But that long-awaited ‘Delena’ scene was just one of the things that made this week’s ‘Vampire Diaries’ the best episode of the season.
When Michael Trevino tweeted that the Oct. 13 episode of The Vampire Diaries was going to be a “game-changer,” he wasn’t exaggerating — least of all for his own character, Tyler, who I’m pretty sure is now a hybrid. Klaus (Joseph Morgan) turned Mystic Falls High upside down this week in an intense hour that found Stefan (Paul Wesley) fighting compulsion, Matt (Zach Roerig) seeing ghosts, and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) opening up about his feelings for Elena (Nina Dobrev) — yet again.
It’s time for a little game of ‘What’s in the trunk?’ Watch this clip from Thursday’s ‘Vampire Diaries’ and start playing!
Katherine (Nina Dobrev) has a little surprise in her trunk for Damon (Ian Somerhalder) on the Oct. 13 episode of The Vampire Diaries, and while I’d like to think it’s just a spare tire, I have a feeling it’s something a little more brooding. Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen), perhaps?
Elena came closer than ever to ‘switching Salvatores’ this week! Don’t you think it’s time for her to just give it up?
Aside from the hot-and-heavy pairing of Tyler (Michael Trevino) and Caroline (Candice Accola), every other couple in Mystic Falls was put to the test on the Oct. 6 episode of The Vampire Diaries. Elena (Nina Dobrev) continued flirting with Damon (Ian Somerhalder), while Stefan (Paul Wesley) swapped spit with Rebecca (Claire Holt), and Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) had to choose between Anna the Friendly Ghost (Malese Jow) or Bonnie the Teenage Witch (Kat Graham.) Let’s talk about each of their poor life choices, shall we?
While ‘Stelena’ fans watched their favorite couple crumble, ‘Klefan’ shippers watched a new vampire bromance blossom!
The Sept. 29 episode of The Vampire Diaries was yet another roller coaster of many kinds — time periods, hairstyles, and of course, teen vampire emotions. Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) finally caught up with Stefan (Paul Wesley) in Chicago, but their reunion was tainted with an epic breakup, the likes of which The CW has never seen.
Seriously, is this even a contest? Ian has already beaten Rob countless times. Prepare to add one more victory to the list!
If there’s one thing teens like more than vampires, it’s the ability to choose which vampire they love most of all. The Teen Choice Awards is well aware of this and has just added a “Choice Vampire” category to its 2011 roster, which once again finds The Vampire Diaries‘ Ian Somerhalder and Twilight‘s Robert Pattinson locking fangs in an epic battle of undead beauty. And there’s no doubt in my mind that Ian will come out on top.
Check out this photo of Nina filming Elena’s birthday! Who wants cake and juice, y’all?
We’re still two months and two days away from the third season premiere of The Vampire Diaries, but thanks to the magic of Twitter, the wait may not be too painful. Matt Davis tweeted this shot of Nina Dobrev and the crew on the first day of filming season three July 12 — and judging by Nina’s party dress, I’d say she’s celebrating the big 1-8! Whether Nina’s playing the birthday girl or her fanged doppelganger, however, remains to be determined.
Will Bonnie save Damon on ‘The Vampire Diaries’ season finale… or kill him? Find out what the cast is telling us about tomorrow’s episode!
Well, friends, it all comes down to this — Thursday, May 12, marks the season finale of The Vampire Diaries, and it sounds like we’re in for a heart-pounding hour of TV. Will Damon (Ian Somerhalder) really die from the wolf bite? Will Elena (Nina Dobrev) forgive him for everything he’s done? And where the heck did Klaus (Joseph Morgan) go?
HBIC Kat Graham tells HollywoodLife.com we’ll get all the answers we seek, and that we should all “prepare to be gutted.” Oh, and one more thing: We definitely have NOT seen the last of Elijah (Daniel Gillies)!
Two Salvatores enter, but only one can leave. Watch the preview & vote for the brother you’d like to see win next week’s fight over Elena.
If you thought last night’s battle between Klaus-laric and Bonnie (Katerina Graham) was intense, just wait until the Salvatore brothers face-off on the April 21 episode of The Vampire Diaries. That’s right, Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) will go head-to-head — though it’s really more like hands-to-throat — over how to best keep everyone’s favorite doppelganger, Elena (Nina Dobrev), from being killed in the sacrifice.
Now that Klaus has Katherine, her days could be numbered. Would you be sad to see her go?
He may look a whole like Alaric (Matt Davis), but Klaus (Joseph Morgan) is very much in Mystic Falls — and he’s got a hit list. The only question is: Which of our beloved Vampire Diaries characters will he take out first? In this new clip from the April 14 episode, “The Last Dance,” Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) discuss the possibility that Katherine (Nina Dobrev) may have already met her end… while smoldering sufficiently, of course.
‘Vampire Diaries’ fans, your weeks of torture are finally coming to an end!
But can she be trusted?
Watch Ian’s brilliant breakdown of Damon & Elena’s relationship, then vote: Are you team ‘Delena?’
“Delena” shippers rejoice — Ian Somerhalder is on your side! In a new interview with TV Fanatic, the Vampire Diaries star dissects Damon and Elena’s (Nina Dobrev) epic romance, ultimately determining he loves her because she has all the good qualities he could never find in Katherine! “She’s amazing,” he says of Elena. “And [Damon] has these amazing feelings for her. The air between them is chunky.”
I think Liz Lemon would look good with either Salvatore brother! Are you Team ‘Delemon’ or ‘Stelemon?’
What do Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev) and Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) have in common? When they’re in trouble, they both turn to the boys of Mystic Falls to bail them out! On the March 24 episode of NBC’s 30 Rock, a frantic Liz was offered this brilliant idea to save her comedy show from going on a forced hiatus: “Maybe something with vampires? Everything has vampires nowadays. Have you seen the Twilight movies, or Vampire Diaries?”
Ladies and gentlemen, Klaus has landed in Mystic Falls.
In what can only be described as the most epic tweet ever, Nina Dobrev dropped this announcement on March 4: “Shot first scene with Klaus!” The only question is: did Nina come face-to-face with Klaus (Joseph Morgan) as Elena… or Katherine?
I’d love to see more of Bonnie’s witchy cousin, Lucy!
The Vampire Diaries isn’t even two seasons old, and already The CW is uttering the s-word… and no, it’s not “Smolder-halder.” E! Online‘s Kristin Dos Santos is reporting that a spin-off — the phrase used is “companion series,” but I think we all know better — of the mind-blowingly amazing CW series is in the works, with executive producers Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec attached. It’s not yet known if any TVD characters will make the leap over to the new show, which is currently being described as a “one-hour drama about a group of researchers who investigate paranomal happenings.”
Playing fang-fatale Katherine is clearly having an effect on Nina!
Nina Dobrev‘s bright shining face visited Lopez Tonight on Nov. 18, giving us all a reason to stay up past our bedtime (so you can blame any potential typos on Nina-induced sleepiness.) After explaining The Vampire Diaries‘ rules for becoming a vamp to a very confused-looking George Lopez, she told him, “On our show, it’s really complicated. You really have to want to be a vampire, which I guess a lot of people do these days, right? … I want to be a vampire.”
