Kevin Hart was pulled over on the 101 Freeway driving a black Mercedes and after being unable to pass sobriety tests, was arrested by the California Highway Police at around 4:30 in the morning on Apr. 14.

Kevin Hart Arrested For Driving Under The Influence

The California Highway Police stated that Kevin was “driving erratic,” going nearly 90 miles per hour, and that he “almost collided with a gas truck,” according to TMZ.

When Kevin was pulled over by the CHP, he showed “objective signs of intoxication” and was unable to perform the field sobriety tests. He was taken to the local jail and booked at around 6 AM. He was charged with a misdemeanor DUI and is being held on a $5,000 bond.

Kevin is a huge star and one of our favorites — he can’t be getting into trouble like this! Up until now his record has been clean though, so hopefully this is a one-time thing and he’ll be able to get back on the right track.

When Kevin Hart‘s new friends suspect that he is transforming into a zombie during a parody of the AMC hit series The Walking Dead on Saturday Night Live on March 2, he blames them for being racist.

In the sketch, Kevin comes across Rick (Taran Killam) and other characters from the series including Carl, Maggie and Daryl. When they turn their backs to decide if they should let Kevin into the group, he’s bitten by a walker (another term for zombie). Unaware of the fresh bite, the group lets Kevin become “one of them.”

“What do you mean by ‘one of them?’ When someone comes from a different cultural background, they’re automatically a zombie,” Kevin says, prompting the group to apologize and insist they’re not racists.

When Kevin bites and kills Maggie (Kate McKinnon), the group then insists he’s a zombie, but Kevin says, “Would you rather I eat some fried chicken or watermelon?”

They feel bad again until Carl (Nasim Pedrad) shoots Kevin dead.

Kevin Hart didn’t holding anything back while he hosted the Sept. 6 MTV Video Music Awards! The funny guy opened up the star-studded event by saying he was going to talk about people making mistakes, and clearly he was referring to Kristen Stewart. But opening up the show by addressing the “elephant in the room” left MTV a bit unhappy.

MTV sources told HollywoodLife.com exclusively, “MTV producers were at first mad that [Kevin] brought up Kristen Stewart and the incident, but it wasn’t a major issue with them because he didn’t harp on it and make it his material for the entire night. They were OK with things mostly because Kristen wasn’t there and the ‘Twilight’ gang hadn’t fully shown up by the time he mentioned things.”

Could you imagine if Robert Pattinson was there during the joke? That would have definitely been a bit awkward!

“Rob was oblivious to the situation and he didn’t even hear the joke at the time it was said, so it didn’t have an effect on him when he came out later in the telecast. He was in bright spirits for the limited time he was at the show and backstage,” our source adds.

When Rob did arrive, him and the cast of Breaking Dawn — Part 2 introduced the official, final trailer!

Kevin Hart took the stage at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards on Thursday, Sept. 6 and began his monologue by joking about mistakes that had been made at the ceremony in previous years, zeroing in on Russell Brand‘s back-to-back hosting appearances! Russell’s ex-wife Katy Perry appeared on stage almost immediately after and thanked Kevin for the diss!

During his monologue, Kevin said, “I’m gonna make mistakes because people have made mistakes here before…Russell Brand hosting…twice! The point is, tonight I will make tons of mistakes. Prep yourself [because] you don’t know what I’m gonna do!”

Katy came on stage almost immediately after to present the award for Best Pop Video and began her bit by saying, “Thank you, Kevin!” She must’ve got a real kick out of it!

Russell hosted the VMAs in 2008 and 2009 and also hosted the MTV Movie Awards this year.

Kevin Hart isn’t holding anything back while he’s hosting the VMAs! The funny guy opened up the star-studded event by saying he was going to talk about people making mistakes, and clearly he was referring to Kristen Stewart. However, Kevin was kind enough to make fun of other celebs before defending K-Stew!

“This is the elephant in the room. No one wants me to talk about it, but I do what I want. This is what I want to say,” Kevin said. “I want to talk about Kristen Stewart. Here’s what I gotta say about Kristen Stewart – everybody makes mistakes. She allegedly messed around with a director [Rupert Sanders]. She did it, so what. Look on the bright side. Here’s the thing. They are now a part of the seven dwarfs: Dopey, sleepy, adultery, cheating. If you made a mistake, so what!”

Yikes! We can’t help but wonder what Robert Pattinson thought about that! The 26-year-old was featured in a promo for the awards show, but wasn’t spotted in the audience or on the red carpet! That was definitely a bold move of the host, but we’re glad he addressed what everyone in Hollywood has been scared to talk about!

Country cutie Taylor Swift may never ever want to get back together with her secret ex, but she’s still willing to crack a joke at his expense. In a new promotional clip for the Video Music Awards (airing Sept. 6 on MTV), comedian Kevin Hart accuses Taylor of writing a song about him and begs her to come clean.

Confused, Taylor says, “This isn’t about you at all… I met you, like, one time two years ago for, like, five minutes.”

“That’s a lie,” Kevin responds, holding up a digitally altered photo of the two together. “Would I have this if you met me one time two years ago?”

“That’s your face photoshopped on someone else’s body,” Taylor says with a sigh. Given the title of Taylor’s latest single, “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” it’s quite fitting that the photo Kevin selected is the the infamous tabloid shot of Taylor walking with her arms draped around then-boyfriend Jake Gyllenhall.

Taylor has never been afraid to poke fun at herself and her exes on national TV. In 2009, the blonde beauty even wrote and performed a skit on Saturday Night Live about getting dumped by Joe Jonas in a 27-second phone call.

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are both scheduled to present at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards, and MTV is going to make certain that there are no jokes made about Kristen’s affair during the show!

A source close to the show tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that MTV’s close relationship with Summit and the Twilight films is what’s keeping the jokes out of the show. “Kevin Hart will be told to tread those waters lightly and be asked to refrain from mentioning it,” our source says. “They are respecting the severity of the situation, and the relationship they have made with the cast and the films, to not ruffle any feathers.”

While Kevin, who is hosting the ceremony, will be asked not to make any jokes, MTV is aware that anything can happen. “…They also realize it is a live show, so they will expect the unexpected,” says our source.

The ceremony will air live on Thursday, September 6, on MTV.
