This Is 40 is director Judd Apatow‘s latest comedy masterpiece! He’s given us past blockbusters like Knocked Up, The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Superbad and his newest project will have you in stitches just like his past hits. The movie centers around married couple Deb (Leslie Mann) and Pete (Paul Rudd), and their two children, on the week of their 40th birthdays. The film follows their struggles of getting healthy, spending more quality time with their kids and spicing up their sex life. Though some scenes verge on vulgar (don’t bring your kid brother), you’ll be LOL-ing from your seat throughout the entire movie!

Here are five reasons to see the flick:

1) The script is honest and real.

The cast is hysterical, but the dialogue will have you thinking, I’ve had the same conversation with my family! Between the funny moments, there are almost heartfelt scenes that are honest, real and raw.

2) You don’t have to be 40 to appreciate it. 

You don’t have to be 40, married or have kids to appreciate the flick. It’s relatable for everyone!

3) The kids are scene-stealers!

Debbie and Pete’s children, Charlotte and Sadie, are hysterical! The kids are Judd and Leslie’s real-life children — Maude and Iris Apatow — and they obviously inherited the funny gene!

4) There are a lot of celeb cameos!

Do yourself a favor and don’t check the IMDB page — there are a bunch of unexpected cameos from super funny actors (and musicians!). The surprise will be worth it!

5) The cast has amazing chemistry.

It helps that the two kids are actually Leslie’s own daughters, but her relationship with Paul is believable and effortless.

When Leslie Mann turned up in LA on Mar. 16 wearing the ruched Lanvin dress from the spring 2011 collection, paired with Louboutin peep toes, she looked amazing — but that wasn’t the first time we saw this super popular frock!

Crooning Gwyneth Paltrow was the first to debut a shorter version of the get-up last year on stage at the CMA Awards in Nashville. Right after Gwyn showed off her gams, the svelte Chelsea Clinton paired a longer version with tights on Dec. 17 at the The Clinton Foundation’s Millennium Network Event in LA.

The third time we spotted the dress was on Abbie Cornish, at the NYC premiere of Limitless on Mar. 8, where she paired the frock with black satin Stuart Weitzman peep toes, a black VHB clutch, and Broken English jewelry.

While only Gwyn opted for the shorter version, I wish Chelsea and Abbie did the same — although I think Leslie did a great job at working the longer version! Who do you think wore it better?

Megan Fox could be knocked up pretty soon! Director Judd Apatow is hinting that the stick-thin actress will be part of the followup to his big smash Knocked Up.

Megan is in talks to co-star in the new movie, according to The Hollywood Reporter. What part she play isn’t known just yet.

But imagine Megan, the poster girl for stars who are just too thin, proudly sporting her own baby bump! Even if make-believe, it would be quite the sight.

Apatow — who says the spinoff will feature his wife Leslie Mann and Paul Rudd, two of the original’s co-stars –won’t say if Megan is in or out. But he’s making it look like she’s close to a deal. He retweeted a FirstShowing article about Megan coming onboard. He also retweeted a fan tweet that said, ”i am SO excited to see Megan in your film. it is such an interesting choice alongside rudd and your wife but i love this idea!!”

A role in this followup to the 2007 hit that starred Katherine Heigl, should do wonders for Megan’s stalled movie career. Her latest, Passion Play, co-starring Mickey Rourke, won’t get wide release before it goes out on DVD.

If there is one man who has worked on some of the best comedic films of our generation, it is Judd Apatow. From Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Step Brothers to Pineapple Express and Get Him To The Greek, Judd has either produced, written and directed them all. And luckily he met his now wife Leslie Mann — on the set of The Cable Guy – and brought into the world two adorable daughters, Maude, 12, and Iris, 7, who have starred alongside their mom in both Knocked Up and Funny People! It’s a family operation!

The funny man, who obviously has quite the sense of humor, once told a story about how he dealt with feeding his newborn daughter. “One terrible thing I did is when my wife Leslie had our first child, I didn’t know what to do with a baby. I was at my friend’s house and the baby was three months old and the baby was hungry,” he said. “As a moron, I had forgotten to bring food for the baby. But my friend’s wife had just had a baby, so I asked her to breastfeed my child.” Well, we hope you never do that again, Judd! But we also hope you have a fantastic and funny birthday with your friends Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, Jeremy Segal and Jonah Hill!

In the new animated flick Rio, which is set to come out April 8, 2011, a domesticated mascaw named Blu (Jesse Eisenberg) meets the free bird of his dreams, Jewel (Anne Hathaway), and heads out on an adventure to Rio de Janeiro, bumping — or shall we say flying — into a bunch of friends along the way! In the trailer, we learn that Blu, being the pet bird he is, can’t fly, so we wonder how the heck he’s going to make it to Rio! Do you think this would be a film your kids would enjoy? We do! Rio Trailer

You would think after getting glam for the Met Ball these ladies would need a night off, but that wasn’t the case when they stepped out for Time‘s 100 most influential people in the world gala at Lincoln Center on May 4! While there were additions to the red carpet — like Lea Michele, (who once again stepped out looking stunning in a chic dress), and Leslie Mann — there were also some familiar faces from the night before like Taylor Swift, Giuliana Rancic, and Demi Moore!

Taylor, who seems to have shed her girly get-ups for a sexy, sophisticated new look really stood out last night in her black J. Mendel dress. I know most of you loved her at the Met Ball, but I thought last night she looked much more confident and chic in her little black frock, landing her on my best dressed list, right along with Lea Michele. I’m always excited to see Lea on the carpet because of her stellar choices, and last night wasn’t an exception. As for Demi, she let me down two nights in a row! Hopefully she’ll stop picking these cheap looking get-ups and go back to getting glam! What did you think?
