Actor Josh Lucas is a dad! He and his wife Jessica Ciencin Henriquez welcomed their son on June 29. Congrats to the family!

PEOPLE reports that Josh, 41, and his freelance writer wife Jessica have named their new baby Noah Rev Maurer!

Noah was born in New York City, weighing in at 9 lbs., 4 oz.

The couple quietly married last March and announced they were expecting shortly thereafter.

Actor Josh Lucas, 40, has wed his girlfriend, a freelance writer named Jessica on March 16, according to Us Weekly. But that’s not the only exciting news for Sweet Home Alabama actor — his new wife is expecting, too!

Josh confirmed his engagement during an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno in early January. He says he realized she was “the one” after an encounter with a mountain lion on an “eco retreat.”

“I hear, totally serious, two big breaths, and six feet above me, I see the very slight glint of the eyes of a huge [mountain lion] and I literally proceed to do what I had just read in the instructions,” he said. “And I started screaming and yelling and literally being as crazy as I could be, it padded off and just slowly went away and I worked my way into the trailer and I got in and I decided at that moment that this woman was the woman for me.”

This is the first marriage for Josh. Congrats!

It’s obvious that Josh Lucas wants to keep his private life private. After all, he just revealed that he’s engaged, but no one even knows who his wife-to-be is!

Josh, 40, appeared on the Jan. 6 episode of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and confirmed an engagement. But while he didn’t reveal the details, he did tell an incredible story about a vacation that made him sure he wanted to marry his lady.

For years the ASPCA has been protecting animal rights and at the Oct. 14 Young Friends Benefit actor and Honorary Chairman Josh Lucas is hosting A-listers Brooklyn Decker, Dylan Lauren, and Alexa Ray Joel to raise money for the cause. The theme this year is Mission: Adoptable and the party will be held at the IAC Building in New York City.

Rumors are swirling around Hollywood that Rachel McAdams has left her heartthrob dating days behind her and has hooked up with an older guy who has a thirst for blood!
