Matt Damon, who usually sports a full head of hair, recently shaved it all off for his new role in Elysium, and it’s still taking his family a little time to get used to. The actor, 40, says his four daughters, Alexia, 13, Isabella, 5, Gia, 3, and Stella, 10 months, LOVE calling him “baldie!”

“My kids love to touch my head – it’s their favorite past time,” Matt told Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa on LIVE!. The Contagion star added, “That’s how I get my 10-month-old to laugh! If I stick my head in front of her for long enough she just starts [he motions his baby patting his head].” Aww!

As for his life full of women, Matt says he wouldn’t want it any other way! “They’re the most beautiful girls in the world,” he gushed of his girls and his wife Luciana.

“There’s a whole book written about choosing the sex of your kid,” Matt explained. “After three girls, my wife and I said, ‘Let’s buy the book.’ Then we thought… we’ve got three kids, that’s plenty for anybody. And then one night we went out to dinner,” he joked.

“When she found out she was pregnant, I said, ‘Do you think we did it in the right time?’ and she said, ‘I don’t know!’ and we ended up with another girl. And we couldn’t be happier!” he added. “Girls take care of their dads!”

For now though, he’s rooting for best friend Ben Affleck and his pregnant wife Jennifer Garner to give the group a boy! “I really hope it’s a boy,” Matt joked to reporters when asked about his best bud’s baby news. So do we!

We don’t see much of Matt Damon, 40, and his kiddies, so this is a sweet treat! How cute is almost 3-year-old Gia? She’s growing up so fast!

Matt has four daughters with his wife Luciana Barroso, stepdaughter Alexia, 13, and biological girls Isabella, 5, and Gia, and Stella, 9 months. But although he’s a huge star, he admitted earlier this week that he’s happy about his family life being kept out of the spotlight — unlike other celebrities he knows.

“I have friends who are like prisoners. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, for instance. They can’t just go someplace. If they go for a walk, it turns into an international incident,” Matt tells German television TELE 5.

“Ever since I found my wife and we had children, my whole life revolves around that. It gave my life a dramatic change in direction,” he adds. “I’m not as crazy as most of the other stars. I don’t really know why, probably because I married a woman who isn’t an actress. And we live in New York. As long as we don’t show up in typical tourist spots, we can walk the streets without being noticed. New Yorkers are very cool, they don’t flip out if they see me.”

Well Matt, we’re glad you can keep your adorable daughters away from the paparazzi parade! But we must say, it’s nice to catch a glimpse of their gorgeous faces from time to time!

Adding a new baby to the mix hasn’t been easy for the True Grit actor. Hey Matt, any mom could’ve told ya that!

Matt Damon, 40, and his wife Luciana Barroso recently brought home a new baby girl, Stella, and as exciting as that’s been, it’s also stirred things up in the Damon household! Big sisters Alexia, 12, Isabella, 4, and Gia, 2, are still adapting to the new addition, and so are mom and dad!

Matt really wants Alexis to babysit so he can sleep!

“Each new baby is different but what gets harder is the fact that you have the other kids now,” says Matt. “It is less that you are intimidated by having another baby, and more that you want to make sure you are not giving any of the other kids short shrift because you feel like you are on paternity leave.” It must be hard spending individual time with each kid, especially when they’re all daddy’s little girls!

But something else that has Matt all wound up is the fact this his tween stepdaughter, Alexis is moving into her teenage years. “Like any father, I’m concerned a little about her becoming a teenager because I know just what teenage boys are thinking,” Matt says. “Luckily, she is a terrific kid and the best you can hope for is that you are raising someone who has a lot of self-esteem and a lot of common sense.” Wow, Matt sounds like an awesome dad who knows all the works on how to take care of four young women. I wonder how he does it!

Matt Damon is one of the biggest stars in the world, but when one of his daughters (he and wife Luciana have three together, Isabella, 4, Gia, 2, and newborn Stella, while Luciana, 35, also has another daughter, Alexia, 12, from a previous marriage) bats her eyes at him and asks him for something, he turns into a puddle.

“She was asking me for something,” Matt, 40, tells of Isabella, 1½ at the time, in the latest issue of USA Weekend. “It was a treat. I was about to give it to her. She was looking at me and I was in a trance. Lucy walked into the room and said, ‘Isabella.’ And she looked up at her mother and broke into the most mischievous grin. I realized that this 18-month-old already knew that I was completely wrapped around her finger and it made me think how unfair the fight was between men and women. I was helpless in front of this 18-month-old. So what chance did I have with her mom?”

Matt says his top priority is to raise his daughters to be “strong women”

The problem with being so smitten, obviously, is that discipline is tough for the movie star, though he swears he doesn’t force Luciana to always be the bad guy. “I wouldn’t say Lucy is strict,” he says in defense of his wife of five years. “But she’s definitely better than I am. I think if my kids were boys, I’d be, because I really understand boys. I don’t think I’d have any problem putting my foot down with consistency and authority and frequency, but with girls …”

His voice trails off, but it’s easy to figure out where he was going with that.

What’s the first rule of having a new baby? Make sure you spend enough time with the older siblings so that they still feel special. Well, since Matt Damon, 40, and his wife, Luciana, 35, just had their fourth daughter (Stella Zavala was born in New York City on Wednesday, Oct. 27), they should be old pros at this by now, right? It certainly looks that way, as daddy Matt took his 4-year-old daughter Isabella for a walk in the Big Apple’s East Village.

Matt’s other daughters (Alexia, 11, is from Luciana’s first marriage, and 2-year-old Gia) make him feel outnumbered in his own house, five women to just him, but he doesn’t seem to mind all that much. He told Hollybaby.com exclusively recently that the one drawback to being surrounded by so many women is, “I don’t get a lot of time in the bathroom and it will get worse when they get older.”

The Hereafter star and his wife of 5 years welcomed a baby girl on Wednesday, October 20 in New York City!

Ah, we always knew the handsome Matt Damon would be surrounded by beautiful women! The actor, 40, and his wife Luciana, welcomed daughter Stella Zavala on Wednesday (Oct. 20) in NYC! “Mom and baby are both healthy,” Matt’s rep tells People magazine. “The whole family is thrilled.”

Matt talks about living in a house dominated by women!

Matt and Luciana, 35, already have a house full of ladies, so why not add another! Stella will join a beautiful brood, which includes big sisters Isabella, 4, and Gia, 2, and Luciana’s 11-year-old daughter from a previous marriage Alexia! The actor admitted recently that this will be the last additon to the family and that four kids is enough. “We’ve drawn a line in the sand. This is it,” Matt says. ”Our lives are full and wonderful and we’re done having kids.”

Congrats again Matt and Luciana! We can’t wait to see the new Damon baby!

The star of the new movie Hereafter is about to become a father for the fourth and — if he means what he says — last time, and knows that the most important thing he can do these days is focus on raising his four daughters right. “If I had a bucket list, I’d say raising my four girls to be strong, good women would be number one,” the 40-year-old says in the new issue of Parade magazine.

And, he insists, four is all he’s going to have. “My wife [Luciana, 35] is about to have our fourth kid and we’ve drawn a line in the sand. This is it. Our lives are full and wonderful and we’re done having kids. Lucy is in her third trimester for the fourth time and I think that’s about enough to ask of any woman.”

Matt admits he hasn’t had a good night’s sleep in a long, long time

Matt’s new movie, directed by Clint Eastwood, is about what might be waiting for us after death, and he admits it’s a topic that comes up with his daughters. “I think what’s important for kids to know is that your decisions here on earth matter, your behavior matters, and how you treat other people matters. It matters here and I’m hoping that it matters in the afterlife, too. It just comes down to accountability for your own behavior that’s important.”
