With no time to enjoy a meal to herself, Modern Family‘s Julie Bowen eats the scraps left on her three boys’ plates. Do your kids keep you too busy to eat, HollyMoms?
In our eyes, Julie Bowen has an incredible body, but to her, it’s anything but amazing. “No human being will ever see my stomach again, including my husband,” the Modern Family star, 40, said on the red carpet at the People’s Choice Awards last night (Jan. 5). Why is she so self-conscious about her figure? The actress blames her three sons — Oliver, 3, and 1-year-old twins, John and Gus!
Carnie and Wendy Wilson and Chynna Phillips are the kids of musicians, so it’s not a surprise to learn that their own children are musically inclined too!
It looks like it won’t be long till the gals of Wilson Phillips (Carnie Wilson, Wendy Wilson and Chynna Phillips) are challenged on the Billboard charts — by their kids! The youngsters are third-generation musicians and plan to follow their moms and grandparents into the music biz.
The Modern Family star says she’s busy enough chasing after her three young sons and has no plans to add any more members to her family. But she does give the kiddos credit for helping her stay in shape.
“Oh God, no! No more children,” exclaims Julie Bowen. The Emmy-nominated actress has been blessed with three happy, healthy boys — Oliver, 3, as well as twins John and Gus, 18 months — and that’s enough for her and husband Scott Phillips.
Julie Bowen tells a hilarious story about finding one of her twin boys — the ‘fat, cute one’ — hiding in her tumble dryer!
Modern Family‘s Julie Bowen stopped by Conan last night to discuss her hectic life with her three sons, Oliver, 3, and 18-month-old twin boys, John and Gus — or as she calls them, “the smart one” and “the fat, cute one.” Julie describes her twins as polar opposites, one is “super cute and adorable, maybe not the brightest” while the other is the “little, tiny one who’s going to use his noodle.” Then Julie told Conan O’Brien about a recent adventure the tiny tykes decided to embark on — a trip to the dryer.
Modern Family‘s Julie Bowen has three sons but she still can’t believe that she’s actually somebody’s mommy! Do you ever feel that way, HollyMoms?
Julie Bowen is as funny in real-life as she is on-screen. The 40-year-old, who plays Claire Dunphy on the Emmy award-winning comedy Modern Family, is a mom of three (Oliver, 3½, and twins John and Gus, 17 months), but she admits she still can’t get the hang of this whole Mom thing. “It was harder to get my driver’s license than to get pregnant and give birth,” she exclaims to Parade magazine. “Then you go home with them and you’re like, ‘Are you kidding?! I don’t know what I’m doing.’ I’m still in shock every time my 3-year-old goes ‘MOM!’ I’m like, ‘ME???’”
