The supermodel cut her own bangs herself! Did she do a good job?

I sometimes wonder if Kate Moss really understands the responsibility of being “her,” that whatever she does will be widely copied throughout the world. Hmm, probably not since she just stated that she cut her own bangs. Yep, that hairstyle you see in this photo is semi-homemade. What do you think of Kate’s homemade haircut, BFFs?

As reported by Fashionologie, Kate recently admitted her hair adventures to Telegraph writer Hilary Alexander by saying, “I got bored one night and cut it…with kitchen scissors.” The long-time fan in me thinks this factoid is rather fun. The Beauty Editor in me recoils in horror with thoughts of hundreds of Kate’s fans racing into their stylists crying after they botch their own homemade bang cuts!

Take this small word of warning from a Beauty Editor: it’s not really a wise decision to cut your own hair as an untrained professional, even if you are Kate Moss. Then again, if millions of women suddenly have to make stylist appointments after their “kitchen cuts” suddenly go awry, the hairstyle industry will see an increase in profits, so your stylist might thank you.

Gwyneth Paltrow and Kate Moss both rocked Kate’s signature hair and makeup to the same event! Who did it better?

Whenever I think of Kate Moss, her iconic blonde bed head, kohl-rimmed eyes and pretty pale pout immediately come to mind. Ok, and a few other things too but those are totally un-beauty related. Kate showed up to “Mario Testino: Kate Who?,” an exhibition of iconic art work by Mario of the British supermodel in London, England on July 5th sporting her signature look. But, so did Gwyneth Paltrow! Perhaps living in London has rubbed off on the American actress because she was wearing some seriously similar Kate-esque tousled hair, eyeliner and lips. I mean, I don’t blame her for copying the chic supermodel. But, to the same party? Who do you think pulls off this sexy, carefree look better? The originator, Kate, or the copycat, Gwyneth?
