Through trickery and a fake break-in, Emily (Emily VanCamp) secured the evidence linking everyone to the terrorist attack on the May 23 season finale of Revenge; all she needed was Nolan (Gabriel Mann) to break into the Grayson Global security protecting the software. But her trusted confidant was unreachable, and when Emily arrived at his house looking for him, she found a message urging her to call the white-haired man. Eventually, they agreed to meet face-to-face — as if Emily would handle avenging her father’s death any other way.

After chloroforming herself to maintain secrecy, Emily woke up handcuffed next to Nolan, and the white-haired man threatened to torture her friend if she didn’t tell him where she hid the evidence. Emily revealed a fake location, broke herself and Nolan free from the handcuffs, then waited patiently for her foe to return, while Nolan took the evidence to Victoria’s (Madeleine Stowe) SEC agent. Emily’s training really paid off, because she kicked serious butt in the final showdown with the white-haired man — but instead of murdering him, she chose to walk away!

While Conrad (Henry Czerny) proposed in order to keep Lydia (Amber Valletta) from testifying against him, Victoria learned her ex-husband had ordered David (James Tupper) killed, which made her want to do the most shocking thing a Grayson could do — tell the truth! And she had fully immunity, so who could really blame her?

Meanwhile, Charlotte (Christa B. Allen) attempted to get retribution against Declan (Connor Paolo) by exposing his school project partner as a “tramp” who was caught as a minor with her history teacher. Ashley (Ashley Madekwe) also finally broke the news about the kiss between Emily and Jack (Nick Weschler) to Daniel (Josh Bowman), and after confronting his fiancée, they decided to call it quits. Emily decided to tell Jack everything, but her plans were ruined when Amanda (Margarita Levieva) returned to the Hamptons with a little more than she left with: a baby!

As if this finale hadn’t reached its peak of jaw-droppingness, Victoria, Lydia and others who planned to testify against Conrad, boarded a plane that exploded, apparently leaving no survivors. It was literally a “blast from the past.” (Seriously, if a plane explodes, a Grayson’s name is attached to it.) To make things worse, Charlotte called Declan for comfort after hearing of her mother’s possible death, and when he ignored her, she turned to drugs — for the last time!

But just when Emily thought all the evidence that exonerated her father disappeared along with the people on the plane, Nolan saved the day once again! He backed up the hard drive from Grayson Global, and Emily learned her father’s death went way beyond the Graysons.

Oh, also… her mother is still alive!

Because Charlotte’s (Christa B. Allen) been having pill problems lately, she was on lockdown this week’s Revenge, and her therapist suggested family therapy. I can’t even begin to picture the Graysons going through family therapy. Conrad (Henry Czerny) would probably show up with Lydia (Amber Valletta) since she’s obviously back in the picture, and Victoria (Madeleine Stowe) would call in back-up from the government agents investigating her ex-husband’s involvement in the terrorist attack.

My guess is that Charlotte would come out of therapy much worse off than she is now. Like expected, the family session turned into an argument between Conrad and Victoria. I mean, she did steal every piece of evidence linking everyone involved to the terrorist attack, and she handed that evidence over to Daniel (Joshua Bowman). Now he must make a decision about what to do with it — unless Emily (Emily VanCamp) gets her hands on it first).

After being behind bars, Daniel’s concerned about his image, so his and Emily’s wedding may be a chance for him to finally give everyone the spectacle they’ve been waiting to see. However, Emily’s thoughts were elsewhere. Because Daniel arranged for Ashley (Ashley Madekwe) to help with wedding plans, Emily was stuck at home when she was supposed to be keeping a watchful eye on the white-haired man — so she hired her right-hand man Nolan (Gabriel Mann) for the job!

Emily was fully prepared to kill the man who murdered her father, but her true friend led her to the wrong address, postponing the man’s agony for a bit longer. Fortunately, Nolan — dressed as a cable guy — installed cameras so Emily could keep track of her enemy.

Daniel tried to bribe Jack (Nick Wechsler) with $1 million to keep his mouth shut about the night on the beach. It was expected that Jack would be on cloud nine with all that money he planned to use to start a charity. Sadly, his dog Sammy — OK, he’s technically Emily‘s dog — was in his worst shape possible after all those years. They finally said goodbye to the friend that once linked them in the past, and they sealed that goodbye… with a kiss! It’s probably more important to note that Ashley was watching from outside the window. Emily is usually one step ahead of everyone; she really should have know someone was watching!

After all was said and done, it seemed like the white-haired man was one step ahead of his stalkers, because he got his hands on Nolan at the end of the episode!

The May 9 episode of Revenge took us back to 2002, right when Amanda (Emily VanCamp) had started reading her father’s journals and discovered the truth. Emily was Amanda, Amanda was Emily, and everyone had really bad hair — except the real Emily, who is just blessed with great hair, whether it’s blonde or brown.

During their annual New Year’s Eve party, in order to learn who threatened to expose the truth, the Graysons invited all of the people involved in framing David Clarke (James Tupper). All the faces Amanda has crossed out with her red sharpie were set to attend this party, and she cleverly worked her way into the serving staff to learn more information.

The flashbacks within the flashback of Victoria (Madeline Stowe) and David finally gave viewers an understanding of their relationship and their love for one another. It’s highly possible that Victoria would have been a little less bitchy had things worked with David, because for once, she actually seemed happy. Another affair was brought to light when Lydia (Amber Valletta) admitted she covered for the Graysons with her testimony because she had a thing for Conrad (Henry Czerny) … and obviously, vice versa.

Conrad and Frank (Max Martini) targeted Roger Halstead, a “true friend” of David’s according to his journal, as a suspect who could have possibly sent a note threatening to expose them as the true culprits of the terrorist attack and David’s murder. In order to keep him quiet forever, Frank took matters into his own hands, and Emily found Roger soaking in a pool of water — and his own blood — in a bathtub. It seems the Graysons have a history of stopping at nothing to keep a secret.

When the episode returned to the present-day Hamptons, Emily and Daniel (Joshua Bowman) were preparing to attend the Graysons’ New Year’s Eve party — and Emily looked forward to chatting with a handful of guests.

There are two episodes left until the end of season, and based on the promos, it looks like Emily finally gets her hands around someone’s neck next week. Will the Graysons finally pay for what they’ve done? Will Emily finally avenge her father’s death?

If all else fails, st least we’ll always remember that a fair amount of revenge was accomplished with a “vodka tonic… hold the tonic.”

Daniel Grayson’s (Joshua Bowman) innocence remained in question on the May 2 episode of Revenge – even though someone else admitted to murdering Tyler. While Daniel remained in prison, Charlotte (Christa B. Allen), did a little family research, leading Emily (Emily VanCamp) to a missing journal from the infinity box. And shockingly, Nolan (Gabriel Mann) had been hiding it from her all along! (Now Nolan, you know not to keep secrets from Emily. You’ll eventually regret it.)

Within the journal, David Clarke was revealed to appear paranoid and terrified; he didn’t want his daughter to remember him in that state. Emily stumbled upon the initials CM (or Carole Miller) written by her father, but after cross-referencing records at the hospital, a Carole Miller didn’t exist. A Carole Thomas who matched the description, however, was alive and well, and the woman turned out to have been Conrad’s personal assistant for years.

Naturally, Emily went undercover to get information about Conrad (Henry Czerny) and her father from this woman, who certainly didn’t mind whipping out her shotgun and pointing it at Emily. And as if enough mouths hadn’t dropped already, they certainly did after viewers found out C.M. was Nolan’s aunt! She’d been on David’s side the whole time, investigating Grayson Global from the inside, but Carole didn’t get the chance to help Emily’s dad before he was killed.

All of Daniel’s charges were dropped, and the people of the Hamptons were not happy about it. While her son was being released from jail, Victoria (Madeleine Stowe) was busy exchanging information about flight 197 with Mr. McGowen from the Securities and Exchange Commission. Her information, in exchange for immunity, led him to Grayson Global, and eventually Conrad may be exposed as the mastermind behind the terrorist attack. (My word, the women of the Hamptons are absolute geniuses!)

You know that things are about to get serious in this show when people stare at themselves in the mirror and the violins sound in the background. As Daniel prepared for his interview, he went back and forth between his parents to try to get the truth. Eventually, even though Conrad admitted the whole truth to him, Daniel sided with his father, telling the world in an interview that Conrad was innocent. Ashley (Ashley Madekwe) was fired when she was exposed for leaking pictures of Daniel, but Conrad being the sneaky rich man that he is offered her a Lexus — and a position at Grayson Global. (I seriously liked Ashley… before she slid into that Lexus.)

During a rare mother-daughter bonding moment, Victoria and Charlotte visited David’s grave and found the rose Emily left at the beginning of the episode, leading them to suspect someone had been to the grave site. When asked about her future plans, Emily declared she was going to marry Daniel and kill the man who murdered her father.

The season finale is fast approaching, and I get chills every time I see a new preview. Emily will stop at nothing to avenge her father’s death, and I cannot wait to see more people suffer for what happened to David.

Daniel’s (Josh Bowman) trial finally arrived on the April 25 episode of Revenge, and Declan (Connor Paolo) turned out to be the key witness after recanting his statement about the hooded figure on the beach. So Daniel’s lawyer suggested that Emily (Emily VanCamp) testify about why and how she fell in love with her fiancé in order to build an emotional case.

Meanwhile, Victoria (Madeleine Stowe) was still sleeping with the painter — and still on a mission to completely remove the juror, by threatening her son, who posed doubt against her son’s case. But she should never have doubted the abilities of Miss Emily Thorne! Victoria’s plan to guarantee a hung jury or an acquittal was working well, until Emily initiated an amber alert for the juror’s child and the cops found blood that matched Tyler’s DNA in the back of Lee’s (Victoria’s accomplice) car. The Hamptons’ finest schemers seriously outdid themselves with each new episode.

Charlotte (Christa B. Allen) channeled her inner Victoria by encouraging to Declan to tell the truth on the stand, but her manipulation didn’t work! Declan told his side of the story, confirming Charlotte was under the influence of drugs and alcohol the night of Tyler’s murder. (Bravo, Declan, bravo! Finally, someone other than Emily defied a Grayson.)

Daniel drowned his sorrows in alcohol as he began to doubt that Emily actually loved him, while Jack decided to hand over his bloody hoodie. (Man, this is one heck of a love triangle! What guys won’t do for the love of Emily Thorne!) Before being arrested for violating his house arrest, Daniel was overcome with jealously and accused Emily of sneaking around with Jack. Little did he know, she actually stole Jack’s bloody hoodie in order to protect him!

And while Emily and Victoria were busy manipulating everyone around them, Conrad (Henry Czerny) decided to join the club. He confronted Dominick Wright — the infamous artist — and demanded he leave town before he’s accused of dealing in the black market.

At the end of the episode, just when everyone thought Daniel was going to be the one who hanged himself, officers found Lee — and a suicide note confessing to Tyler’s murder! (Man, Victoria Grayson always seems to get her way, doesn’t she?). And to make things even more intense, it was revealed that David Clarke wasn’t knifed in a prison fight. He was murdered… by the Graysons!

So Daniel will be released from prison and all hell will break loose in the Hamptons — but is anyone else disappointed that Emily didn’t get to “deliver the performance of her life” on the stand?

Oh, wait, she gives the performance of her life every single day.

Amanda Clarke (Margarita Levieva) was nowhere to be found when Revenge returned from hiatus this week, and the Graysons were still in a frenzy to identify the hooded figure on the beach the night of Tyler’s murder. Eager to pin his murder on someone other than their son Daniel (Josh Bowman), they put together a potential sketch — and the suspect shockingly resembled Jack (Nick Wechsler)! Victoria Grayson (Madeleine Stowe) revealed she was willing to frame Jack, or anyone really, in order to have her son acquitted.

Because everyone is really pointing fingers at Amanda for Tyler’s murder, Nolan (Gabriel Mann) convinced Mason Treadwell (Roger Bart) to report on Daniel’s case, since it would be a great conclusion to his previous story about “her” father. But keep in mind, he’s just another piece in Emily’s (Emily VanCamp) “revengenda.”

Back at the correctional facility, Daniel was attacked, receiving a concussion and cracked ribs. Since the conditions were “life-threatening,” he was allowed to return to his comfy home in the Hamptons under house arrest. As Daniel’s case became deeper and more complicated, Nolan tried his best to convince Jack to investigate the bank statement found in Amanda’s jacket. That meant he’d be out of town — and more importantly, away from the Graysons.

While Victoria — aka “Vicky Harper” — encountered an old flame from the past, Emily anonymously contacted Mason, informing him that Victoria was to blame for the tapes that went missing during the fire that burned down his home. In order to help his brother, Declan (Connor Paolo) recanted his statement about the figure on the beach, admitting that Charlotte (Christa B. Allen) fabricated the entire story as a result of being under the influence of alcohol and drugs. With this information, the entire credibility of the Grayson family — as well as Daniel’s defense — was basically ruined. However, this was Mason’s plan all along after he found his interview tapes in Victoria’s house.

Finally, it’s safe to say that Emily looks fantastic as a brunette! She dressed up in one of her many disguises to get information from the man Victoria hires to set up the attack on Daniel so he could leave the correctional facility. Back at the manor, Victoria put a little doubt in Daniel’s mind that Emily had motive to murder Tyler; he did hold her at gunpoint, after all, and the bullets in the murder case did come from her gun. However, Daniel threatened to confess to everything if his mother even thought about trying to blaming his fiancée.

After last week’s intense engagement party, the Hamptons gang returned to their usual activities on the Feb. 29 episode of Revenge: Victoria (Madeleine Stowe) sipped some tea, Emily (Emily VanCamp) exposed a bunch of secrets, and Nolan (Gabriel Mann) lurked in every available shadow. Yes, everything was back to normal — minus the part where Daniel (Josh Bowman) was arrested for a murder he didn’t technically commit.

That’s right, kids! Despite the fact that Daniel did shoot Tyler (Ashton Holmes) once on the beach, it was actually Emily’s sensei Satoshi (Hiroyuki Sanada) who killed the eyebrow-less weasel with two follow-up shots. Of course, only Satoshi and Emily know the truth — and I wouldn’t expect him to help her prove Daniel’s innocence anytime soon. In fact, he threatened to “take care of” Amanda (Margarita Levieva) and Jack (Nick Wechsler), as they’re the two remaining loose ends in the beach debacle.

Just as the Grayson’s lawyer predicted, the judge decided to make an example out of one-percent Daniel, denying him bail and shipping him off to Ryker’s Island until his next court date. (It should be noted that, while Daniel looks good in a pair of handcuffs, he somehow looks even better behind bars. He’ll make some murderous gentleman very happy, I have no doubt.)

A few interesting alliances were formed this week: One between temporarily un-bittered exes Victoria and Conrad (Henry Czerny), and a second between Nolan and Ashley (Ashley Madekwe) – who totally thinks Daniel is guilty, by the way. Am I the only one suddenly interested in Victoria’s party planner-turned-PR minion? She’s going to use this whole situation to her advantage, and I can’t wait to see her unleash her inner snake.

So what’s my only complaint about this week’s episode? It’s the last new one we’ll be getting until April! ABC News is airing a two-week story about a real-life Revenge situation in the Hamptons on March 7 and 14 — but, honestly, that’s not going to cut it. I needs my Grayson fix and I needs it now!

The Feb. 15 episode of Revenge promised “Chaos,” and oh boy, did it deliver. We finally arrived at Emily (Emily VanCamp) and Daniel’s (Josh Bowman) long-awaited engagement party — you know, the one from the pilot — but it turns out the events didn’t quite play out like we were led to believe they did.

For starters, Daniel wasn’t the corpse Jack (Nick Wechsler) dragged across the beach. It was actually everyone’s favorite eyebrow-less weasel Tyler (Ashton Holmes), who returned just as trigger-happy as ever. The intense hour began with Tyler kidnapping “Amanda” (Margarita Levieva) and bringing her up to snuff on all things Emily, which immediately caused her to turn on her former cell mate. So much for the not-so-subtle lesbian undertones of that relationship.

Tyler also gave an earful — and an incriminating photo of Emily’s victims — to Daniel, though I’m not totally sure he understood what his ol’ college buddy was trying to tell him. Things that involve business and murder and thinking usually go way over Daniel’s beautiful head. But that’s why we love him.

When the show returns in two weeks — I know, I know, waiting sucks — Daniel will get arrested for Tyler’s murder, and all the Grayson/Thorne drama will end up right back where it started: In court!

In other, less life-for-death news: Sammy the Wonder Dog is now in Emily’s care, Nolan’s (Gabriel Mann) hair is looking more Bieberiffic than ever, and I’m pretty sure Charlotte (Christa B. Allen) is developing a crippling pill problem.
