Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followill may seem like he has it all with his world famous vocals and Victoria Secret Model wife, but there are some serious issues that accompany the life of a rock star. HollywoodLife.com reported first that Caleb’s issues with alcohol abuse and anxiety were the reason their tour was cancelled, and now another source confirms that his bandmates are pushing him to enter rehab.

“They are trying to get Caleb to go to rehab. It is mostly for alcohol,” admitted an inside source to Us Weekly. “[That's why] they ended up canceling the whole tour… he drinks like a fish.”

That’s not hard to imagine after Caleb’s recent debacle in Dallas, when he reportedly had one too many and had to stop performing to vomit. Obviously his drinking problem was starting to impede his abilities as a performer and his fans were suffering. As we previously reported, sources say Caleb gets anxious about performing in front of crowds and uses alcohol as a crutch.

“There’s a running joke in the band that Caleb can’t go on stage without having a cocktail first.” said an insider close to the band.

The only people more upset about the tour’s cancellation than fans of Kings of Leon is the band themselves. Caleb’s brother Jared Followill has taken to Twitter to express how hard it is for him to let down his fans but that family has to come first. He also hints that there is much more than vocal issues and exhaustion plauging their frontman.

”I love our fans so much. I know you guys aren’t stupid. I can’t lie. There are problems in our band bigger than not drinking enough Gatorade.” tweeted Jared.

We hope that Caleb gets the help he needs in order to be well enough to continue his work with Kings of Leon. So much great talent in the music industry has been lost prematurely to substance abuse, but it seems like Caleb has the support of his family to seek treatment. Tell us what you think! Kings of Leon shocked their fans by cancelling the remainder of their U.S. tour Aug. 1, following a disastrous performance in Dallas where frontman Caleb Followill got so sick he has to leave the stage. HollywoodLife.com spoke with an insider who revealed what is most likely the catalyst for the band’s major issues — and we hope Caleb gets the help he needs.

“I think all of this does have to do with Caleb’s alcoholism,” our source said. “He suffers from extreme anxiety and has a hard time standing in front of crowds, which is why it’s so ironic he’s become one of the world’s largest rock stars.”

The insider added, “There’s a running joke in the band that Caleb can’t go on stage without having a cocktail first.”

Partying is a major component of becoming and living the life of a rock star, so it’s understandable how someone like 29-year-old Caleb could wind up in this situation. That said, we hope he’s taking the next couple months before the band’s international tour to regroup and work on his issues.

His younger brother, Jared, tweeted about the band’s decision to cancel the tour, writing, “Utterly depressed. It’s completely out of my hands. Family has to come 1st. If bass solos & backing vocals were more popular, I’d be there.”

Minutes later, he added, “Thanks to all my friends, family, & fans. I’m not going to stop working. I’m going to spend time writing songs and looking to the future.”

UPDATE: Following a disastrous performance, in which frontman Caleb Followill became too sick to stay on stage, Kings of Leon has announced they are cancelling their U.S. tour. What happened?!

In a statement to TMZ, the band’s reps wrote, “We are so sorry to say Kings of Leon are canceling their entire US tour due to Caleb Followill suffering from vocal issues and exhaustion.”

The statement continues, “The band is devastated, but in order to give their fans the shows they deserve, they need to take this break. Unfortunately, the US dates cannot be rescheduled due to the band’s international tour schedule.”

It’s no secret the guys in Kings of Leon love to kick back and have a good time — but last Friday in Dallas, frontman Caleb Followill pushed the limit and got so sick, he couldn’t finish the concert!

After asking the crowd to help him sing, then informing them he was going to go “vomit” and come back, the 29-year-old singer said, “I’m gonna drink a beer and I’m gonna come back out and I’m gonna play three more songs.”

Much to the crowd’s displeasure, Caleb — who recently got married to a Victoria’s Secret model — never returned and his brother Jared and cousin Matthew were left to apologize for it all.

“Caleb’s just a little unfit to play the rest of the show,” one said. “We love you guys so much … I know you guys f***ing hate us. I’m so sorry.”

Later, Jared tweeted: “Dallas, I cannot begin to tell you how sorry I am. There are internal sicknesses & problems that have needed to be addressed.”

The following day, July 30, the 24-year-old bassist wrote, ”I love our fans so much. I know you guys aren’t stupid. I can’t lie. There are problems in our band bigger than not drinking enough Gatorade.”

Kings of Leon cancelled their U.S. tour and plan on returning for their international tour, which starts in Canada Sept. 28.

Rocker Caleb’s off the market as he takes the plunge with his bombshell model girlfriend!

Kings of Leon singer  Caleb Followill and Victoria’s Secret supermodel Lily Aldridge finally said, “I do!” The couple tied the knot the evening of May 12 in Santa Barbara, Calif, according to US Weekly.

Caleb’s youngest brother, Jared Followill, 24, tweeted on May 11 that Caleb and Lily weren’t getting married that day: “For the record. Caleb isn’t getting married today. Just driving up to the location to stay for few days.” Was Jared trying to lead fans off the soon-to-be married couple’s trail?

Caleb, 29 and Lily, 25, have been dating for four years now. They met at the Coachella Music Festival in 2007.

“Oh, he would just be likely to say something silly or give her some sort of Hollywood kiss in front of Joe,” the insider explains. “He’s just a prankster.”

Jared trying to make Joe jealous…now that is something we would love to witness! We’re sure Ashley knows how Jared is with girls — but we hope she’s careful nevertheless. The last thing we’d want to see is Ashley broken hearted!

Ashley and Jared head to NYC hot spot Avenue again and spend the evening flirting with one another — it sure seems like they’re dating!

They may claim to be nothing more than friends, but Ashley Greene and Jared Followill‘s behavior seems to show something much more than that! A source at NYC club Avenue reported that the two stopped by March 19, the second time in less than one week, and that, “Ashley was very flirty and affectionate with Jared.” Take that Joe Jonas!

Ashley, 24, was then spotted the next morning shopping with her parents for home goods, reportedly for her new NYC apartment. Could she be moving to be closer to Kings of Leon guitarist Jared, 24, who has a place in the city?
