Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum are only one of a few Bachelorette couples in history to have made it down the aisle, as they got married in a beautiful ceremony Dec. 1 at The Langham Hotel in Pasadena, Calif. And since their romance played out in front of the ABC cameras, it only seems fitting that they got also married in front of them! The Bachelor‘s own Chris Harrison hosted the wedding special, and it was so emotional!

A History Of Their Love:

J.P. admits it was “love at first sight” when he and Ashley met on The Bachelorette. He competed for her heart on the show, and he proved to be a worthy winner in May 2011, when he proposed to Ashley.

She says, “When we kissed, it was sparks” and that they have a “fairy tale relationship.” So sweet! They are clearly made for each other.

Preparing For The Wedding:

J.P. and Ashley told their families together about their plans for their big day, and their reaction was adorable. It’s clear that both families really approve of their union.

“We love Ashley” said J.P.’s mom Ilene Rosenbaum, while J.P. thanked Ashley’s family. Even Ashley’s sister seemed so excited for their wedding, and she was famously skeptical of their love when Ashley appeared on The Bachelorette.

Ashley and J.P. met with famous wedding planner Mindy Weiss to discuss their big day, and they were so cute!

J.P. said, “It’s our day, but it’s really her day, and I want her to get every thing she wants.” Ashley wanted simple, feminine, neutral details for the wedding, with “just a little color.” They chose white and cream flowers for the wedding, and the funniest moment was when Ashley picks out a wedding outfit for her dog Boo!

Speaking of their upcoming union, J.P. said, “I was never a huge believer of fate, but what are the odds that I meet the woman of my dreams the way I met her? There is not a day that goes by … that I don’t think about how lucky I am.” Aww!

Ashley got emotional when planning the wedding, and it was clear how excited she was to marry J.P. It was also obvious how excited she was to pick the cake! Red velvet seemed to be the winner for their big day, but Ashley knew the most important part of the day was “becoming man and wife.”

The Dress:

Ashley had the help of her mom, J.P.’s mom and her sister to watch her try on her dress. She wore a beautiful white dress designed by Randi Rahm that Ashley helped design.

“It’s beautiful” says Ashley’s mom, while Ilene added, “J.P. will love it. … J.P. will be so overcome.”

As for the tux? J.P. tried on several with this father and best friend Sean. He admitted, “It’s the most fun I have had” when planning the wedding. And the rings? Neil Lane, the famous ring designer — who was recently name-dropped on 90210 — helped the pair pick out their rings together.

“I don’t know how I got this lucky” said Ashley, while J.P. admitted, “I may start crying.”

Bachelor and Bachelorette Party:

Ashley and J.P. both went to Scottsdale, Ariz., for their respective parties. Ashley and her girlfriends had a day of pampering and fun, and Ashley even got a manicure of J.P.’s face! And no bachelorette party would be complete without a spot of pole dancing — which Ashley was surprisingly good at!

Meanwhile, J.P. and his boys went for a day of car racing and then out for drinks. And the couple broke all rules of bachelor/bachelorette parties when they met up for some romantic fun at the swimming pool. Ashley said that J.P. is the most “amazing man” and that she cannot wait to marry him.

Celebrity Guests:

Molly and Jason Mesnick were just a few of the Bachelor alumni who appeared at the wedding, and they admitted they are “not founding out” about the sex of their baby, which is due next year.

Trista and Ryan Sutter wished Sean Lowe well on his upcoming season, and Chris wished them well on their nine-year anniversary. Emily Maynard, Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez were just some of the other guests who were invited the wedding.

Ali said, “J.P. and Ashley look so in love,” while Emily got “chills” watching the first dance.

Their Big Day:

Ashley had a girls’ breakfast before the wedding began, while J.P. was given words of wisdom from his boys. While Ashley was getting her wedding hair and makeup done, J.P. sent her a bracelet — and she could not keep back the tears!

The bridesmaids wore cream-colored, one-shouldered dresses, while Boo (the dog) looked super cute in his little outfit. Ashley and J.P. married outdoors, and Ashley walked down the aisle to “I Can’t Help Falling In Love With You.” Both she and J.P. cried; it was so adorable!

Chris spoke beautiful words as he married the pair, noting “opposites attract.” Their moms joined them on the altar to partake in a tradition that “ties the knot,” as they read several beautiful passages. More tears all around!

The Vows:

Both the bride and groom welled up with tears during their vows, as J.P. said, “I can’t picture my life without you. … I love you so much. … I want to spend the rest of my life with you.”

Ashley added that “relationships are the most important things in life” and “every day, we are together will be the greatest day of the life.”

Then Chris announced them as man and wife! There was not one dry eye in the crowd, as everyone cheered for the newlyweds.

Their Future Together:

What’s next for the newly weds? A honeymoon! As for kids, J.P. said, “When we have kids, and they ask how did you and mommy meet, I’ll say take a seat.” (Presumably, he’ll show them episodes from The Bachelorette, which may or may not be the best idea.)

Ashley only wants one kid, while J.P. wants two in “a year and a half.” We can totally see that happening!

It was really was a beautiful wedding and we think Ashley and J.P. will be together for a long time! (Hopefully forever!)

J.P. Rosenbaum and Ashley Hebert are only the second Bachelorette couple in the franchise’s 24 season history to get married, and on Dec. 13 they joined the ladies of The View to reveal their “formula” to a long-lasting relationship. Plus, they revealed brand new details about their big day!

The Lovebirds Discuss Their Relationship

Ashley and J.P.’s love is rare. Joy Behar pointed out that it is so seldom that Bachelor couples make it to the aisle, and she asked them: what was their winning formula? J.P. responded, “Their is no formula, we just happened to fall in love on a TV show.” Ashley spoke more in depth about how their relationship succeeded where many others’ have failed.

She said, “I think that people feel that they want it to happen so bad, that they don’t actually trust their emotions,” she says. “They’re not 100 percent honest. [You need to] stay true to yourself and your feelings.”

Joy also questioned what it was like for J.P. to have had to compete for Ashley’s heart with so many other guys, and his answer was adorable! “It was just the two of us [on their dates]. There were no cameras, nothing else. And it felt like that from the start to the finish.”

Intimate Details About Their Romantic Wedding

Viewers were teased with a clip of J.P. and Ashley’s wedding, which will air on ABC on Dec. 16. Ashley says that it is “peaceful, calming and reassuring to know my relationship will last forever.” So sweet!

Ashley said their wedding was “like a family reunion,” as there were so many Bachelor alumni there, including Emily Maynard, Sean Lowe and Ali Fedotowsky. J.P. and Ashley began their relationship on television, so J.P. said it was not uncomfortable to get married on TV. “I didn’t feel that way. We knew what we were getting into.”

Ashley and J.P. married on Dec. 1, but they are yet to take a honeymoon. Ashley explained why: “We took so much time off from our real jobs, we went straight back to reality… I wish we had done a honeymoon. We’ll probably do one in January or February.”

Ali and Roberto Back Together?

Amid rumors that Ali and Roberto Martinez were seen hooking up at the wedding, J.P. and Ashley were questioned about that also. So are they back together? No, according to Ashley. “I don’t think so. I don’t know. I think she could answer better.” That’s a shame!

Ashley and J.P. seem like a genuinely happy couple, and they are clearly very in love with each other. We wish them the best in their marriage. We can’t wait for Dec. 16!

Ashley Hebert and J. P. Rosenbaum tied the knot on Dec. 1 in Pasadena, California, where the bride stepped out in a floor-sweeping, custom-made mermaid gown by designer Randi Rahm. The dress featured cap sleeves, a sweetheart neckline and a cutout in the back — but it was her 40-pound train that really stole the show! The hand-beaded train added a dramatic touch to the ceremony, but before the reception began the former Bachelorette removed the intricate train.

The couple, who met during season 7 of the Bachelorette, enlisted Bachelor host Chris Harrison to officiate their outdoor wedding — and he wasn’t the only familiar face who attended the special ceremony! Emily Maynard, Jason and Molly Mesnick and Trista and Ryan Sutter were also on hand to watch dental school grad Ashley, 28, and her construction manager fiance J.P., 35, say ‘I Do.’ The couple got engaged during the May 2011 finale of The Bachelorette, when J.P. presented Ashley with a 3.5-carat cushion-cut Neil Lane diamond ring in Fiji.

Ashley’s dress was so show-stopping, J.P. had to help her off the stage. The couple got married under a chuppah, a nod to J.P.’s Jewish heritage. The couple had their mother’s perform a Celtic knot ceremony, tying knots and binding their children’s wrists before saying a prayer.

Ashley and J.P. are only the second couple in the show’s 24-season history to make it to the altar. Bachelorette Trista married firefighter Ryan back in 2003.

Ashley Herbert and J.P. Rosenbaum are only the second couple from The Bachelorette franchise to get married, and they had their “dream wedding,” according to J.P. But their big day was not without its hiccups, as they had to deal with the threat of rain and the pressure of TV cameras. Read on for all the juicy details!

Ashley and J.P. faced many obstacles when walking down the aisle on Dec. 1, including the oncoming rain. But they didn’t let it dampen their spirits — pardon the pun! Ashley and J.P. wed in the normally sunny Pasadena, California, but dark clouds loomed over the Langham Huntington Hotel on their big day. Ashley admits that she was panicked as they were having an outdoor wedding, but it was OK in the end.

“I went outside, and I said ‘We have to take a risk’. It was amazing: it drizzled for a second, then stopped”, Ashley tells People.

Ashley and J.P.’s romance began in front of the ABC cameras, so it made sense that they’d get married in front of them, too. But, they had their concerns. “We didn’t want it to be a circus,” says J.P., while Ashley admits that “there was pressure.” However, that was another obstacle they managed to overcome, as they admit that their ceremony was “heartfelt and honest.” So sweet!

There was one problem that the happy couple didn’t expect, though, and that was the open bar closing! Once ABC stopped filming at 8pm, the drinks were no longer free, and Ashley and JP’s guests were not happy, reports the New York Daily News. A source says: ”ABC would only pay for the part they were filming. As the night went on and production stopped, so did the open bar.”

Guests were apparently livid because they weren’t expecting having to pay for drinks, and many had arrived without cash. Uh-oh! The wedding, which will air on ABC on Dec. 16, was attended by Bachelor alumni Emily Maynard, Roberto Martinez and Sean Lowe. Open bar or not, it sounds like it was a great wedding!

Ashley Hebert and JP Rosenbaum are no doubt totally in love — and they may finally be ready to make a commitment to each other, forever, as soon as this winter!

The Bachelorette lovebirds are reportedly gearing up to walk down the aisle — in front of the cameras — this December, according to Us Weekly and Wetpaint Entertainment.

“The wedding will be big, about 300 people,” a source tells Wetpaint Entertainment. “And yes, ABC will be filming the whole thing. JP and Ashley’s contracts were finalized the week before last.”

A source close to the couple tells HollywoodLife.com that their wedding will definitely be televised, but an exact date has yet to be confirmed.

Back in July 2012 Ashley told us, “We’re open to it. That’s how we met, so it would be coming full circle.”

We’re so excited to see the dress, the flowers, the guests, etc.!
