As Fashion Star gets closer to revealing its first winner, the competition is tighter than ever! The remaining designers will have to use every last opportunity to prove why they deserve to be crowned the next fashion icon. This week, they’ll not only have to design a look that will define their personal brand, but they’ll also have to create their first campaign — we can’t wait to see their collections!

As seen in the May 1 preview, the mentors – Nicole Richie, Jessica Simpson and John Varvatos — will guide the contestants in creating a successful campaign and we’ll also get to see which designer as Jessica says, ‘knocks her panties off.’

Fashion Star is down to it’s final eight designers! While stress levels are higher than ever, the remaining contestants will have to pull it together for their next difficult challenge. This week it will be the celebrity mentors, Jessica Simpson, Nicole Richie and John Varvatos, who will decide what what goes down the runway — we can’t wait to see what they pick!

In the Apr. 24 episode, we’ll see as the mentors work one on one with the designers to come up with their latest look — but will their help be enough to impress the buyers? Even with their expert advice, it looks like one designer’s look may be left with no offers at all!

In the new fashion reality series Fashion Star, premiering Mar. 13, 14 hopeful designers will fight their way at a chance of launching their own collection, (valued at $6 million!), and they’ll have celebrity mentors and fashion moguls Nicole Richie, Jessica Simpson and John Varvatos helping them get to the end!

As seen in the NBC preview, Fashion Star — hosted by Elle Macpherson — isn’t just a competition for the designers. Buyers from H&M, Macy’s and Saks Fifth Avenue will also be battling it out for their favorite looks — and in an interesting twist, the viewers will be able to purchase the chosen designs the day after each episode!

At a Mar. 13 John Varvatos event, Zoe Saldana looked radiant!
