So far this season of Project Runway has been better than ever — and with Kim Kardashian serving as guest judge and the first-ever outdoor fashion show it looks like the trend will continue! This week, Heidi Klum came up with a unique challenge that utilizes the most volume and fabric — models on stilts! This will really give everyone a chance to show what they can do, and they have a larger than usual $500 budget for supplies!

What better way to display these ‘larger than life’ models than on an outdoor runway? Though she was sad the weather didn’t go according to plan, she thinks it will be a great opportunity and successful event.

New designer Kim goes into the episode trying to be fair, but says she will offer up constructive criticism if necessary. She thinks it will be cool to help the next big fashion designer get a start, and hints she is looking for new names in her stores, too! Click here to view clip.

It’s a talented tot face-off tonight! Our old favorite ‘Toddlers & Tiaras’ is going up against Lifetime’s new show ‘Dance Moms.’ Which will you watch?

HollyBaby.com recently got a sneak peek at Dance Moms and we’re OBSESSED. It follows Abby Lee‘s School of Dance, the young girls that attend and their mothers. The girls work each week towards winning a new dance competition — think Toddlers & Tiaras of the competitive dance world. Abby rules her school with an iron fist and has no problem calling the police when one of the moms gets too feisty. We’ve only seen the first episode, but we can tell this show will be FILLED with drama! Will YOU watch?

One Born Every Minute had its network’s most watched unscripted series debut, getting more viewers than Jon & Kate Plus 8! But what did you think of the show? Fun to watch or T.M.I.?

Narrated by Jamie Lee Curtis, One Born Every Minute is a new docu-series that takes a close look inside the maternity ward at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, where tons of women face their final stage of pregnancy. Let’s just say, nothing is left un-exposed! The show documents the intimate details of delivery, including the birth, the pain, the drugs and the intense mothers — and fathers — struggling through one of life’s most amazing moments. But is it a little too much to handle? And would you have let these cameras in the delivery room?

The first episode premiered on Tuesday, Feb. 1 at 10 p.m. with an averaged 740,000 viewers aged 18-49, making it Lifetime’s most watched unscripted series premiere. The episode entitled “To Medicate Or Not? That is the Question” focused on women deciding how to manage their labor pains. There was an epidural, a C-section, a birth plan and even a doula! All unique experiences, especially the couple who struggled through a natural birth, while the nurses made faces! NOT okay!

It was very similar to other shows, including Birth Day and A Baby Story, which expose every aspect of the birthing experience. The one thing different though was that it was pretty hysterical, especially when one boyfriend left the hospital to go to Walmart and pick up baby gear while his partner was in labor! But, I have to say I am now even more terrified of giving birth than I was before. Those women were in PAIN!

Luckily, the opening of the show made me chuckle and forget the future pain I will be enduring — it seems terrible when a dad drops his cell phone on his newborn baby when trying to snap a photo, but I got a good giggle out of it. HollyMoms, did you watch the show? What were your thoughts — TMI?!

Don’t kids just say the darndest things? Well, the mom of four will be capturing all of their “insightful” thoughts on her new series, Seriously Funny Kids!

Former supermodel Heidi Klum may have recently retired from Victoria’s Secret, but that doesn’t mean we won’t be seeing plenty of her in the future. Along with hosting Lifetime’s hit show Project Runway and working on a reality show with her husband, Seal, the 37-year-old has signed on for a new gig as host of Lifetime’s new unscripted series Seriously Funny Kids!

The new show will feature the mom of four talking with children across the country. “Someone once said never work with children and animals … so I decided to drop the animals and stick with the kids,” Heidi says of the new show. “Naptime, playtime and snack time are my favorites, so is it any wonder that kids and I get along so well?”

“I have four children under the age of six [daughters Leni, 6 and Lou, 1 and sons Henry, 5 and Johan, 3], and to be honest, sometimes I enjoy them more than adults,” Heidi adds. “They’re uncensored, unpredictable and absolutely hilarious. The kids will be the absolute stars of this show.”

The series, which is set to debut in 2011, will be 20 half-hour episodes focusing on Heidi playing around with children and highlight the silly and intriguing things that they say!

Two mothers struggle to help their daughters when one begins being physically abused by her boyfriend in the poignant new television film.

It is every mothers worst fear — that one of their daughters might be being abused by a loved one. Lifetime is tackling this very subject with their latest film Reviving Opehelia, loosely based on the much heralded novel of the same name.

In the television movie, two sisters (Jane Kaczmarek and Kim Dickens), must try and help their daughters (Rebecca Williams and Carleigh Beverly) when one begins being abused by her boyfriend.

The first day of school is always a big deal! But Chyler’s son couldn’t wait to go to school! What did you and your kids do to get ready for their first day back?

Today was a big day for Grey’s Anatomy star Chyler Leigh, 28, and husband Nathan West, 31 — their oldest, 6-year-old son Noah Wilde, went to school!  But, it wasn’t any ordinary first back-to-school day … “Today, my husband and I dropped my son off for his first day of first grade,” Chyler shared during a Sept. 8 conference call for her new Lifetime movie The 19th Wife (which airs Sept. 13). “He was very excited about first grade. He [even] helped us pack his backpack!”

“I think the fact that both of us were able to be there was special,” continued Chyler. “It’s not always so easy for us to be there.”

“It was a really big weekend and there was a lot to do [to get Noah ready],” Chyler added. Not only was the couple preparing Noah for his big day, but the family also celebrated their older daughter Taelyn Leigh‘s 4th birthday. (They also have a 18-month-old daughter, Anniston Kae a.k.a “Annie.”)

“We did this Disney Land trip where she got to be a complete and total princess,” Chyler gushed. “Head to toe, she princessed out!” Awww!

It sounds like it’s been a crazy few days for Chyler and Nathan. But HollyMoms, can you relate to Chyler’s back-to-school frenzy?

Sound the alarm! It looks like one of the Project Runway contestants gets physically taken away for stealing someone else’s design!

The competition is about to get very serious on second episode of Project Runway’s eighth season! “There’s an accusation about cheating,” mentor Tim Gunn tells the competing designers in the dramatic episode. And then … SMACK! Someone gets punched in the face, an ambulances arrives, someone gets rushed to the emergency room AND someone else gets put on a respirator. OMG!

“You copied my dress,” designer Michael Costello shouts at someone.

“What the hell were you thinking,” says Nicholas D’Aurizio!

“This gift and talent is a curse to me,” cries Mondo Guerra.

“I am a silent assassin when it comes to competitions,” says Andy South!

From what we can tell from the video, it looks as though maybe A.J. Thouvenot punches Michael Drummond. Then, we see possibly Andy South on a respirator? And, the person being rushed to the emergency room is definitely a girl!

“If anybody said a word, I would straighten them out,” troublemaker Jason Troisi swears.

As A.J. says, “everything you know about Project Runway is out the window” for sure on this new episode.

McKell may have been kicked off, but designers Casanova, Jason Troisi and Iva Higa still need to watch their backs — they could be sent home next!

It wasn’t just a regular premiere July 29 for the eighth season of Lifetime’s Project Runway. It was still audition time for the designers and one of them just didn’t make the cut. Host Heidi Klum, judges Michael Kors and Nina Garcia and guest judge Selma Blair sent 29-year-old McKell Maddox packing!

But, McKell wasn’t the only ones the judges were tempted to cut loose; they also called out designers Casanova, Jason Troisi and Ivy Higa for their questionable designs.

The first challenge began with Heidi asking the contestants to “please open up [your bags] and pull out one item you would like to incorporate into your garment … now pass it to the person on your right.”

For designer Casanova, this meant giving up a pair of Dolce & Gabbana pants that cost him more than $1,000 and watching competitor Valerie Mayen rip them to shreds!

For his own design, Casanova received a silk blouse that he turned into something the judges described as a dress for “a pole dancer in Dubai.” It was “unusually” revealing and barely covered the model. You could even see her butt crack!

Another competitor asked to defend his design, Jason, basically just turned the dress he received inside out and put it on the model backwards. Jason openly admitted you could see the staples he used to hold the piece together. Selma must have been the one who saved him, because she thought the piece had an usual take.

Ivy was the other designer to face the judges because, like Jason, she just took a pair of pants and just rearranged the stitching. It was a tough challenge for her, but the judges kept her around to see if her attitude and work ethic will change.

After seeing these three designers’ work, I think all three should have been sent home — but the judges seemed more forgiving since it was the first episode.

The winner of the first challenge was 28-year-old Gretchen Jones.
