Gossip Girl star Kaylee DeFer, 28, exclusively revealed to HollywoodLife.com what she thinks about Chuck (Ed Westwick) and Blair’s (Leighton Meester) fate in the upcoming final season — and she said it’s looking good! We caught up with her June 25 at the screening of Millennium Entertainment’s Red Lights hosted by The Peggy Siegal Company in NYC, where she told us exactly what we wanted to hear.

“I hope so,” Kaylee said. “I think that they have to, right?”

We completely agree! The ONLY way to end the final season of Gossip Girl is with Chair’s happily ever after. We also asked Kaylee if her deceptive character Ivy Dickens will be back for the final season, and she is! (Bring on the drama!)

The way season five ended, it looked like Serena could potentially spiral out of control — again — but Kaylee couldn’t give us any more details about what will happen to Serena.

“They haven’t given us any of the scripts,” she said. “We have no clue what the story lines are gonna be until like a couple days before.”

Kaylee will just have to wait with anticipation like the rest of us!

HollywoodLife.com caught up with the lovely Kaylee Defer, 25, who plays the sneaky Ivy Dickens on Gossip Girl, and of course, we couldn’t help but try and squeeze any clues out of her as to whether or not Chuck (Ed Westwick) and Blair (Leighton Meester) will end up back together.

Her answer will make Chair fans smile!

“I think they have to, I think they have to for the sake of the fans,” Kaylee told us at the premiere of Jeff Who Lives At Home hosted by The Peggy Siegal Company and The Hollywood Reporter.

Kaylee also revealed that her and Leighton are friends off set! How cool!

“She’s great,” she said. “We hang out…the other night I took her to an open mic night at Village Underground which was really fun. She’s a blast, really mellow, low key, not a frou frou girl. Rolled up in sweats, a t-shirt, she likes to be really comfortable.”

We think it’s so cute they hang out off set! And we hope her answer to our Chair question was a big hint to what we should expect at the end of the season!

It wasn’t just cupid’s arrow that stirred up chemistry between Blair (Leighton Meester) and Dan (Penn Badgley). Their feelings have unfortunately dragged on after Valentine’s Day and it doesn’t look like they’ll be fading any time soon.

The Feb. 20 episode began with Blair and Serena (Blake Lively) fighting because of Blair’s last kiss with Dan. Dorota, being the great housekeeper/friend/mediator she is, locked the two in a room until they straightened out their differences. To Dorota’s defense, the situation was about to become worse — if that was even possible. Serena said that she was mad because Blair continued to deny her feelings for Dan. Blair went on to say that she is just friends with Dan and said that she was going to prove it by spending the day with him just “as a friend” at a play practice — where they were acting out Dan’s book ‘Insider’ which is mostly about Dillon’s (who is supposed to be Dan) secret love for Claire (who is supposed to be Blair).

Blair and Dan end up kissing when playing Dillon and Claire and, of course, Serena shows up at the absolute worst moment. Serena and Blair fight again and Serena asks Blair to just admit her feelings for Dan and to stop lying.

Blair’s ah-ha moment came when she realized that Dillon really loved Claire for being Claire… meaning that she realized Dan really loves Blair, for Blair. Frankly, I’m fed up with Blair’s ridiculous, back and forth antics. She’s being pretty selfish right now. Dan should have been off limits to Blair from the start. Isn’t that the #1 rule in girl code? Your best friend’s ex-boyfriends are ALWAYS off limits! No exceptions!

And what about the fact that Blair is a married woman?? Sorry Blair, but any sympathy I had left for you is gone.

And here are more ‘OMG’ moments…

#1 Serena Forgives Blair
After Blair revealed her feelings to Dan she went straight to Serena to let her know that she is in fact romantically interested in Lonely Boy. Serena, being the bigger person she is,  forgave Blair. It’s clear that the situation still irks Serena, but she feels that her friendship with Blair is more important than her feelings for Dan. Serena’s being way too nice… that’s just my opinion.

#2 Chivy Is Outed!
We totally say this coming, but who knew it would happen so soon? After Chivy (Kaylee Defer) and the real Charlie (who goes by Lola) crossed rhodes , Chivy wasn’t going to last much longer. The impostor had been hiding out at her ailing grandmother Cece’s (Caroline Lagerfelt) house, but when Cece’s condition worsened — so did Chivy’s. Chivy was forced to face the UES one last time, and this time it included Chola. And voila, the entire scheme of Charlie’s mother hiring Chivy to pretend to be the real Charlotte Rhodes was revealed.

#3 Cece Rhodes Dies
So sad! The eldest of the Rhodes family has passed away. It looks like it’s now Lily’s (Kelly Rutherford) responsibility to keep the family together. Between the real Charlie Rhodes in the picture, her daughter, Serena, in love with her stepson ,Dan, and her own conniving sister back in town — this should be pretty easy to do, right?

#4 Blair Tells Chuck: ‘Leave Dan Alone’
Blair’s new relationship with Dan has understandably put him on Chuck’s hate list. Chuck (Ed Westwick) went as far as ruining his second book proposal. But all is took was a simple phone call from Blair asking him to stop terrorizing Dan to stop the Chuck/Dan madness.  I really do think this is just a phase for Blair because when Chuck asked Blair if her feelings have changed she said “no.” I think this is a good sign for us Chair fans.

I don’t know about you GG fans, but I’ve really grown to like Charlie (Kaylee Defer) living the high life on the Upper East Side –so much in fact that I’m going to be SO sad to see her go!

And with her secret out to the evil Diana Payne (Elizabeth Hurley), we know she’s bound to be exposed pretty soon — as in before Blair’s nuptials.

“I’m not a part of [Blair's wedding],” Kaylee told us exclusively on Nov. 18 at the screening of Young Adult hosted by the Cinema Society and Dior Beauty.  ”The guilt is swaying on me and I may or may not expose myself or someone may or may not expose me, but I do disappear for awhile.”

They say if something seems too good to be true, it usually is — and that was definitely the case with Chuck (Ed Westwick) and Blair’s (Leighton Meester) kiss on the Nov. 14 episode of Gossip Girl.

We caught a glimpse of the highly anticipated “Chair” kiss last week, though many fans — like me — were hesitant to believe it was actually going to happen. But lo and behold, the two finally kissed! And it wasn’t a dream, or some weird pre-episode movie scene. They actually kissed!

Blair attended Chuck’s creepy Sleep No More party — yeah, I’ll get to that one later — where everyone was required to wear a mask, making it the perfect place for “Chair” to secretly reunite. Unfortunately, Blair’s reason for going to the party wasn’t to reconcile; her plan was to seduce him, proving he hasn’t changed and is still stuck in his old Chuck Bass habits!

And it worked!

More ‘OMG’ moments:

1. Chuck and Dorota teamed up against Blair!

Apparently, Chuck knew what Blair was up to all along — thanks to Dorota. They both knew Blair wouldn’t change her mind about Chuck if he fell for her trap which aimed prove he’s NOT the good guy he says he’s trying to be. Obviously, Chuck has caught Blair’s eye between his new charity work, last week’s apology and therapy. But Blair still isn’t convinced yet. What will it take for her to realize that maybe Chuck really is a changed man?!

 2. Ivy’s real identity is almost revealed!

Blair, Chuck and Dorota weren’t the only ones scheming on this week’s episode. Ivy/Charlie (Kaylee DeFer) was caught up in an Upper East Side drama storm when Diana Payne (Elizabeth Hurley) arranged for her real ex-boyfriend — the one she ditched in LA — to come to NYC. And Ivy didn’t bump into her ex until Diana told her to kiss Nate (Chace Crawford) at the party! Ivy’s identity wasn’t exposed tonight, but I’m pretty sure the truth is about to come pretty soon, don’t you? I’m hoping she can hide it for a little longer.

3. We got a hint about why Diana is so crazy!

At the end of the episode, Diana was on the phone with Nate’s grandpa, who has been a pretty shady character in the past. Grandpa Archibald thanked Diana for “restoring [his] grandson’s reputation.” I wouldn’t be surprised if Diana is lying to Nate’s Grandpa, too, but at least for now we have a hint to hold on to about what Diana’s craziness is all about.

4. Dan has been skipping out on his book signings!

Boo hoo! Lonely Boy may finally be living the life of a successful writer, but it doesn’t seem to be all that he had hoped for. Apparently, Dan (Penn Badgley) isn’t even participating in his own book tour! I’m not surprised — and honestly, sort of relieved. We need him back on the UES!
