Camila and her partner Matthew McConaughey don’t want to miss a moment of their kids’ childhoods. “Every stage is something new and exciting,” Camila says!

How cute! It was grocery shopping time for mommy Camila Alves, 28, and her 8-month-old daughter Vida Alves McConaughey on Sept. 15. The mommy-baby pair picked up some fresh fruit, vegetables and some pretty flowers from the farmer’s market in Santa Monica, CA — probably getting ready to make dinner for daddy Matthew McConaughey, 40, and 2-year-old brother Levi Alves McConaughey.

Camila  and Matthew just love to spend time with their kids, even if it’s just doing regular everyday chores. “Every stage they go through, it is something different and new and exciting,” Camila gushes to People. “I try to keep life as simple as I can.” Aww!

It’s nice to hear that Camila and Matthew value the important moments in life, like being with their family and watching their kids grow!

Can you believe how fast Matthew McConaughey’s one-year-old picked up his motto: the less clothes, the better?

Like father, like son! Matthew McConaughey‘s one-and-a-half-year-old son Levi has already picked up on the fact that less clothes means more — more stares from the ladies, that is!

Taking a cue from his handsome pop, the adorable toddler went on a leisurely, shirtless stroll near his Malibu, Cali. home April 1 — even hand-picking some wild flowers, possibly for mom Camilla Alves or his baby sis, Vida (which brings us to Life Lesson #2: to win over the ladies, say it with flowers!).

Congratulations, Matt & Camila! We bet she’s beautiful.

“Happy New Year everybody!!!” Matthew McConaughey excitedly wrote on his official Web site today. “On Sunday, Jan. 3rd at 12:13am, Camila gave bith to a healthy 7 lb. 7 oz. baby girl named ‘Vida Alves McConaughey.’” Matthew explains that the name “Vida” means “life” in Portuguese, “and that’s exactly what God gave us this morning.” He says mommy Camila Alves is “recovering wonderfully.”

“We are both truly honored to welcome this little lady into our family,” Matthew continues. “Thanks for all your well wishes and prayers along the way. Another blessed day. We give thanks. Just keep livin.”

Vida is the couple’s second child together. Their son, Levi Alves McConaughey, was born July 7, 2008.
