Will Baby Lisa Irwin's Parents Lose Custody Of Her Brother?

Lisa’s half-brother might be taken from the family — his birth mom is fighting for custody because she says she’s concerned for his safety.

Lisa Irwin’s parents Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin are still missing their precious little daughter — her first birthday was Nov. 11 & mdash; and now there’s even MORE drama: They might lose Jeremy Irwin’s eight-year-old son Blake, too! Can the family stand to lose another child?

According to The Daily Mail, Blake’s natural mother Rasleen Raim has filed an ‘Emergency Motion for Temporary Custody’ and ‘Motion to Modify Child Custody/Visitation’ in the Missouri courts.

Rasleen lost custody of Blake in 2008, and he’s been living with his dad ever since. But now Rasleen claims Blake is in danger — after all, he was there in the house the night his sister vanished, and Deborah admits she was home drunk with the kids that evening.

Rasleen said in a letter that she’s concerned about Blake’s “safety, comfort and peace of mind.”

Last week, Blake and his five-year-old brother Michael were interviewed by child counselors desperately hoping to find new information in the case. The family’s high-profile attorney John Picerno said the interview lasted two hours, but there were no new developments.

“They are cute little boys,” he said. “I first met them this week. The first thing they said when I sat down with them at their kitchen table was, the older one said, ‘Are you going to help us find Lisa?”

It's Missing Baby Lisa's First Birthday!

This should be a milestone in little Lisa’s life! But she’s still missing, and there hasn’t been a single sign of her since she disappeared Oct. 4!

Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin should be celebrating Lisa’s first birthday with her half brothers, but instead the boys are finally being re-interviewed by police! Why has it taken SO long?

Lisa’s brothers were supposed to be interviewed Oct. 28, but lawyers cancelled them! Deborah and Jeremy haven’t been the most cooperative with investigators, but police now say they’ve interviewed the boys and hope it will lead to a break in the case, according to ABCNews.com.

Deborah claimed she cancelled the interviews at first because she didn’t want to put the boys through anything else. Yet she and her husband have still yet to agree to unrestricted separate interviews! And after Deborah admitted she was drunk the night Lisa went missing, she hasn’t come out in the best light.

But parts of her story are starting to add up: Neighbors say they saw a strange man in the neighborhood carrying a baby that night AND a local woman received a mysterious phone call from one of the family’s stolen cell phones.

Although there’s plenty of rumors, theories and questions, baby Lisa is still missing on her first birthday! The family’s attorney, Joe Tacopina, said the family will be recognizing her birthday in a private way. “This is not a day of celebration,” he said.

This woman received a strange phone call the night baby Lisa went missing — from one of the phones stolen from the house! Is there a connection?

The night baby Lisa Irwin disappeared, Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin say three cell phones also went missing. In an intriguing twist, police say a 50-second phone call was made from one of the missing phones. But Deborah and Jeremy say that’s totally impossible — the phones were disconnected! This case keeps getting stranger and stranger!
Police have interviewed Megan Wright about the phone call she received, according to KCTV5. She lived a mile away from the family, but says she doesn’t know them at all.

“I didn’t have my phone at the time, but apparently there was a 50-second phone call from one of the family’s phones to my cell phone,” she explained. “I don’t know what was said or who called or who answered my phone, but that’s what the police have been questioning me about.”

So where WAS the phone? Megan says she shares it with seven other people she lives with, which is why she has no idea who answered the call. But apparently the call was made between 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. — which was about two hours after Deborah says she last saw Lisa!

But Megan might be connected to the case more than just a mysterious call…

She used to date a neighborhood handyman known as “Jersey” that police have questioned regarding the case. “He’s an ex-boyfriend of mine,” Megan revealed. “We dated for about five months. He was just a friend of a friend.” She said that they broke up a few weeks before Lisa went missing!

She said “Jersey” often went door-to-door looking for work, so it was possible that he might have stopped by Jeremy and Deborah’s home before. Police have spoken to “Jersey,” but he’s been cleared.

This case has so many twists and turns! First, Deborah changes her story and revealed she was drunk that night. Then, neighbors saw a mysterious man in the area holding a baby. And now this!

Attorneys Cancel Interviews With Lisa Irwin's Brothers!

Baby Lisa is still missing, and now the police interviews with her two half-brothers have been called off!

The interviews were supposed to take place today, Oct. 28, but now the family’s high-profile lawyer has abruptly canceled them, according to The Today Show! Will this hurt the investigation?

The boys were sleeping in the home the night Lisa Irwin disappeared, and they said that they heard unexplained noises that night. The boys, ages 5 and 8, were supposed to speak with someone trained to interview children, and they were supposed to provide DNA samples.

Deborah Bradley says she doesn’t want to put them through anything else, but she and Lisa’s father, Jeremy Irwin, haven’t agreed to unrestricted separate interviews themselves. And police are now frustrated with their lack of help!

Kansas City police told NBC that the interviews could be rescheduled, but no date has been set.

A new video takes you through baby Lisa’s home with a step-by-step look into the night she disappeared!

Investigators have searched Lisa Irwin’s home for every possible clue, and now her parents, Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin, have let The Today Show inside for a first look! They said they have “nothing to hide!”

Reporting from Kansas City, NBC’s Peter Alexander toured the house where Lisa disappeared. Lisa’s room was left as it was before she was missing — except for the graphite investigators left on the crib as they dusted for fingerprints.

Peter then walked through the rest of the house, showing a step-by-step look at how an intruder would have had to move. If it was an abduction, the intruder would have had to enter a window in a family room, walk through a hallway past the bedroom Lisa’s brother was sleeping in and then out through the front door.

It was already reported that a cadaver dog discovered a scent of a human corpse near Deborah and Jeremy’s bed. In the same affidavit, Deborah said she didn’t search behind the house for Lisa because she “was afraid of what she might find.”

Breaking news! A newly released document reveals new information in the baby Lisa case!

The request for a search warrant Kansas City police filed on Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin’s home has revealed shocking new details!
“On October 17, 2011 an FBI cadaver dog was brought into the residence upon consent of [parents Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin],” the document stated, according to People. “The cadaver dog indicated a positive ‘hit’ for the scent of a deceased human in an area of the floor of Bradley’s bedroom near the bed.”

It was the dog’s reaction that led to the search warrant on the family’s home. The police and FBI spent nearly 17 hours searching, and even had a judge’s permission to search “a garden area with portions of dirt having an appearance of being recently disturbed or overturned.”

According to People, another document revealed items seized from the house: a multi-color comforter, blanket, purple shorts, multi-color Disney character shirt, Glow worm toy (which was in the crib with Lisa Irwin the night she went missing), rolls of tape and a tape dispenser.

Earlier today there were reports of a suspicious-looking man with a baby matching Lisa’s description, but she still has not been found.

Baby Lisa Irwin Update: Witnesses Say They Saw A Suspicious Man Carrying Her!

Three people believe they saw a suspicious man carrying baby Lisa near her home the night she disappeared!

Suspicions have risen around Lisa Irwin’s mother, Deborah Bradley, but now there’s reports of another possible suspect! According to ABC’s Good Morning America, eyewitnesses saw a suspicious-looking man in a T-shirt holding a baby that matched Lisa’s description! The baby was in nothing but a diaper, which they found unusual due to the cold weather the night of Oct. 4.

Lisa’s parents, Deborah and Jeremy Irwin, maintain that she disappeared sometime between 6:40 p.m. on Oct. 3, when Deborah put Lisa to bed, and 4 a.m. on Oct. 4, when Jeremy returned home from work.

At about 12:15 a.m., two neighbors saw the man carrying the baby not far from Lisa’s home. They said they’ve been interviewed by police four times. About four hours later around 4 a.m., Mike Thompson saw the man and baby about three miles away from the house.

The man was described as being about 5’7″ or 5″8″ and probably in his late ’30s/early ’40s. Police say they’re still investigating the possible sightings, according to ABC.

Baby Lisa Irwin Update: Search Warrant Issued For Family Home!

The search for missing baby Lisa heats up, and now police have banned her parents from their home!

On Oct. 18, investigators searched the house where Lisa Irwin‘s parents Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin have been staying since their daughter’s disappearance. Now the detectives have executed a search warrant on the family’s home where Lisa was taken from her crib on Oct. 3!

According to ABCNews.com, Kansas City Police Department Capt. Steve Young said investigators will be in the house “pretty heavy today.” The police have also blocked the road in front of the house and issued a no-fly zone over the neighborhood.

Previously, the family voluntarily allowed investigations of the home, but now police said they’ve stopped cooperating — to the point that investigators had to get a search warrant for the home.

Capt. Steve Young wouldn’t tell ABCNews.com why police are returning to the house two weeks after the disappearance. Is it because Deborah changed her story of what happened that night?

Detectives plan to be at the house all day and hope they’ll find something to help the search for Lisa. As they search, the relationship between the police and Deborah and Jeremy continues to deteriorate.

The couple haven’t agreed to an interview with detectives since Oct. 8, and Deborah revealed information — like the fact she had been drinking that night — to the media, but not detectives.

“There are things the detectives need to flesh out with the parents that only they would know, and we no longer have that opportunity to sit down with them,” Capt. Steve Young said. He said the questioning got to a point where Deborah became uncomfortable and stopped. “We strongly believe that that parent’s cooperation and involvement is critical,” he added.
