Are you loving Brooklyn’s short bob and blonde highlights? We’re obsessed! We learned from the colorist himself how you can get the same look!

Brooklyn Decker, 23, followed co-star Jennifer Aniston‘s footsteps and chopped off 10 inches of her hair on March 22.  We spoke with her colorist Jason Backe and to find out exactly how this look is created!

Jason described Brooklyn’s hair as  a “single-process Hollywood starlet yellowy-blonde” when she came in to the penthouse suite at the W hotel.  He looked at her newly shorn layers and decided to go for something more reminiscent of a young  girl at the beach. He, of course, used his new “favorite obsession” — L’oreal Professional INOA ammonia-free hair color and hair lightener.

Jason told HollywoodLife.com had two trends in mind as he was coloring Brooklyn’s hair. He wanted a little bit of gold in there, but nothing brassy.  ”We’re kind of stepping away from things that are ashy or neutral.”

He made sure to keep those creamy blonde locks in the front to exaggerate that beachy feel. Another trend he wanted to connect with  – high-contrast high- and lowlights. Take it from Jason: big, bold colors are hot right now!

It looks like the Sports Illustrated bikini model is growing up after her star turn in Just Go With It. It’s hard not be jealous of her — she not only has a great body, she’s got amazing hair too!

Brooklyn Decker, 23, is wowing us with her brand new haircut! But is she trying to compete with her Just Go With It costar Jennifer Aniston, 42, and her shorter ‘do?

We love the chic bob style on both stars, but we’re definitely slightly bigger fans of Brooklyn’s bob. Its tousled look is slightly more undone and a bit sexier than Jen’s straight style. That said, we love how Jen pulls off this totally sleek style, so it’s a tough call!

Brooklyn Decker, 23, is a total rising star since co-starring with Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston in Just Go With It! She’s known for her blonde bombshell good looks, which she shows off in Sports Illustrated!

Brooklyn is showing off a brand new look, which is a super-chic tousled shag! She got the cut from stylist Ted Gibson and colorist Jason Backe of celebrity favorite Ted Gibson Salon. They styled Brooklyn on Mar. 22 at the W Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, where Ted is set to open a new salon this summer!

Ted cut Brooklyn’s hair into an above-the-shoulder bob, adding layers and soft fringe around her face. Then Jason used L’Oreal Professionnel’s INOA to create lowlights and highlights, giving Brooklyn a slightly darker version of her usual blonde look.

Jennifer Aniston‘s stylist Chris McMillan has revealed the reason behind her drastic new bob — and it has nothing to do with upstaging Just Go With It costar Brooklyn Decker! Chris told Allure, “There are so many long, layered hairstyles and—don’t get me wrong, I love that. But The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills all have that. You know what I mean? And what’s the opposite direction you can go in.” Ouch!

Camille Grammer, like Jen, has always looked put together and picture perfect — was this a dig at her style?

The jewelry Jen wears on her middle toe is so well-traveled!

Jennifer Aniston is a self-proclaimed creature of habit and her affinity for her toe ring is definitely a perfect example of that! Maybe she considers it a good luck charm or it has a very special meaning to the star — either way, Jen didn’t take it off while jetsetting across the globe in 2010 promoting Bounty Hunter!

After covering it up in closed toe shoes in the beginning of 2011, I almost forgot about its permanent place on the star’s middle toe — until Feb. 22, when she showed it off in a pair of strappy sandals at the Just Go With It premiere. Jen even broke it out at one of its old haunts, Madrid! I used to think it was time for the star to retire her fave accessory, but I’m not gonna lie, I really enjoy tracking it around the globe.

So, if you’ve ever wondered what the star considers timeless, it looks like little black dresses, her toe ring, and of course, finding her one true love, are on the top of her list!

Seems like side-braids are a popular look these days! Brooklyn Decker, 23, had her blond locks tied in a tight side-braid at the Madrid premiere of Just Go With It. Too bad her lop-sided braid looks like they were done by a 6-year old. Who would have thought a clean braid would look sloppy?

Braids look better messy, like the one Demi Moore, 48, wore to the 13th Annual Costume Designers Awards in Beverly Hills.  Hers begin on one side and fishtail all the way around — so chic, right?  The detailed french braiding along her hairline frame her face beautifully – and the fishtail beats the triple-braid any day!

The Just Go With It co-stars continue to battle it out on the red carpet! Jen, you better ditch your LBD’s because Brooklyn continues to have you beat!

Jennifer Aniston and Brooklyn Decker are busy promoting their latest flick, Just Go With It, in which Brooklyn’s character totally tops Jen — and it looks like the theme is constantly continuing on the red carpet! Jen, even your new ‘do can’t save you — your penchant for little black dresses can’t compete with the colorful get-ups Brooklyn continues to show off! Check out both gals at the Mardrid premiere on Feb. 22 — while Brooklyn is a breath of fresh air in a strapless Dolce & Gabbana, Jen’s black mini is such a bore!

While in the HollywoodLife.com offices the buzz has been in favor of Brooklyn, I was honestly still on Team Jen — until now! From the strapless spring dress and Brian Atwood pumps to the side braid and bright lips, Brooklyn was premiere perfect. Jen, on the other hand, looked totally schlubby and dressed down in yet another black dress — the shapeless frock does nothing for her! Even her strappy nude sandals weren’t sexy or interesting. I would love to know how many black dresses she brings along when she’s on a promotional tour.

Jen, you have great gams but it’s time to amp up your style on the red carpet because Brooklyn totally has you beat! Don’t you agree?

She may be in the middle of a whirlwind promotional tour for her new flick Just Go With It, but Jennifer Aniston still seems to have time for a beauty makeover — she got a new haircut! The gorgeous actress cut a few inches off her hair, looking very similar to the cut she got back in 2001 when she was filming Friends.

Jen looks super cute with this new youthful cut, see how it would look on you here, and perfectly showed off her new ‘do in a simple black tank and pants with basic gold jewelry.

It is not certain when she got the cut, but it is likely Jen’s longtime stylist Chris McMillan is traveling with her on this press trip and did the honors.

Jen also took her color a few shades lighter, looking very much like the quintessential California blond. The simple and no fuss look is a far cry from the “Rachel,” which she infamously claimed she could not stand in a recent interview.
