Luisana’s native Argentina, and one in Michael’s native Vancouver.

In November 2010 before her upcoming nuptials, Luisana told Entertainment Tonight Canada that she wants to a large brood. “I want to have four or five,” she said.

Looks like they are well on their way to a big family! Congrats to the happy couple!

Michael Bublé is a married man!

The 35-year-old singer wed Luisana Loreley Lopilato de la Torre, 23, in a civil ceremony in Buenos Aires, Argentina on March 31. Luisana is a popular actress and singer in her native Argentina.

The couple got engaged in 2009 and plan to continue the wedding celebration by having another ceremony in Argentina over the weekend in front of approximately 300 family members and friends, People reports.

Michael Buble Says There’s No Way He’s Going to Name His Kids After Twilight Characters!

A lot of couples decide to test out their parenting skills before they actually bring home a baby. Some get a plant, and if they can manage to keep that alive, they graduate to a puppy. But singer Michael Buble, who has set the date for his wedding to his Argentinian actress fiancée, Luisana Loreley Lopilato de la Torre, is really starting small.

Michael Bublé is not going to be naming his kids after any of the characters from the Twilight movies!

Luisana told Entertainment Tonight Canada she wants to have “four or five kids,” but it doesn’t sound like Michael is in too big a hurry. “I would like to start off with sea monkeys first and see if I can keep those alive,” he laughed. While he’s taking baby steps there, Michael’s wedding plans sound pretty huge. The couple, who are marrying on April 6, are having two ceremonies. “We are doing one in Argentina and that’s for her close family, and then we are doing one in Vancouver,” Michael revealed.

Michael jokingly told the Today show that he had to reschedule his nuptials: “I was going to do it on [April] 29th, but figured I wouldn’t get any press,” referring, of course, to the wedding date set by Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Marrying your fiancée twice? That’s love for you! But it doesn’t stop there. Michael and Luisana have already planned a massive African safari adventure for their honeymoon, where they will combine vacation time with some volunteer and charity work for children’s causes while there. “[We will] go help kids and do stuff like that … her idea,” he said. With their compassion for others, it sounds like Michael and his bride-to-be are already better parents than they realize!

Bella Buble? The name has a nice ring to it, but the Canadian crooner has told his fiancée that they can’t name their children after Stephenie Meyer’s vampires and werewolves.

It’s not easy choosing a name for your child, but Michael Buble (who’s not expecting a baby anytime soon) is already laying down the law with his fiancée, Argentinian actress Luisana Loreley Lopilato de la Torre, about what names they’ll use when they eventually do have kids. And there are no Edwards, Jacobs or Cullens allowed!

Despite the fact that Twilight character names are among America’s most popular baby names, Michael’s not a fan of the movie franchise.

“I came up with some hypothetical names and I didn’t like the names, but she came up with … Bella Buble,” Michael laughed to Entertainment Tonight Canada. “I swear to god, she kept coming up with these names, and she kept saying, ‘Bella [or] I like Edward.’ And then I realized, I think she’s talking about… Twilight. I think [Luisana] wants me to name the kids after the Twilight characters, which is not going to happen.”

Michael says he’s eager to have kids, and has no doubts about how his fatherly skills will rate, saying, “I think nobody knows until you do it, and apparently when you do it, all of a sudden you just make it right.”
