The singer has only been dating production assistant Matt Rutler for about seven months, but they’re already living together!

Now Christina Aguilera admits 25-year-old boy toy Matt and her son Max, 3, have quickly become best buddies. Isn’t this all a bit fast?!

“Matt and Max! It’s like M&M! They’re buddies.” Christina, 30, tells Us Weekly. “If my son didn’t sit well with him, then I wouldn’t sit well with him. Matt’s someone he can have fun with and have some laughs with. And ultimately, my son’s happiness is really important. But I’m not looking for anyone to come in and fill the perfect family white-picket-fence. Me and my little boy are a great team, and Matt has been such a great support.”

Christina shares custody of Max with ex-husband Jordan Bratman, and insists they have a great arrangement: “The bigger picture is Max and working together (with Jordan). I love the fact that Jordan and I are strong parents separated, and we both have a positive influence on his life.”

We wonder how Jordan feels about his son’s new ‘stepdad/buddy’. Is it good that Max has another strong male role model in his life — or is it all a bit too much, too soon?

In spite of her recent troubles, Christina moves ahead with a new fragrance!

Christina Aguilera has had a bad few months, between her separation from husband Jordan Bratman, the Super Bowl lyrics flub, and an arrest for public intoxication! Luckily, though, Christina may have something to look forward to!

Life & Style reveals that Christina is about to launch a new fragrance, Secret Potion! (We love the name!) According to an insider who spoke to Life & Style, her son Max was on set for the Mar. 3 photo shoot for the new scent: “He wasn’t feeling good, so she wanted to take care of him and make sure they were together. She’s trying to spend as much time as possible with him while she works, so Max brought his toys and played with his little cars while she did the shoot.” Sounds like Christina is putting family first, which is fantastic news!

We’re glad Jordan Bratman has stepped up to take care of his son Max after Christina Aguilera’s arrest for public intoxication on Tuesday, March 1.

We were shocked when we heard that newly single Christina Aguilera was arrested in the early hours of March 1, with her new beau Matthew Rutler, and booked for public intoxication. And not only was she drinking, but she was sitting in the passenger seat of a car being driven by a drunk driver — who happened to Matt. Why would you ever put your life at risk like that, Christina? You have a 3-year-old son to think about!  

Thankfully, your son Max has a confidant in daddy Jordan Bratman, who spent the afternoon of March 1 with the tiny tot, playing in a Los Angeles park.

“I’m a mom first. I have to spend as much time as possible with my son,” Christina, 30, told HollyBaby.com after she filed from divorce from Jordan. So if being mom to Max comes first, why are you out during all hours of the night getting drunk with your new boyfriend?

We just hope Christina will get her act together and quit partying so much. Having fun is not the problem, putting herself at risk at risk is.

The singer’s downward spiral continues as she is booked in West Hollywood!

Christina Aguilera was arrested in the early morning hours of March 1 in West Hollywood and booked on a misdemeanor along with boyfriend Matthew Rutler. TMZ reports, “Christina was popped for public intoxication and her boyfriend was arrested for driving under the influence.” Oh no.

A source told the site, “If the driver had NOT been arrested for DUI, [Christina] would have never been in trouble.”

According to the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department, Matthew’s bail was set at $30,000. The site reports he was pulled over after he was spotted driving erratically.

Christina and Matthew, who was a PA on the set of her flick Burlesque, first stepped out as a couple in November in 2010 — just weeks after Christina’s announced her split from hubby Jordan Bratman. At 25, Matthew is 5 years younger than new sugar mama Christina.

Christina’s new wild behavior and drinking has been reported for a few months now, with rumors that attempts by her team to get her into rehab were shot down. Maybe this latest incident will help the troubled singer.

So, so scandalous! Apparently, Christina Aguilera has become quite the “Dirrty” girl since splitting with hubby Jordan Bratman in October. Xtina is so bad, in fact, that she and new boyfriend Matthew Rutler actually got busy during a family party! Is this kind of bad gal behavior ever OK?

We’ve previously discussed that it is a good move to keep things fresh in a longterm relationship by branching out sexually (aka having sex in public), but it’s not only trashy to do the deed when your ‘rents are around, but downright disrespectful as well!

We’re well aware that Christina and her production assistant BF have mad sexual chemistry. They can barely keep their hands off of one another! But seriously — Matthew couldn’t keep it in his pants — and Xtina couldn’t keep hers on — for one lousy family function? Gross.

Liken it to this: if you walked in on your parents having sex during Thanksgiving dinner, say, would you be shocked, revolted and almost physically sick? Chances are, they’d have a similar reaction if they caught you redhanded with your pants down after the turkey had been served.

So now you know that sexuals are a no-go, but leave the touchy-feely behavior at home, too. If you think your mom and dad aren’t going to notice if your BF is sneakily sliding his hand under your shirt, or you’re playing footsie with his lap at the dinner table, think again.

I’ll leave you with this piece of wisdom: your man might just be your genie in a bottle and you might just want to rub him the right way — just don’t do it in front of your family. Capisce?

Max’s parents made sure that their divorce wouldn’t affect him too much.

Christina Aguilera and her soon-to-be ex-husband Jordan Bratman kept their cool while working out their divorce and joint custody agreement regarding their 3-year-old son, Max, on Wednesday (Feb. 9). It’s good to see the divorce isn’t getting Max down. The little guy put the pedal to the metal yesterday (Feb. 10) and kept his nanny on her toes as he sped away on his tricycle in Santa Monica, Calif.

Max’s playful spirit is contagious, according to Christina. “He brings out all these elements of play in me,” Christina told HollyBaby.com about Max. “I’ll sit on the floor and play for hours. We run and laugh and just have fun. Grown-ups forget how to do that in their lives.”

Too bad Max’s mommy wasn’t around for his bike ride. Perhaps she’s hiding out since being bashed for screwing up the lyrics to the national anthem at last Sunday’s Super Bowl in Texas. “I got so caught up in the moment of the song that I lost my place,” she explained. “I can only hope that everyone could feel my love for this country and that the true spirit of its anthem still came true.”
