It’s been less than 24 hours since 90210 aired its series finale, and while I’m tickled that Annie (Shenae Grimes) and Liam (Matt Lanter) finally got their heads out of their beautiful butts and became engaged, there’s one less-happy plot point in need of discussing: I can’t believe the show ended with Silver (Jessica Stroup) getting cancer!
Last week, Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) being crushed on stage by a barrage of flaming rubble seemed like a bad thing, but as we saw on the May 13 series finale — yes, I said series finale, and I can’t type those words without ugly crying — her accident turned out to be a good thing. Aside from a few bumps and bruises, the near-death tragedy brought everyone back together one last time!
We’ve seen Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) pull some pretty sick shenanigans during the past five seasons — she’s basically Satan with boobs — but on the May 6 episode of 90210, karma finally came back to bite her. And by “bite her,” I mean “rain down fire directly onto her head.”
90210 returns from its month-long hiatus April 15 with the final five episodes of the series — but just because the show is coming to an end, that doesn’t mean there isn’t still plenty of time to hash out some new relationship drama. Charlie Weber tells HollywoodLife.com that Mark’s budding romance with Silver (Jessica Stroup) will be the “catalyst” for some major developments, including the “reigniting” of Silver’s feud with Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes)!
Now that we know our time with the 90210-ers is drawing to a close — the series finale airs May 13 — I’m reflecting on how much and why exactly I’ll miss them, which is what I pondered while watching the March 4 episode. Most of all, I’ll miss these kids’ uncanny ability to completely switch life directions on a weekly basis, then immediately achieving unfathomable success in their new field.
90210‘s already star-studded fifth season is getting even more stellar in the coming weeks. The show’s Nov. 12 episode, titled “Hate 2 Love,” features the arrival of Carmen Electra as Vesta, who apparently helps Silver (Jessica Stroup) become the best burlesque dancer she can be! Silver’s baby will be so proud of its mom someday.
Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) proposed having one last day of “crazy Silver fun” on the Oct. 22 episode of 90210, which used to mean throwing wine bottles at your teacher and lighting your boyfriend’s front lawn on fire. Fortunately, Silver (Jessica Stroup) has grown quite a bit since season one, so she spent the day conquering her fear of acrobatics and such.
Jessica Stroup — We hope your birthday bash in the 90210 will be better than Prom Night!
The first official promo for 90210‘s upcoming fifth season has finally hit the web, and it’s — well, it’s full of Carly Rae Jepsen. Not only does the singer herself make a brief appearance, but her new Owl City collaboration “Good Time” underscores the entire 30-second video. But don’t let the happy tune fool you: This promo is full of drama, inspiring five yet-unanswered questions.
Partnering AXE hair products with the plush, foul-mouthed star of Ted might seem like a nutty idea — and it is — but Jessica Stroup, who also stars in the movie, assures us it all makes sense. “You’ve got this bear, and you really need to show that he’s a ladies’ man,” Jessica tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “All the ladies want to touch his soft teddy bear hair, and AXE gives Ted the confidence in the movie.”
Jessica Stroup is a busy girl these days. Along with promoting her upcoming movie Ted — she hints that her character has an underlying crush on the titular bear — she’s also embarking on a new partnership with AXE Hair. But her hectic schedule pales in comparison to the whirlwind life of her 90210 persona Silver, and Jessica was happy to give HollywoodLife.com the scoop on what’s to come in season five.
If the May 15 season finale of 90210 was turned into a late-’90s FOX game show, it would probably be called Who Wants To Impregnate A Teenager, as Silver (Jessica Stroup) spent the better part of the hour choosing which of her friends-with-benefits she wanted to make a baby with. Her choices: Navid (Michael Steger Jr.), who confessed his undying love for her, and Liam (Matt Lanter), who might actually be the only character on the show prettier than her. And after much careful consideration, Silver chose…
As if it wasn’t awkward enough that Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) is planning Max’s (Josh Zuckerman) wedding, the May 8 episode of 90210 also found the Beverly Hills gang roped into attending their respective bachelor and bachelorette parties — along with Nick Carter. And some hookers.
It’s official: Annie Wilson (Shenae Grimes) is going to hell. After committing vehicular manslaughter, cheating on her boyfriend, and having sex for money, the Kansas native sealed her fate on the May 1 episode of 90210 when she convinced priest-in-training Caleb (Robert Hoffman) to sleep with her. The only bright side? If she ever feels guilty, all she has to do is roll over and she’s in Confession! You really can’t beat that kind of convenience.
90210 finally returned from hiatus April 24, and it turns out the kids of Beverly Hills are more clueless than ever. They also appear to have completely given up on college — but that’s neither here nor there.
