Jesse James and Kat Von D are engaged — and the ink on his divorce papers are barely dry! How should Sandy handle this staggering act of betrayal?

That snake Jesse James has done it again! After getting caught cheating with a variety of low-rent ‘ladies’ right after wife Sandra Bullock won her first Academy Award, West Coast Choppers CEO is now engaged to new girlfriend Kat Von D — just seven months after his divorce was finalized. Now that the world is watching for her reaction, what should Sandy say and do?

First of all, may I express my fervent desire that there are very few men in the world that resemble Jesse in character? “You know, sometimes the public gets it wrong. This is one of those times. 2010 was actually the best year of my life because I fell in love with my best friend. An amazing woman who stood behind me when the world turned their backs,” he told People magazine, rubbing salt in Sandra’s wound by adding, “My love for her is beyond description. So honored that she said ‘yes.’ Growing old with her is going to be a a f—in’ blast!”

2010 was the best year of your life, Jesse? Really? Because getting caught cheating on the woman who was too good for you, losing your adopted son and begging her to come back in vain really sounds like a blast. At this point, I sincerely hope Sandra feels nothing for the man — no lingering sadness at the ‘what if’ of their relationship — but utter revulsion.

Still, in the wake of such blatant betrayal, the world WILL be watching to see what she’ll do. But if Sandra can come back from a cheating scandal in the midst of her big moment (because nothing really tops winning an Oscar when you’ve been an actress as long as Sandy has), then she can certainly handle this.

What Sandra DID do: she stepped out in public with son Louis Bardo looking fabulous with her head held high. When she was asked to give a statement about the impending marriage, she refused. Her lack of a comment was actually brilliant: she’s telling the world ‘Louis is the only man I need and I have more important things to worry about than my stupid ex-husband. I’m a MOTHER now.”

But what should YOU do in a similar situation? Clearly a ‘no comment’ won’t work if you’re not in the public eye. A similar nonchalant, who-cares attitude will go a long way, though. It’s no use crying over spilt milk or a closed chapter (in public, at least). If a mutual friend asks if you’ve heard the news and how you’re doing, simply channel Sandra and act like you don’t care. “I’ve heard, good for him,” will do. Or say: “Everyone deserves to be happy!” and quickly change the topic. Don’t show any emotion whatsoever, or any indication that you might be hurting — it isn’t worth giving your ex that satisfaction.

For the record, I’m on board with Sandra‘s “no comment” answer — but I seriously hope she has a punching bag in the shape of Jesse’s head at home.

Now that Ryan and Sandra’s friendship has reportedly blossomed into a romance, Ryan can finally have what he begged ex Scarlett Johansson for — a child. “Being with Sandra and Louis feels like a perfect fit,” an insider tells Star. “They’re kind of like a little family already.”

Funnyman Ryan, 34, has thought about becoming a dad for a long time. “Ryan is a natural with kids, and he’s really taken to Louis,” the insider says. “He’s always playing with him, rocking him to sleep and even changing his diapers!” Louis is “already in love” with Ryan and finally has a strong and loving male figure to be around.

“Seeing how happy Sandra and Louis are with a good man like Ryan in their life should be a slap in the face to Jesse [James],” another source tells Star. “He could have had all that too, but he messed it up. Sandra’s getting payback.” We think this budding romance is a little more than payback. “Ryan makes her so happy, she can’t stop smiling,” a different source adds. “He makes her laugh, which she needs in her life after what she went through.”

Now that it’s time to go back to work, Sandra Bullock is realizing that she will miss the quality time she has gotten to spend with her 1-year-old adopted son, Louis! After a whirlwind year — winning an Oscar for her performance in The Blind Side, discovering her now ex-husband Jesse James’ infidelity and raising Louis as a single mother — Sandra, 46, has found comfort in her little man and is reportedly not ready to head back to a movie set yet.

“Sandra hasn’t had much to do since adopting Louis, so she’s a little upset to have so much coming up,” a friend tells InTouch magazine. The adorable duo just spent their first Christmas together, which was very special for the new mom. “Sandra was never more happy than she was during the holiday season, shopping for toys and gifts for her little boy,” a source says.

But after a great Christmas and lots of bonding time with Louis, it’s time for Sandra to return to Hollywood after a well-earned hiatus. She will begin filming her latest movie, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, in New York with Tom Hanks in January and is also set to star alongside Ryan Reynolds (who she’s been romantically linked to) in Most Wanted. “She didn’t realize she would feel this way, but she really enjoyed being able to dedicate herself to Louis for the past year,” the friend says. It must be hard now that Sandra has become familiar with her mommy routine to then have to change her schedule.

“The truth is, Louis probably saved Sandra from months of pain and heartbreak with his sweet little smile,” the source says. “She wants to spend as much time with him as she can.”

Sandra Bullock, 46, was spotted out in the chilly New York City air yesterday (Nov. 3) with her bundle of joy, Louis Bardo – who turns 1 next month! The Academy Award-winning actress held tightly on to her baby, who sported a bright orange puffy jacket! He looks pretty cozy and warm!

Sandra may be the most powerful actress in the world, but to Louis she’s just mom!

Sandra began the adoption process of Louis from New Orleans with her ex-husband Jesse James, but after the couple’s split, Sandra decided to adopt Louis alone and raise him as a single mother. “No one understands the shift in priorities about having a child in your life, that you are responsible for, until you have a child in your life,” she said to Matt Lauer on the Today Show. ”It naturally shifts. It just shifted the day I met him, and it was like he’d been there the whole time and yet everything was different. Louis’ got the stage.”

Sandra Bullock makes millions of dollars per film, but we’re guessing the Oscar-winning actress would rather spend time with her 9-month-old son Louis Bardo than hang out on a movie set! After returning home from a weeklong getaway to Anguilla, the 46-year-old juggled childcare with puppy training as she took baby Louis and her pets to a Train My Dogs store near her Austin, Texas, home. The down-to-earth mom toted Louis around on her hip and showed off her laid-back style in a pair of cut-off jean shorts and sneakers.

The A-list actress just beat out actresses like Julia Roberts and Angelina Jolie to be named the world’s most powerful actress on Entertainment Weekly magazine’s Power List. “She’s the most sought-after actress in Hollywood right now,” a source tells Us magazine, adding that she’s been slow to take on new projects. After a whirlwind year with many ups and downs, including a highly publicized divorce from Jesse James and an ordeal involving a longtime stalker Thomas Weldon, Sandra has taken a break from her career to spend time with her Louis and focus on her new role as a mother.

Although she is set to return to work alongside Ryan Reynolds in the new comedy Most Wanted, Louis continues to be Sandra’s number 1 priority. “Sandra hasn’t said anything about dating or if she wants more kids,” says an insider to Us, “but she loves being a mom.”

Even a staffer at her Austin cafe, Bess Bistro, notices how much Sandy adores her baby boy! “She holds him constantly. I don’t even know if he can walk!”

It was vacation time for Sandra Bullock and her 9-month-old son, Louis Bardo Bullock! Along with her sister and brother-in-law, Sandra took her recently adopted son on a week-long trip down to the Caribbean where they were spotted at the Viceroy Anguilla, People magazine reports.

The family appeared to have a ton of fun! “The group looked very festive at dinner, laughing and toasting over a long meal and Sandra in particular looked relaxed,” a source said.

Sandra, 46, and her family reportedly stayed in the hotel’s private villa but made frequent trips to the pool with Louis (with his toys in tow) and even took a day trip to a nearby private island for an ocean swim.

The busy mom also made sure to take some much-needed personal time for herself during the tropical getaway as she visited the spa a few times for some massages and caught a sunset, cocktail in hand, from the resort’s Sunset Lounge.

Sandra Bullock sat down with Today Show host Matt Lauer for a heart-to-heart interview. The new mom revealed that even though she appears to be “Miss Congeniality” it’s in your best interest NOT to cross her!

Sandra Bullock makes it clear that she won’t tolerate betrayal in her interview with Matt Lauer that aired Aug. 31 on the Today Show. “I will take them down,” the new mom of baby Louis, 7 months, reveals during her chat with Matt.

She explains that Louis’ adoption, which began four years ago, was kept secret by “good people with integrity.”

“Human beings exist that have integrity that know how to keep their mouth shut. That know the bigger picture, that don’t sell out their friends,” Sandra says. “I was blessed with the same friends I’ve had since before things got really special for me and blessed in life. And when things get bad, they’re still the same friends. And –you know, it — everything passes. It all passes. But they just, you know, they know if they screw up they’re not coming on the next vacation. I’m not going to babysit their kids. I will cut them. I will take them down.”

Yikes! But if you’d been betrayed as publicly as Sandra was earlier this year when her husband Jesse James‘ indiscretions with heavily tattooed Michelle “Bombshell” McGee came to light, you might feel the same way too. Adding to her fierce demeanor — her new son, who has brought out Sandra’s protective instincts.

Sandra calls Louis, who was born in New Orleans, her “little Cajun Cookie,” and admits that she didn’t think she’d end up with a son when she began the adoption process.

“Everything works out the way the universe wants it to work out,” she says in the interview which airs tomorrow morning.”We don’t have any boys in our family. Boy, is everyone really happy about that. So, he’s like the crown prince. You know, it’s nothing but girls in our family … It was just the hierarchy that needed to be broken.”
