Demi Lovato has got some serious pipes! The X Factor judge appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on April 1, and she gave an emotional and stunning performance of her hot new song “Heart Attack”, and the audience went wild!

Demi Lovato’s Performance On ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’

Demi, 20, performed at an outdoor arena for Jimmy Kimmel and tons of screaming fans, and she looked cute showing off her new bob and embellished nails in a patterned jacket.

Speaking to MTV about the song, Demi said that it is about “falling in love and like taking that risk, but she’s terrified. And by she, I mean me. I think everyone comes to a point where they feel very vulnerable when falling in love and that’s what I’m talking about.”

Demi Lovato Returning To ‘The X-Factor’ As Judge

Demi made an exciting announcement recently, when she revealed that she will be staying on The X Factor as a judge and mentor in its third season.

“I am so excited to return as a judge and mentor on The X Factor,” Demi said March 28. “Last season was an unbelievable experience and I really enjoyed developing personal relationships with the contestants and the panel. I look forward to taking my previous experience and applying it to make this season even better!”

Jimmy Kimmel, get your mind out of the gutter! On the March 21 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, the funny man invited Bachelor Sean Lowe and his fiancée Catherine Giudici to have sex on his stage. Literally. Making jokes about Sean being a born again virgin, Jimmy said that if Sean was going to have his wedding on TV, he must have his honeymoon and “make love” on Jimmy’s stage. You “must be like a rocket ready to launch,” said Jimmy to Sean, while Catherine laughed nervously in the audience! Sean then said that he and Catherine would get married on TV, because ABC will “foot the bill for the whole thing.”

“We don’t care about the wedding,” said Jimmy. “We wanna see what happens when the two of you get into that room and bam! ABC After Dark!”

Jimmy then asks ”Would you like to make love here on our stage?” to which Sean says “I would give it some thought!”

I doubt that would be the romantic setting Catherine envisioned!

Reports that Jessica Simpson was expecting a boy, and even that she was naming him Ace, had been circling. She hinted at that again on the March 6 episode of The Ellen Degeneres Show. Then on March 7, the secret was officially out when she let it slep that, yes, she was having a boy!

While talking about how nauseas she was with Jimmy Kimmel, she accidently let out more info than she meant to.

“The crazy thing is I never knew a wiener could make me nauseous,” she said on the talk show. Then immediately after, when she realized what she had done, she said “oh shhhh, I guess I just told the world that I’m having a boy!”

Jimmy laughed and congratulated her, in which Jessica responded with “Thank you, I’m sweating now!”

It’s no surprise though — she’s been hinting at the sex all week. On Ellen, she pretty much confirmed the baby’s sex when Ellen DeGeneres presented her with two onsies for her 10-month-old daughter Maxwell Drew; one read “I love my baby brother” and the other, “I love my baby sister.”

When Ellen told her to pick, Jess was hesitant but Ellen insisted that she take the one with brother on it, and Jessica agreed and accepted it. She tried covering it up, saying “if it’s a girl, she might call him bro.”

On March 7, Jessica also called in to Ryan Seacrest‘s KIIS FM radio show, and he asked the other question we’re wondering — will there be a third baby?

“Really hope that it stops [here],” she laughed and told Ryan. “I think originally I had wanted three [kids] and now that I have one and another one on the way I feel like I could stop here. Accidents do happen [though]!”

Jessica and fiance Eric Johnson announced that their daughter was about to become a big sister in an adorable photo on Christmas Day.

Jimmy Kimmel is requesting that Morrissey visit his show and work out their “issues” after the animal rights activist backed out of an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Feb. 26. Morrissey refused to appear when he found out that the cast of Duck Dynasty was also scheduled.

“I’ve found myself in a weird position. I’m in the middle of a celebrity feud with Morrissey… This has nothing to do with people who eat meat versus people who don’t,” Jimmy said on Feb. 27. “I’m completely respectful of people who do not eat meat, but the statement he made is ridiculous.”

After canceling his appearance, Morrissey went on a tirade accusing Jimmy of making fun of gun control, depression, and obesity.

“I’d like to invite him to join the show to discuss,” Jimmy continued. “I’m an open, even-handed person, and I consider all points of view… If I keep saying it, maybe it will be true. I’ve invited him to talk this out, and perhaps we will both be better men for it, but probably not.”

Jimmy also tweeted on Feb. 27, “note to Morrissey – if you have more dumb statements to make, I invite you to make them where I do, on my show.”

It’s not uncommon for musical guests to be the target of late night talk show fodder — especially when said guests cancel their appearance last-minute — but when former Smiths frontman Morissey refused to appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Feb. 26, the gloves came off and Jimmy Kimmel was outspokenly angry and annoyed.

The English singer had cancelled his appearance late the night before he was supposed to perform after he learned the cast of the A&E reality TV show Duck Dynasty, who had made their fortune selling duck hunting equipment in Louisiana, were also going to be guests on the talk show on the same night.

Morrissey is a vegan and avid animal rights activist, and said in a statement that he cancelled because he couldn’t appear with people he considered ”animal serial killers.”

Jimmy Kimmel Mocks Morrissey On His Late Night Show

As a response to the last-minute flake out, Jimmy took time out of his nightly monologue to poke fun at the English rocker.

“There’s a very good reason why I didn’t dump ‘Duck Dynasty,’” Jimmy said on his show on Feb. 26, the night Morrissey was supposed to perform. “It’s because they have guns, and Morrissey doesn’t.”

He also featured a sketch that showed Duck Dynasty lookalikes using vegan hunting equipment to hunt for carrots.

As a consolation, Jimmy had local Denver rock group Churchill perform in Morrissey’s place.

Kim Kardashian doesn’t need a lavish baby shower — Jimmy Kimmel threw her a celebration of his own on Jimmy Kimmel Live and made sure to shower her with plenty of essential mommy gift!

When Kim and sister Kourtney Kardashian stopped by the show on Jan. 29 to promote their show Kourtney & Kim Take Miami, Jimmy asked her who was throwing her baby shower.

Even though Kourtney sounded as though nothing had been really planned yet, she said it would likely be thrown by sister Khloe Kardashian, mom Kris Jenner and herself.

But Jimmy revealed he had a surprise for Kim — he threw her a mini baby  shower on the show!

As pink and blue balloons fell from the ceiling (the gender of Kim and Kanye West‘s baby has not yet been identified), Jimmy also dropped a “Kongratulations Kim” banner from the ceiling, and even had virgin mimosas for his reality star guests!

Perhaps the best part was when Jimmy presented Kim with a big book of K names to keep in tradition of her family — and Kanye’s name, of course. Some of the name included Keenan, Kel, Kiwi and Kaleidoscope!

No one feels the wrath of anonymous Twitter haters more than celebrities, which is why it’s always so funny to see them strike back at the nasty comments sent their way. When Selena Gomez appeared on the Jan. 8 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, she joined a group of stars in a segment called “Celebrities Read Mean Tweets” — and it was hysterical!

The segment marked the third time host Jimmy Kimmel has gathered celebs to laugh at themselves and the hate sent their way. Selena appeared first and read a tweet from a charming Twitter user with the handle @theeznuts1, who had tweeted, “@selenagomez is on the radio right now. Is there a volume lower than mute?” Mean!

She replied by simply looking into the camera, shrugging her shoulders, and saying, “Sorry,” in a way that implied she was in on the joke.

More Celebs Join In On The Fun

Selena was joined by Jessica Biel and Hayden Panettiere, among others. Jessica’s mean tweet came from @madison_davide, who wrote, “my asian orthodontist says @jessicabiel has horse teeth.” In reply, Jessica hysterically brayed like a horse.

Hayden found herself a little confused by her hate tweet, from @DonkeyGoatFace, which said, “No one else finds Hayden Panettiere intolerable,” with no punctuation. Puzzled, Hayden asked, “Is that a question?”

While all these were funny, the funniest moment in the entire segment may have come from Anderson Cooper, which involved a comment about dinosaurs and some very salty language from the usually composed newsman!
