Jill’s looking to a bright new future now that she is no longer a housewife! Read on for all the details of her new manager!

Former The Real Housewives of New York City star Jill Zarin is moving in a new direction since parting with Bravo. She has enlisted former The Hills star Lo Bosworth as her West Coast manager to help her take the next steps in her busy Hollywood career!

Lo joined Octagon, a sports and entertainment agency, back in June as a Manager of Client Services and Project Development.

“Yes, I recently introduced Jill to Octagon and we are thrilled that they have joined her team,” Jill’s longtime manager Darren Bettencourt confirmed to HollywoodLife.com when we ran into him at an event in NYC on Oct. 20. “Not only do Lo and [her boss] John represent the best talent such as Dr. Drew Pinsky, Piers Morgan and Nancy O’Dell but they also orchestrated their television deals which are some of the most high-profile in the alternative television space.”

Darren added: “Lo is very smart and has a unique advantage in the business because she has experience in front of the camera so she can relate to clients on a different level. Jill has a fantastic team and Gwen Wunderlich continues as her publicist.”

Lauren Conrad went more natural and classic while Lo Bosworth’s look was bold and fresh. Both girls worked it for the camera, but which starlet takes the cake?

In the other corner, we have her bestie, reality star/designer/author Lauren Conrad, sporting a very 1940′s inspired style with cascading waves one side and tucked behind the ear on the other for charming effect. LA is HOT — and we’re not referring to local residents like Megan Fox! Downtown Los Angeles hit a shocking record high of 113 degrees Sept. 27, the hottest temp ever recorded for LA! Even though celebs like Ryan Seacrest and Lo Bosworth are tweeting about the unbearable heat, some members of Hollywood are actually making their way out of the shade!

We spotted Britney Spears in itty-bitty shorts and a tanktop, visiting her boyfriend, Jason Trawick at his work. Tori Spelling managed to look super fresh, while filming an Extra segment at the Grove with Mario Lopez.  Even Jennifer Garner stepped out with her mini-me Violet, 4, to grab some frozen yogurt!

Who wore French Connection better?

Lo Bosworth and Amber Lancaster have a lot in common — not only have these gorgeous gals both starred in popular MTV shows, they share the same taste when it comes to style!

Lo, former reality star from The Hills, celebrated the launch of her new lifestyle blog TheLoDown.com at Lavo in Las Vegas on Sept. 3, and opted for the French Connection Dance Daisy Dress. She paired it with minimal accessories, including a turquoise Chanel purse.

Meanwhile, The Hard Times of RJ Berger star Amber wore the exact same dress earlier this summer, to the French Connection Fall 2010 Collection Celebration at the Soho House in Los Angeles on Aug. 17. She also kept the accessories to a bare minimum, opting for a few bracelets, and nude pumps, which were very similar to Lo’s.

I really like that both girls kept it simple because it makes the dress stand out more. Though I must say, I think Amber definitely wins this battle! It fits her flawlessly, and she just looks like she’s having more fun! Either way, Lo and Amber were smart to wear this adorable (and affordable!) number. Considering long-sleeved minis are one of the hottest trends this fall, I’m not surprised both girls stepped out sporting this get-up! Lo Bosworth pays tribute to one of her favorite designers by wearing the French Connection Rebecca Beads dress ($228) to the French Connection Fall 2010 Collection at Soho House in LA on Aug. 17th. She kept her look simple and chic by pairing it with an understated but sexy updo, a black bag, and black peep-toes.

Louise Roe was next to show us her unique take on the mini when she wore it to the Kari Feinstein Primetime Emmy Awards Style Lounge in LA on Aug. 27th. Roe paired it with a chunkier heel and let her cascading locks mirror the design on the dress. However, in this showdown I think the winner is clear: I cant get enough of Lo’s super-polished look!
