Jennifer Nettles Welcomes Son Magnus Hamilton — Congrats

It’s a boy! The Sugarland frontwoman and her hubby Justin Miller welcomed their first child on Dec. 6 — congrats to the happy couple!

Jennifer Nettles is now a mommy! The country singer gave birth to a healthy baby boy named Magnus Hamilton on Dec. 6.

It is the first child for the Sugarland singer and her husband, entrepreneur Justin Miller.

“We are so thankful for all the prayers and support, and are excited to take some time together as a new family,” the couple said in a statement, according to People.

Magnus’ arrival came just in time for the couple’s one-year anniversary — they got married on Nov. 28, 2011 in a small sunset ceremony in Tennessee.

Congrats to Jennifer and Justin!

The Sugarland frontwoman is so far along in her pregnancy, she was afraid her water would break during the 2012 CMAs on Nov. 1! She and hubby Justin Miller are expecting their first child any day.

Jennifer Nettles may be in her last month of pregnancy, but that didn’t stop the Sugarland singer from showing up to the 2012 CMAs in Nashville on Nov. 1 — and rocking a gorgeous gown!

Jennifer, 38, is set to welcome her first baby this month with husband Justin Miller, so she chose a curve-hugging black Donna Karan gown that covered up and accentuated in all the right places.

“When you’re this pregnant, you want to find something that is cut right … that’s super important,” she told People.

She topped off her look with glittery Gucci pumps, which were not as comfy as her dress! “My dogs are barking at this point!” she said.

Jennifer even joked that she was worried she would go into labor during the awards show — at least she would have looked good doing it!

Jennifer Nettles is one busy woman — lead singer to the country duo Sugarland, mentor on the music reality show Duets, and now a first-time momma! The country crooner put her baby bump in the spotlight during a Sugarland concert at Cruzan Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, Fla.

Jennifer, 37, married her husband, entrepreneur Justin Miller, last November. The couple confirmed to People in June that they were expecting their first child.

Jennifer showed off her bump on July 29 on stage in a sheer top and short shorts. We’ll keep looking out for her growing belly!
