Miley Cyrus hasn’t stepped foot on a sitcom since her Hanna Montana days, but it sounds like she hasn’t lost her spark! “She plays a motor-mouth character [on her episode of Two and a Half Men], so they gave her page-long monologues,” Jon Cryer told HollywoodLife.com and other reporters Sept. 24 at the 64th annual Primetime Emmy Awards. “She was lovely, and we had a great time.”

Jon admitted he was a little nervous about Miley during rehearsals, but once the cameras started rolling, she totally nailed her part.

“All week, she was on book … which is understandable,” he said. “But even when we got within two hours of the show, she was still on book. … We were thinking, ‘Oh no, Miley better bring it!’ And then we did it in front of the audience, and Miley brought it! Miley was just on fire and fantastic.”

But it’s not just Miley’s acting that got Jon’s seal of approval. He also gushed about her daring new look!

“I know her haircut is very controversial, but I lay on the side of ‘I love it,’” he confessed. “I think she looks fantastic!”

We kid, we kid! Ashton Kutcher only kissed Jon Cryer for a plot line on Two and a Half Men. Monday’s episode was all about man-love. Alan (Jon) and Walden (Ashton) walk the line of being more than just roommates when the two share an on-screen kiss at the bar as a way to ward off negative attention from a pair of lesbians.

While at the bar dealing with the drama of getting a divorce, Walden spots a lady with whom he tries to get lucky. Too bad for him, she turns out to be a lesbian and therefore is no longer a prize to be won. In order to get himself out of an awkward situation of looking like a slime ball for hitting on her, he kisses Alan! The two are clearly destined to be BFFs.

‘Two and a Half Men’ star Jon Cryer — the man Charlie Sheen called a ‘toad’ — has a new stage role. And the job will be over long before the cast ever needs to head back to work on the hit CBS sitcom!

Jon Cryer is joining the big-name cast in a new musical production that will also feature Christina Hendricks, Neil Patrick Harris, Stephen Colbert, Patti LuPone, Anika Noni Rose and Martha Plimpton!

In a bit of a role-reversal from his straight-man part opposite certified wildman Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men, this time Jon gets to play the substance-abusing part! For this New York Philharmonic production of the Stephen Sondheim musical Company, he will portray the pot-smoking friend of the main character, played by Neil.

The semi-staged production is to run only from April 7 to 9. So Jon will have plenty of time to get ready if Two and a Half Men does make back on the air at CBS, as we reported it just might.

Just when we all thought Charlie was crazy, it turns out he’s been telling the truth all along!

Charlie Sheen‘s Two and a Half Men co-star Jon Cryer took to the airwaves March 10 to address one of Charlie’s recent rants, in which he called Jon a “troll.” And you won’t believe what he revealed: ”Those words were hurtful to me for many reasons,” Jon said on Conan. ”The fact is, I am a troll!”

“It’s not something I like to talk about,” he continued. “My parents don’t even know that I’m a troll. The truth is there’s not a lot of tolerance for people like me, especially in Hollywood. … You have no idea how much money I’ve spent on electrolysis and hair dye and reconstructive surgery.”

I don’t know about you guys, but my heart is absolutely breaking for Mr. Cryer. I just want to give him a big hug… and then possibly rub his stomach and make a wish. How he’s managed to keep his secret for 45 years I will never know.

Charlie is mad at his Two and a Half Men costar for failing to reach out to him

These days, it’s not that hard to get on Charlie Sheen‘s bad side. His initial rants insulted Two and a Half Men creator Chuck Lorre but now he’s decided to attack his friend and costar Jon Cryer.

“Jon has not called me. He’s a turncoat, a traitor, a troll. Clearly he’s a troll,” Charlie tells E! Online. “He issued a statement. Is it gonna take me calling him a ‘traitor, juvenile and scared’ for him to get it?”

Jon has not, in fact, released a statement about Charlie yet. The only way he’s really addressed it is by participating in a funny Ellen show skit about a new job. When we’ve contacted his reps throughout this ordeal, they have consistently replied with responses paraphrasing “Jon will not be commenting on Charlie.” But for some reason, Mr. Sheen is still convinced he’s been betrayed.

“Like I said: You’re with me, or you’re with the trolls. Obviously he’s with the trolls,” explains the actor. Yesterday Charlie stood on top of the Live Nation building with one of his goddesses and waved a machete while drinking “tiger blood.” Not exactly a man at peace.

So does he have anything to say to Jon, should his costar get in touch with him? “What’s there to say? I’ll tell him ‘You’re a little late. Goodbye, troll.’ When I’m starring in multimillion-dollar films and he’s begging me for a supporting role I’ll say, ‘You left me out in the cold with all of your guilt and stupidity.’ “

These words seem pretty harsh for Sheen to say, especially towards someone who has made it a point not to bad-mouth Charlie in public.And an E! source says the costars have in fact been in contact. Jon Cryer is desperate for a new job, so Ellen DeGeneres helped him out

Charlie Sheen‘s antics forced CBS to cancel production on Two and a Half Men this season, leaving the cast and crew without jobs. Jon Cryer, Charlie’s onscreen brother and fellow star of the show, has finally found a new temporary job! The actor filmed a skit on The Ellen DeGeneres Show airing today, making light of his current situation.

Jon is seen manning the reception desk at Ellen’s office. “You do the work of two and a half men” joked the talk show host. “You don’t have to say that every time you pick up your messages,” retorted the actor.

At the end of the scene Jon mumbles to himself “This is a trainwreck,” in a tongue-in-cheek dig against Charlie Sheen.

It’s great that Jon is having a sense of humor about the ordeal, although still sad that Charlie’s drama has made so many of his castmates and crew members unemployed.

The 17-year-old just signed a deal with CBS that will earn him $7.8 million for appearing in the next season of Two and a Half Men. Doesn’t that seem like way too much money for a teenager?

Angus T. Jones has a lot to celebrate today. Not only is it his 17th birthday, but he also just got a super-sweet raise from CBS. According to TMZ, the Two and a Half Men star, who plays Jake Harper on the hit sitcom, will receive $300,000 per episode, which translates into $14.4 million over two seasons! “He’s an impressive kid,” says co-star Jon Cryer. Still, that seems like way more money than any teenager needs. We hope his parents are investing that dough wisely and only giving him an allowance. Speaking of allowances, what’s the weekly rate you give your kids? And what do they have to do to earn it?

Sure the sitcom has continually been one of the top rated shows on TV since its premiere in 2003, when Angus was only 10 years old. His co-star Charlie Sheen is racking in $2 million an episode but we certainly hope Angus doesn’t follow in his troubled footsteps. That much money at such a young age, has been known to cause problems for teens — just look at what happened to former child stars like Lindsay Lohan.
