Everyone’s favorite half-god (sorry, Hercules!) will return to his thieving roots this summer in Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, and now we finally have our first look at Logan Lerman‘s highly anticipated sequel to 2010′s Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief. In this follow-up adventure, Percy and his feisty band of half-immortal buddies must travel to the Bermuda Triangle (aka the “Sea of Monsters”) to retrieve a golden fleece and resurrect a powerful ancient force. You know, just your average summer with friends.

The trailer for The Perks of Being a Wallflower debuted at the MTV Movie Awards — and it looks really good! In the coming of age book-turned-film by Stephen Chbosky, an introverted freshman (Logan Lerman) is taken under the wings by two seniors (Emma Watson and Ezra Miller) who welcome him to the real world.

Are too excited for The Perks of Being a Wallflower to wait until it hits theaters in 2012? Thanks to shutterbug Logan Lerman, we don’t have to! The movie’s star tweeted a ton of photos from the Pittsburgh, Pa., set June 8 — and his collection features some of our favorite people ever, including Nina Dobrev and Emma Watson!

One of the highlights of our week is watching the beautiful and talented Nina Dobrev star on the CW’s The Vampire Diaries, but now we have a feature film to look forward to as well! Our sister site, Deadline, is reporting the 22-year-old actress has just landed a role in the much-anticipated movie, The Perks of Being A Wallflower, starring Emma Watson and Logan Lerman!

Produced by Summit (yes, the same company who made Twilight) and based on the Stephen Chbosky novel, The Perks of Being a Wallflower tells the story of Charlie, an introverted teen who learns everything from drug use to suicide from his step brothers. Nina will be playing the role of Candace.

Congrats, Nina! We know a lot of young actresses auditioned for the part — but you deserved it completely!

Whether or not you think a Spider-Man reboot is necessary, it’s happening, so we might as well make the best of it. Despite recent reports, that Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief star Logan Lerman, 18, is at the front of the line to suit up as the webbed super hero Sony insiders say not so fast. According to Deadline.com Logan is not going to play Spider-Man and he’s not “even on the list of candidates being seriously considered.”

We can’t wait to find out who WILL play the next wall climbing super hero!

It’s not surprising that Logan scored the role, considering he’s appeared with Mel Gibson TWICE (in What Women Want and The Patriot) and Russell Crowe in 3:10 Yuma.

Hello, hottie! Sexy Jack Huston, 27, is destined to steal some screen time from fellow Brit Robert Pattinson in Twilight Saga: Eclipse come 2010. He’s pedigreed, too! Jack – who appeared on the now-canceled ABC series Eastwick – is the nephew of famed actress Angelica Huston and grandson of late director John Huston.

5. Adrianne Palicki

Fans of the gorgeous Adrianne Palicki were sad to see her leave Friday Night Lights and Supernatural this season, but should be totally happy she’s making a move to the big screen. The leggy 26-year-old will star in not one but TWO major movies next year: the religious epic Legion and the remake of Red Dawn alongside Chris Hemsworth.

6. Jaden Smith

There was never any doubt that Will Smith’s 11-year-old, Jaden Smith, was going to be a star! Perhaps Will is ready to pass the torch to his son, who first appeared on the big screen with his dad in 2007’s Pursuit of Happyness. Get ready to see him kick butt this 2010 alongside Jackie Chan in the Karate Kid remake.

You’re going to be curiouser and curiouser about 20-year-old Mia Waksikowska after you see her step into the shoes of Alice Kingsley in Tim Burton’s big screen version of Alice in Wonderland. We’re already jealous of the actress – who appeared in HBO’s In Treatment – because she gets to star alongside Sexiest Man Alive Johnny Depp!

We only have one thing to say about Grey’s Anatomy’s newest resident, Jesse Williams: yum. Rihanna agrees – the 28-year-old actor appeared in her music video for Russian Roulette. Next up for the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 star: Antoine Fuqua’s long-delayed cop drama, Brooklyn’s Finest, and the thriller Cabin in the Woods.

9. Chris Hemsworth

Although all eyes were on Chris Pine in 2009 as Captain Kirk in J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek revamp, it was hard to forget hunky Chris Hemsworth’s performance as Kirk’s dad, George. Expect the Australian hottie, 26 – the older brother of Miley Cyrus’ beau, Liam –  to blow up in 2010 as he prepares to enter the Marvel universe as Thor, and steps into the late Patrick Swayze’s shoes in the remake of Red Dawn.

10. Joe Mangienello

Bonjour, Bon Temps! Joe Mangienello, 33, is the latest star to think vampires are bloody good fun (and bloody financially lucrative). Joe, who formerly appeared on How I Met Your Mother and One Tree Hill, will play an aide sent by Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) to help Sookie (Anna Paquin) and Bill (Stephen Moyer) in True Blood’s third season.
