Lance Bass has some advice for One Direction: stay in the closet! Once one fifth of the world’s hottest boy band, Lance spent years hiding the fact that he was gay because he feared it would ruin his career. Speaking on The Rubin Report on May 2, Lance said that “statistically” one member of 1D could be gay, and that if they came out it would “ruin” their business plan. Read on and watch the video!

Lance Bass Talks About One Direction Being Gay

Lance, 33, came out in 2006, and he appeared on a very famous cover of PEOPLE magazine. When asked about One Direction, Lance had some controversial advice about how they should manage their brand.

“If you took one of these One Direction kids, because they basically are kids, my guess is one of them is gay,” said Dave Rubin, and Lance had an interesting reply:

Well, statistically speaking, one probably is. It’s crazy with a market like that because 100 percent is young women. And they fantasize about these guys, and then you have the record label and everyone grooming you to make sure that you don’t even mention you have a girlfriend. So screw the fact that you’re gonna come out as being gay. It ruins their whole business plan.

However, Lance insists via Twitter that he did not state that a member of 1D was gay, but just that it is possible.

Well it’s all OK, because the One Direction boys are not offended! A source close to band EXCLUSIVELY tells HollywoodLife.com:

There is no feud nor is there any ill will towards Lance, because he didn’t say anything bad. Nor did he out anyone. None of the members of the band are gay, but if they were nobody would be scared because the boys aren’t homophobic. Most likely the boys aren’t going to mention it and let it be forgotten.

The One Direction boys are so mature! And they are right not be scared of coming out, because it is obvious that Lance was miserable for all the years that he kept his sexuality a secret.

Justin Timberlake has broken out of the shadow of his former boy band *NSYNC and apparently, the guys aren’t so close anymore, according to a new report. Two of the four bandmates weren’t even invited to his wedding with Jessica Biel! See who was snubbed and why below!

According to US Weekly, JC Chasez and Chris Kirkpatrick were invited while Lance Bass and Joey Fatone didn’t receive invites.

“Justin thought a reunion would overshadow the wedding,” a friend told US. “And Justin hates Lance now.”

Even without the former friends, Justin and Jessica had a “magical” night, handwriting their own vows, which were “filled with our love for each other and what this means for us,” Justin told People.

All eyes were on Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries as they celebrated their sexy nuptials — again — in the Big Apple, and they did it in a way only a Kardashian couple could. We’re talking bondage-inspired violinists, acrobats and feathered palm trees!

The party, dubbed an evening of “style and glamour,” was thrown by Kim’s friend, Niche Media founder Jason Binn, and celebrity wedding and party planner Colin Cowie. It was held at Capitale, an event space located in a building built in 1895 in lower Manhattan’s Chinatown neighborhood.

Aside from Kim’s older sister Kourtney and her partner Scott Disick, guests included the star of VH1′s Lala’s Full Court Life, Lala Vasquez; boybander-turned-SiriusXM host Lance Bass; Spin Crowd stars Jonathan Cheban and Simon Huck; socialite Tinsley Mortimer; The Real Housewives of New York City stars Alex McCord, Simon van Kempen, Sonja Morgan and Ramona Singer; Dina Manzo of The Real Housewives of New Jersey; Fox News’ Greta van Susteren; celebrity stylist Phillip Bloch, boxer Eric Kelly; and the stars of NBC New York’s Moms & The City, Raina Seitel-Gittlin, Denise Albert and Melissa Gerstein. And a seemingly random celebrity guest? Musical mastermind Paul Shaffer from The Late Show With David Letterman.

Party-goers began arriving around 7 p.m., and filled Capitale’s massive 4,000-square-foot space, which has a 65-foot high ceiling! While guests waited for Kim and Kris to arrive — which they eventually did around 9:15 p.m. — waiters served hors d’oeuvres, including tuna tartar and crabcakes. Two bars for non-VIP partygoers were set up along the space’s east side, while a closed-off VIP area, with seating and tables, lined the west side of the space. In the center, a dance floor and banquettes. There was even an Avion tequila bar, also in the VIP area.

When Kim and Kris arrived, Kris walked ahead of her down the red carpet, while she took additional photos. Then Kim and Kris, flanked by Kourtney, Jason Binn, and Colin Cowie, appeared on the mezzanine. A spotlight shone on them — a camera crew was capturing every moment — and Jason welcomed them.

Kim said, “Let’s party New York!” before Kris grabbed the mic and joked, “Where’s Scott?” He looked at the VIP area, where Scott was — but guess who was noticeably missing? Scott Disick!

In fact, before Kim and Kris took to the mezzanine, HollywoodLife.com spotted Scott walking into the party without Kourtney, and he even bypassed the red carpet! He was walking pretty quickly, clearly making a beeline for the VIP area, and he looked a bit pissed off! Something was definitely up.

But when the Kardashian clan left the party, around 11 p.m., they all returned to the same mezzanine to bid adieu — this time, with Scott in tow. Scott grabbed the mic and joked that he didn’t like Kris, but even that seemed kind of odd.

During the evening, Kim and Kris spent time in the VIP area, and at one point, went to the center of the dance floor to light the candles on a five-tier cake that was black and white — just like her original wedding cake! Kim looked like a porcelain doll, in a tan silk gown, with her diamond wedding ring in full view. Kris wore a three-piece suit.

Partygoers then watched a female violinist, wearing a black bondage-inspired outfit, play the violin to dance tracks, followed by acrobats who climed up and down a series of white sheets that spanned the space’s height. Finally, guests spent the remainder of the evening dancing to a tracklist featuring songs like “Only Girl” by Rihanna, “Tonight” by Enrique Iglesias and “Give Me Everything” by Pitbull and Ne-Yo and “Yeah 3x” by Chris Brown.

Toward the end of the evening, chocolate-covered strawberries and bananas were served, as were miniature carrot cakes.

As for the decor, it was pretty basic, since the space already has a distinct architectural look: The 116-year-old room was designed in the Beaux-Arts style. But throughout the space, Colin Cowie places palm trees made from white feathers, which gave the room an elegant tropical feel.

Jamie-Lynn Sigler‘s relationship with BF Mark Sanchez seems to be heating up! He spent Saturday night karaoking with Jamie’s BFF Lance Bass! Actor Paul Zablidowsky of IFC’s Z Rock took to his twitter May 22 to say: I’m hanging out at an after party with Mark Sanchez and Justin Keller from the JETS as well Lance Bass.” Minutes later he wrote: “Jamie-Lynn Sigler just joined us. The night keeps getting better.” Paul then posted a pic of Mark and Lance following their onstage rendition of Bon Jovi‘s “Livin’ On A Prayer.” It looks like Jamie has introduced her new BF to her friends!
