Plus, Abbie reveals which original ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ character inspired her & why she almost didn’t get the part!
As Annie’s (Shenae Grimes) manipulative cousin Emily on 90210, Abbie Cobb is the girl everyone loves to hate right now — but I’ve got some good news for those of you hoping Annie’s life will soon go back to normal. “Emily’s going to be learning a lesson or two, and she may not be around much longer,” Abbie tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “The trouble she’s caused will be catching up with her rather quickly in the upcoming episodes.” Of course, that doesn’t mean Emily won’t come back someday…
Are you as excited as I am over the prospect of dressing up just like Brenda Walsh, Kelly Taylor, and Cher Horowitz?
Anyone at HollywoodLife can vouch for my unhealthy obsession with the 90’s — from my ability to quote practically any episode from the original 90210 and the fact that I daydream about Cher Horowitz’s closet in Clueless, you can only imagine how excited I was to hear about the recent re-making of iconic 90’s dresses! Read more about these re-makes and tell me what YOU think!
Are you all about the 80’s or is the theme just old?
The idea of an 80’s-themed party seems like something a teenager would totally love, which is why I was surprised to see Jennifer Love Hewitt celebrating her 31st birthday with a retro-themed bash on Feb. 21 in Toluca Lake. While the actress looked super cute when she dived into costume, (complete with a tutu), I can’t decide if the look is too cute or just too much. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a huge Molly Ringwald fan and would never pass up an opportunity to dress up in a fun get-up, but I don’t know if I would want to be the center of attention at an 80’s party — I would rather celebrate with an old-school 90210 bash, but that’s just me! So, what do you think? Is the theme too cute or totally played out? Read more
Beverly Hills is just not the place for you, is it, Jennie?
Who says you can’t go home again? Jennie Garth, that’s who. The actress’ husband, Twilight star Peter Facinelli, confirmed exclusively to HollywoodLife.com that his 37-year-old wife is moving on from the hip zip code at Lionsgate’s Golden Globe party Jan. 16.
“She’s just not doing it anymore,” Peter, 36, told us of his wife, who reprised her role as bubbly blond Kelly Taylor when the hit 90’s show got a remake in 2008. “It was one of those things where she was supposed to do a couple of episodes, it went a bit longer and now she’s moving on.”
