After the most shocking results show in Dancing with the Stars history, HollywoodLifers were either elated or devastated by the news. How do YOU feel about Bristol Palin?

Never did I expect such a visceral reaction from readers from a simple results show story. When we wrote how Bristol Palin, Kyle Massey and Jennifer Grey made it to the finals, but Brandy was cut, the world went crazy. Some of you agree with me, Bristol, 20, has charmed Americans with her work ethic and normal personality. Others are outraged and blame the Tea Party for “ruining” one of the best shows on TV. Regardless of how you feel about the situation, you can’t help but be intrigued -– will Bristol defy the odds and win Dancing with the Stars?

IN FAVOR OF BRISTOL:

A HUGE number of Americans, Republicans, Democrats, and Independents, alike, are voting for Bristol Palin because they can relate to being told they are not enough. Everybody keeps talking about how she is not skilled enough, she not thin enough, she’s not emotive enough…but nobody ever talks about her EFFORT! Nobody seems to care how hard she has been working. Well, lots of Americans can relate to that. In my opinion, Bristol Palin is THE PEOPLES’ DANCER!

Everyone loves an underdog. Heck, I’m more upset that Kurt Warner didn’t make it to the finals. I will always root for the person with NO DANCING EXPERIENCE, which is what the show is supposed to be about. Sure, Jennifer’s a wonderful dancer, and Kyle is a good young showman, but Bristol isn’t a celebrity and has come so far with no dancing or performance experience. GO BRISTOL! This has nothing to do with politics, IMHO.

When they announced the stars I said oh god really bristol? Another famewhore to boost her ignorant mother. But I have absolutely grown to love bristol the pistol.

This is affirmative action for Bristol Palin. She’s advancing because of who she is, not because of her abilities. In fact, voters are violating a basic principle of American society – they are penalizing the other contestants, who have excelled and should be rewarded for their efforts, in favor of Bristol, who’s less deserving, to prove a political point.

I don’t care about the politcs when it comes to this but Bristol still does not deserve to be here. I don’t care how much she improved, other people improved more, were better dancers, and went home. If – please, God, if – Bristol is the first one to get booted next week I wouldn’t be surprised if the studio audience cheered her leaving.

Dancing with the Stars has become a joke! Just recently a dancer that was at the top of the leader board was eliminated and now Brandy who was expected to come in first or second was eliminated while two other couples with much less of a performance were eliminated. I don’t care to spend another night watching this program!!! It is a popularity contest void of tue competition!!!

The Russian DWTS hottie tells she knows exactly why Bristol Palin made it to the finals…and it’s not the Republican vote!

Anna Trebunskaya and partner Kurt Warner may have been eliminated weeks ago on Dancing with the Stars, but that doesn’t mean she can’t have fun breaking down why Bristol “The Pistol” Palin is now in it to win it!

HollywoodLife.com was at the Worldwide Launch of Volkswagen EOS in Santa Monica Nov. 16, and we got a chance to talk to Anna, 29, about Brandy being eliminated and Bristol powering through to the semi-finals. She told us she “kind of wished” Brandy was still in the competition, but she’s also happy to see Bristol still in the game.

“Bristol is the most normal celebrity we ever had on our show,” Anna said. “She’s just a very sweet girl from Alaska. She just kinds of quietly goes and does her thing and she ends up going through every single week.”

The red-headed beauty believes that the audience connecting with Bristol is what led her to the finals. “I think people can feel how real she is and I think everybody likes that a lot,” Anna says. After seeing the huge audience the results show received last night, we have to agree with the former DWTS professional. Let’s face it, people adore The Pistol.

From Carrie Ann and Maksim’s two minute hug to the Palin’s refraining from joining in any audience dances, HollywoodLife.com has a behind-the-scenes look at Dancing with the Stars Nov. 9 performances!

Ever wonder what happens when the cameras aren’t rolling on the Dancing with the Stars set? Well, thanks to a source that was at CBS Studios in Hollywood Nov. 9, HollywoodLife.com has the full report on all the happenings and behind the scenes scoop!

*Cheryl Burke and Derek Hough started out the night with a 50s-themed dance that was pre-taped for next week’s episode. Watch out for their romantic lip lock during the number – it’s super hot!

*Being in the DWTS live studio audience is a blast! The warm up guy got the entire audience on the floor (with some help from DWTS pro Tony Dovolani, Kyle Massey and even Brandy). They all led the audience to a dance to YMCA, which was conveniently changed to “DWTS.” All of the celebs families, including the Warner’s, Norwood’s and Massey’s, were getting their groove on. However, Bristol’s family refrained from joining in the fun – guess they must be worse dancers than Bristol!

*Kyle Massey was so happy to be there. His presence lit up the audience and he actually was the one celeb that sneaked as many chances throughout the night to watch the show in the crowd, instead of hiding backstage.

*Kurt Warner totally knew he was going home and was visibly sad throughout the whole process. There were a couple times that Bruno was watching some videos and talked privately to the other judges about how much he loved Kurt. All the judges were very sad to see Kurt go, they kept talking to each other and mentioning that each of them loved how nice he was, and how he was such a class act.

*Speaking of disappointment, the audience was bummed when it realized both of John Legend’s performances were actually pre-taped and he wasn’t in the studio. The magic of TV!

*Carrie Ann Inaba was visibly annoyed and rolled her eyes after watching the video package that showed Maksim being overly dramatic and calling out the judges. She was mad at him, but after the show completed, they both embraced and hugged for a good two minutes as Carrie Ann spoke calmly in his ear. It was nice to witness them both reconcile their differences.

*Brandy‘s daughter started crying the second Brandy was in the bottom two. Brandy saw this happening and almost started crying herself. She kept saying “don’t cry” in a comforting manner toward her daughter.

We can’t believe how much drama happens when the cameras aren’t rolling! Do you love reading about the behind-the-scenes scoop?

Can we just keep every contestant on Dancing with the Stars? Seriously, the top three are obvious, but don’t make me choose between Bristol the Pistol and Kurt!

Dancing with the Stars has turned into my own personal Sophie’s Choice! After their incredible performances Nov. 8, Brandy, Jennifer Grey and Kyle Massey must make it to the top three. The other two, Bristol Palin and Kurt Warner, are equally painful dancers, but they’re each charismatic in their own ways — don’t make me choose!

Also, note to the producers: Keep the Instant Dance forever and always! Watching the contestants prep an entire number in 20 minutes was beyond entertaining! Whoever dreamed up that idea should get a raise…

Unbelievable! America kicked off one of the highest scoring stars and kept “Bristol the Pistol” Palin even though she can’t dance to save her life!

Just like the Republicans turned out in high numbers for election day, they tuned in and voted for their right wing teen mom, Bristol Palin, on Dancing with the Stars. In a shocking turn of events during the week seven results show Nov. 2, former NBA player Rick Fox got the boot and 20-year-old Bristol remained for yet another week. Awesome!

Rick, 41, showed off his expert showmanship and pointed out the highlights of his competitive dance career.

“Cheryl, amazing job working with a tall, jolly, green giant,” he told Brooke Burke after getting the ax. “What I’ll take out of this competition is a friendship with Cheryl and, hopefully, 15 to 20 new dance moves.”

My personal favorites, Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer, were dangerously close to getting cut — I’m so relieved they made it!

Since we’re clearly not basing our votes on TALENT, let’s kick off Kurt Warner next week and keep the entertaining folks! (Long live Bristol!)

It’s week seven and Dancing with the Stars is getting juicy! Now that the contestants have improved their skills, their personalities are key to staying in the race!

Going into performances on the 200th episode celebration of Dancing with the Stars, there was concern the dancers might not even make it to the stage. Between their insane rehearsal schedules, their press obligations AND their personal lives, both the dancers and their stars were reportedly on their last limbs. However, I NEVER would have known every DWTS cast member was weak with exhaustion when I was watching the live show — all of their dances were nearly flawless!

Despite scoring the least amount of points of the evening, I want Bristol the Pistol to stay and Kurt “I’m a Snooze fest” Warner to say goodbye during the results show Nov. 2. What do you guys think? Who should stay…and more importantly right now, who should go?

OH, NO! As the competition intensifies, the contestants AND their trainers are putting it into high gear…and almost burning out in the process!

Every week America watches as our favorite celebrities fight for survival on ABC’s hit show Dancing With The Stars. They endure week after week of brutal rehearsals, and we’ve seen their successes, failures, meltdowns, and tears. But Hollywoodlife.com has the inside scoop that this season’s intense competition is pushing some contestants beyond their limits.

An onset insider tells us exclusively, “Brandy and Maks seem like they can barely walk. They are just holding each other up on the dance floor during rehearsals right now.”

It’s not just Brandy and Maksim who are hurting — the entire cast is battling to get ready for week seven.

“All of the contestants are feeling it. Their bodies hurt,” our source says. “This week it’s not a matter of who the best dancer is, it’s going to be who has the most stamina.”

Hopefully the crew will take some much needed rest and relaxation this weekend so they are in fighting shape for Monday’s Week Seven performance. With half the season still remaining, we’re anxious to see who has the most stamina.

Brett, you should take lessons from Kurt! During Dancing With The Stars Oct. 11, he showed he’s a gentleman who had his wife approve of his Rumba before stepping in front of the cameras!

We all know Minnesota Viking’s quarterback, Brett Favre is in the doghouse dealing with cheating allegations and naked text messages, but not ALL pro football players can’t keep their pants on — former Arizona Cardinals quarterback and Superbowl winner, Kurt Warner, is a devoted husband and father and proved it on Dancing with the Stars Oct. 11. How refreshing!

Kurt, 39, had to dance the very sexual rumba with partner Anna Trebunskaya on the fourth week of performances, but before he started gyrating his hips, he first consulted with his wife of 13 years, Brenda.

“When you’re in a setting like that, the first thing you think is, ‘What would my wife think if she was sitting next to me,’” Kurt said on the radio Oct. 12. “It’s so nice to have that seal of approval. It just eases your mind.”

After Brenda signed off on his hip shaking, Kurt went full speed ahead on his number — and sadly, it didn’t pay off! He scored the worst he’s done thus far, earning 34 points out of 60. Luckily, his positive attitude and love for his wife is so endearing, it’s doubtful America will give him the boot.

Although he shouldn’t give dance lessons (yet), Kurt SHOULD teach a thing or two about relationships to 41-year-old Brett Favre! If every guy treated his significant other with the respect Kurt showed his wife, there would be a lot less scandal — and naked text messages!
